Montezuma's - Crows Nest

The food and drinks are fabulous, the servings are quite big and the atmosphere is very bright and very authentic. We will be back soon.

Very good as always! Food was superb and services is really great. There was a birthday party at the back, so the whole place is very noisy. But still okay.

Delicious mexican food in a vibrant atmosphere. Generous servings. And a cheeky pina colada made the night even more exotic! A great mid-week date night!

Great food at Montezuma's, as always. Love it! Staff are really friendly and the meals were hot (super hot plates!), and they serve the best salad ever. Yes I said salad - so good. We went for my daughters birthday and she loved it.

The food was beautiful, the margaritas were great and the decor is so fun and colourful. We were very happy with the price. They forgot to bring out part of my meal and it took a while to get someones attention but that's a small mistake.

Service was slow to begin with and we waited a while for our food BUT they did bring it out all at once and it was worth the wait

The service was extremely poor. Almost laughable. The Food was beyond average. We asked why the fajitas weren't sizzling as they suggested in the menu. They advised that management don't do sizzling anymore. Won't be back.

Food is amazing, closest to Tex Mex around. Several issues though - -Food arrived super late (group of 11), seems like way after everyone else. -Get guests to order drinks from the bar is not a good service. -Charging cakege and not cutting your cake is a bit slack.

Atmosphere and ambiance are great. Food was lovely with all the standard Mexican dishes. Staff were friendly but very busy - could do with an additional staff member or two! Margaritas were exceptional!!! Fantastic choices for vegetarians and vegans as we had both in our group.

Great place, nice atmosphere and the food is always good with decent sized servings. Good for parking with carpark just across the road as well.

We love it at Montezuma's but our meals last night were overcooked and not presented as well as we are used to. maybe they have a new chef.

Really enjoyed the decor and vibe of Montezuma's. San Antonio Nachos and frozen Margs were great! Frijoles burrito was a little bland, I would probably go for something more fresh next time like the nachos or tacos!

Loved the Vegan menu!! And my friends also enjoyed their beef nachos. Sangria was awesome. Very busy but service was fairly quick considering that. All up a great spot!

Lunch was ok but a little too oily for my personal liking. Not sure l'll be rushing back any time soon...... ........ ... . .

The service was not very good that night, very slow and got orders wrong or fogot things & the food wasn't as tasty as usual

Great Service. Relaxed vibe. Delicious food.Recommend for quick family dinner or romantic couples. Ask for a booth for more privacy away from noisy kids etc.

We come here all the time. Best Mexican in Sydney, we even cross the bridge just to come back. Have a vegan menu too which is great if you're looking for a place that caters for a few different diets. Everyone's covered

Not a busy day in the restaurant, but service was slow. Meal sizes also seem to have shrunk slightly. And worst offence; no sangaria readily available. Had to wait for a batch to be made up

I have always enjoyed the food at Montezumas. The warm cheese dip is one of my favorite things to eat period. The mains are always generous. I am disappointed that Crows Nest is the only one left in Sydney.

Food and staff was fantastic but don't go on a night when it is hot as there air conditioning is pathetic, it was like a sweat box inside

It was a 40 degree day and there wasn't sufficient aircon in the restaurant. It felt like we were dining in a sauna. Food was ok. A bit overpriced for what it was.

Great ambience, family friendly and attentive staff. Food was hit and miss - excellent cheese enchiladas and refried beans were delicious. However, salad served on a hot plate was wilted and all "extras" that usually come as standard in tex-mex had additional cost.

Great food and great service. Even the atmosphere made us feel like we were in Mexico! Had a coconut margarita - wow that was delicious. Eat early to avoid the crowds

The food at Montezumas was delicious. The customer service was friendly but very slow. The decor hasn't changed in 20 years since I last went there. There is no air conditioning.

We love it at Montezumas always a great casual Mexican meal. Always meets expectations and consistent. Crows Nest always great service prompt and friendly - thanks again to the staff

Good vegan meal selection from a range of appetizer, main and desserts. Friendly service and in very good location in crows nest. Would recommend to vegans.

We have been going to Montezuma's for years, starting at Dee Why then Manly then Crows Nest. The food is tasty and the sangria is delicious however it's not as good as it once was. We would regularly go there for a meal whereas now we only go when we have a birthday voucher.

Prompt, friendly and efficient service along with delicious meals and margaritas at reasonable prices. This was not my first visit and won't be my last. I highly recommend Montezuma's Crows Nest!

Very nice place! Big portions and fresh ingredients. Lovely waitress too :) Not many people at 6pm on a Friday night, guess it gets busier later on the night.

We all enjoyed our meals and drinks. The portion sizes seemed to be a little larger than last time and they had nice new red crockery - an improvement!

Overall Great meal - fun family night. Service was good and food prompt. Good menu selection with option for kids, vegetarians an even vegans. Enjoyed the fuss made of the birthday girl.

Food was great as always. Satisfied my craving for real mexican. Only negative was staff on meet and greet acted like i was an interruption, finishing off theur conversation before attending to me when i walked in the door.

Food was tasty and what I thought was a good interpretation of Mexican food. Wine was bought to your table and just left there. I had to open and pour it myself. When the time came to pay at the counter I did not appreciate being handed the eftpos machine and told how much tip did I want to pay. This alone will stop me from ever going back as I find this extremely distasteful.

Montezuma's has a consistent, tasty, fresh, wide ranging menu and are proactively accommodating of issues such as gluten and vegetarian. Service is generally attentive, although being in the back booth meant once or twice some arm-waving to get attention!

Great food, good atmosphere, generous portion, awesome combination for a nice dinner out. This place serves simple American style Mexican food, a breath of fresh air compared to all the hipster Mexican places that serves tiny fish tacos with chilli Mayo and call them tex-mex. This is great for group of friends, family or just 2 people.

Another great meal at Montezuma's at Crows Nest. Delicious comfort food never fails to please ! Such a great menu to satisfy the hungriest of patrons.

The food was great. Watch out - the dishes come straight from the oven! The bar was unattended initially but they got their act together soon after. We got there early at 530. Great range of beers from Mexico.

We had an event of 20+ people here, and it was a terrified night. Great food, lovely service, cool atmosphere. The vegan menu is a great addition, & the food was fantastic. We will definetly be back soon!

Montezuma's Crows Nest is always pleasant to visit. The food is very flavoursome, the decor is quite charming and the staff are always very efficient and friendly.

Always consistent, with good service and great food. A really great place to take kids to. One of our family favourite places to go to.

Fantastic!! Vegan and vegetarian options. Over 60 beers, yummy food with spicy/hot added if reqyuested. Great for both groups, families and couples!! An amazing night out.

Food was ordinary and service was terrible extremely slow service as we had to flag the waitstaff for everything we needed from the second we sat down until the second we paid the bill.
