Montezuma's - Parkdale

First time we have eaten here. The service was very good and we didn’t have to wait long for the food . It was great we will definitely be coming back . Great choice for gluten free as well .

A bit slow early but improved. Waitress very friendly and helpful. Food was adequate. Just what we expected from your local Tex-Mex style of restaurant.

Great food, lovely decor, good kids menu with pencils and colouring in. It would be great if there were perhaps Mexican or South American music, it just needs that boost with a vibe and the place would be awesome.

The food was amazing i like the decorations too. The special wine was nice and also reasonable price it has. just the seat for 6 people was tight.

Food tastes good but service could do with some improvement, if you order a kids meal it should come out first, not a couple of minutes after the adults. It would also be nice if when they offer sides to mention the price, $4.90 for a tiny tub of guacamole on the side of kids nachos is a bit much.

The rice was dry and clumpy, and cheese burnt to the plate, meatballs also dry as if they were all microwaved. Food too hot (temperature).

weirded out by the towels on the tables, besides that , the food was yum. Its was the first time i have been to Montezuma's in parkdale. i would go again

Delicious fresh food. Friendly staff. Never had a bad meal here and will always come back. Reasonably priced, generally pretty busy with couples, small tables and fed families. Highly recommend.

Food lacked flavour, was very bland for Mexican. More spice needed to add some flavour to the food, over priced for the poor quality provided.

Busy Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff. Great food and drinks, alternative vegan/vegetarian menu. Reasonable priced. Furniture is a little dated. We will be coming back for more.

There were 4 of us who really enjoyed the fantastic full flavoured food. The margheritas were freezing and wonderful. The service was amazing. We will be back.

Always an enjoyable experience there! Staff are always lovely and delicious food. We travel 45 minutes each way and will continue to do so time and time again.

Good honest mexican food with nice atmosphere. Pricing is very reasonable for both food and alcohol, there are good children's options as well. Overall good experience.

Children’s meal came last instead of first, so lost a point for that. Otherwise the food was great as per usual and we had a lovely time.

Every time I go into Montazumas, I receive great service. Food and drinks always come so quickly and taste amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone.

This restaurant was not like other Montezumas locations. You paid the same amount of money for less food, and it the quality was not as good. The food you got wasn’t what was listed on the menu. When we questioned it, all we got was “we don’t do that anymore.” We weren’t told when ordering that we wouldn’t get the correct condiments and they would be substituted and if we had I would have ordered something else. Not a nice experience at this Montezumas.

We had a large family group of 20 celebrating our son’s 18th birthday. The food was great and the staff was very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing vegan menu!! Any vegan would be able to find something they like. And it was great in both texture and taste. Plus the service was good. Highly recommend, particular for vegans and vegetarians.

It was good but they haven’t changed their menu in over ten years. Good that you get what you expect but bad because it is the same stuff over and over.

The service was average. The drinks took a long time to arrive. One of our meals was overlooked and one was an incorrect order. There was a lot of staff working. Our family like the restaurant and the food. We spent nearly $300. These sort of issues have happened before. There is a communication gap between the customer, the wait staff and the kitchen.

A birthday celebration and it was wonderful. The aroma as you enter is divine, the wait staff are very friendly and the food was beautiful.

The vegan menu is great and we enjoyed the food Unfortunately however I think montezuma is very tired and quite dated and could do with a good makeover.

We had a party of 7 including two vegetarians and two vegans, the food was delicious and everyone was happy. The staff were great also. Will definitely visit again!

Lovely place, but mains took almost an hour to turn up. Otherwise, it's well worth a visit, and the dishes we had were very enjoyable.

Lovely lunch ar Montazumas. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. Montazumas Parkdale is my favourite place to meet friends for lunch or dinner.

Although cutely decorated, tables were very close to each other. You felt like you were sitting on your neighbors lap. The food was nice but nothing to write home about. You can get equally as nice food from a Taco Bell.

Service was really good and meals were good. Great decor inside. Everyone enjoyed the Nachos and chicken fajitas were good but I think they should serve 4 soft tortillas considering the plate of food you get to put in the tortillas.

Service was a little slow, however staff were extremely busy as it was Saturday night. The ambiance was fabulous & the food was delicious. Overall, a great place to take the family. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Service was fairly good although I felt it was a little slow compared to some eateries I frequent. The food was better than my previous visits to this restaurant, which was a good surprise. Good choice of authentic beers.

Montezuma’s always offer a great service. Friendly helpful staff and great food. Our family love coming here and sharing a meal together. Kids love the colouring and it allows the adults some time to talk.

Customer service was excellent. Meals a fair size however they have become smaller over the last 25 years I've been going. Smaller plates. Meals full of flavour.

As a family, we love Montezumas! Always a great meal, the service is excellent and friendly, and we always leave satisfied! Our son also won the colouring competition recently, so it's even worth doing that and trying your hand!

Food was good, service was very slow. Forgot one item for my sons meal. I was disappointed with how long we had to wait for the food.

We had quite a large group. The seating was quite squishy. Everyone would have to stand up and move out of their seats if someone wants to get up. Food was decently priced and the portions were very good.

The service was really bad and took forever just to order a drink. After we ordered drinks we got told someone else would take our food order. We had to wait another 20 minutes.
