great ambience, food was fast and drinks were very yummy.

The ambiance is great, we try try to come here for most special occasions. Sangria is to die for, and the food is always amazing. They've added a vegan and vegetarian menu now too!

Overall nice restaurant with very interesting decor. Good service though food a bit bland. Looks a bit run down from outside but nice ethnic look inside

It was very disorganised. No ser kettles at the table. I was with my two small children. One child's order came out the but other didn't. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the other meal to arrive

We just love it at the Glenelg Montezuma's. We were there last night for a combined birthday/anniversary dinner. At the end, we leaned (slightly!) over the serving counter and thanked the 2 cooks. Delicious meal ! - susan

Always have a fun night at Montezumas. Good value and excellent Sangria. Busy Friday night but service was still good and food was very filling.

The location was great, being so close to the GU Film House made it an obvious choice. The service was friendly, prompt and they happily accommodated a change to the meal on the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The food was good and the service was ok. The staff were helpful and friendly. Not many people there and it is a big place so at times we felt ignored as staff seemed to ‘disappear’ into the back of the restaurant. Maybe filling takeaway orders? The six of us enjoyed the meals we had although they did seem quite pricey for what they were. We had some vouchers which reduced the cost considerably.

Always yummy food. Ordered the 4 Combo as an entree - smallish portions for the price and we ran out of chips. Will be back!

Food was average and customer service sub par, waiting for extended periods to be served. Plates left on table for fifteen minutes after mains finished before we decided to leave and get dessert elsewhere.

We live at Port Elliot, but we love eating at Montezuma's at Glenelg. The owner Julie and her staff are fantastic.The food is always fresh, hot and delicious.

Good food choices, reasonable prices, quick service which is great if you are going to the flicks directly opposite. Only downside is queueing at tiny bar for alcohol as there is no table service for drinks.

Rice on the dishes was crunchy like it had been left on warmer too long and chicken was dreadful - lacked flavour and the addition of fried banana and pineapple was bizarre and too soft when it was plated. On the upside though the chilli was good and corn chips crunchy and nachos were tasty too - staff took forever to clear tables and offer dessert - had to ask twice. Wine list needs a rethink.

I don't think there was enough staff early so the poor guys looked very rushed and stresses. It would be nice if nachos cane with sour cream.

The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait very long between courses. My only criticism is that we had to line up and wait to order drinks.

Great meal with food order coming out very quickly. The only slight negative was we didn't realise you have to get up & order your drinks. Long wait as people were ordering cocktails but would go back again.

Great food, quirky atmosphere, and decent menu. Could probably offer a better drinks menu; but, overall it is a quality Mexican restaurant if you're ever in the Glenelg area.
