Despite rather soulless location, we will definitely be returning for more dinners and it is also perfect for lunch during the week. Food fresh and delicious. Service impeccable.

The food was delicious and the waiters were helpful. The caramelized pork was a bit heavy. Nice environment for chatting on weekday evening. Great dessert too. Of course, it all comes with a price, but fair enough!

Great service and awesome food. Only one dish was saltier than expected, we shared feeeback with the Manager and he took on the feedback and will advise the kitchen. Fav dishes are the caramalizes pork belly and netted spring rolls and beef with betel leaf

Overall experience was a good one at Moi Moi. Food and service were both above average. It was a quiet night so it felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves. I'd go back again.

While not up to the same standard as his Sydney based Red Lantern restaurant, Moi Moi is still an excellent interpretation of Luke Nguyan's food.

Now, this is a discovery. The food was simply delicious and very authentic. One friend was not initially a Vietnamese food lover but we got him convinced. The set menu is definitely worth a try. They close too early though.

Such a lovely meal. My only fault would be the salt & pepper tofu had no salt & pepper so the balance was off but otherwise delicious. We rally enjoyed the desserts and the banana fritters were really special with that super crunch.

Delightful modern Vietnamese restaurant with a distinct Australian relaxed but stylish accent and environment. The freshest herbs and vegetables with piquant sauces. The portions are perfect for sharing.

Tasting menu was good just a lot of food. Entrees were probably the best. Avocado tart slightly sweet with the palm sugar. Polite attentive staff. Nice experience.

The food was really nice but the atmosphere is lacking - it is located on the ground floor of an office building...and it feels like.

Some interesting items such as the Brussels sprouts, wagyyu pho is quite unnecessary . Duck breast salad was generous in portion. Currently no liquor license

Fabulous food and atmosphere at a reasonable price by Hong Kong standards. We had the tasting menu which was very good. Lovely mix of fresh flavours, and the avocado tart at the end was to die for. Excellent Indochinese fusion of a standard one would generally only find in Oz. Reminded me that it is still worthwhile heading out for dinner in Hk, despite the experience frequently being extremely average, overpriced and disappointing. Highly recommended.

We were attracted by the famed chef. The food was ok though nothing extraordinary. The menu was kind of small for making selection. Overall, we were expecting more than just another Vietnamese restaurant.

We enjoyed the rice cake and the slow-cooked pork belly. The avacado tart was fantastic too! I love rice paper roll but there is only one to choose from and i think it was a bit pricy for that one.

Super tasty. Happy that Luke Nguyen has opened a place here. Miss red lantern back in Sydney. Must order the beef lettuce wraps and brussel sprouts

The baked sea bass was lovely and the mushroom salad was interesting (though it was a small portion). The recommended grilled chicken (1/2 a chook) lacked flavour. It was HKD 350 PP with a cocktail each. Unfortunately Moi Moi wouldn't be on my return list.

Found it disappointing. Food was average and atmosphere also. Had expected it tobe much more special. Then came the bill: very overpriced, not worth the money at all.

Food was okay. Rice paper rolls are good and fresh. The lemongrass wagyu beef is a little burnt when you really taste it. The pork belly is good but quite salty. Would be better to pair with rice.

Food, atmosphere exceeded my expectations- did not have much expectation at first but was won over by sheer quality of food. Good crowd music decent volume such you can actually here ourselves talk - if they can maintain this quality without lowering standards, I expect this to be a regular place in the HK dining circuit.

Great food and great services. The dishes are a twist in Vietnamese food you don't see elsewhere in HK. Flavours were a bit mello though. I would have liked more heat and spice. But overall we loved it and will be back.

Food was very good, especially the slow cooked braised pork. The Lemon grass wagyu beef wrap was also good. Restaurant is always full, so needed to book in advance.

Moi Moi is a welcome addition to the Central dining scene, delivering the goods with excellent flavors, a pleasant (though not perfect) atmosphere, and genuinely helpful staff. An enjoyable dinner experience at Moi Moi on the whole. Certainly worth a visit. We ordered an array of dishes, and they nearly all hit the mark. Aunty 5's Rice Cakes were a winner, as were the perfectly-seared scallops. Skewered okra had a pleasant snap despite being somewhat underseasoned. Roast chicken was juicy, succulent, and deeply flavorful -- top marks. Staff were friendly and attentive and made consistently good recommendations. High marks for the service level, very nicely done. Restaurant has an inviting vibe with a line of sight into the kitchen, and overall a nice, modern feel to it. Certain features are questionable but easily remedied: Case in point, the bright spot lighting which shines into the mirror, virtually blinding diners who face it (I had to wear my hat to cut the glare). Knocking the wattage down a few pegs would do the trick. Also, a big stack of Luke Nguyen's cookbooks (presumably for sale) that greet diners upon walking in strikes me as tacky and a tad desperate. The food is good enough here that it should be able to stand up on its own, without the added merchandising plug. Just my opinion. Only other element, which really isn't the restaurant's fault, is the bathroom situation. Bathrooms are located very far away from the space, and require a key. All the way out the building, up to 1/F and around a corner. Nexxus building -- a relatively new building in Central, seems to have badly dropped the ball when they didn't accommodate a restroom on G/F. Again, not the restaurant's fault, but it definitely diminished the experience somewhat. Overall Moi Moi is a welcome addition to the Central dining scene. Luke Nguyen is a likable TV personality and it's really nice to see that his cooking is the real deal. We'll be back.

Clever twist to traditional Vietnamese food. Dinner tasting menu is good value but with minimum order of 4 people. Will go again to try out lunch menu.

If you go to Moi Moi, you MUST order the pork belly. Hands down, the best pork belly we've ever had. The duck salad was also incredible, the flavours reminded us a lot of street food we had in Vietnam. We'd also recommend trying the beef in betel leaves, another savoury dish that excited us. The scallop entree was also incredibly flavourful and the scallop was cooked perfectly. We also tried the twice cooked chicken, which was tasty enough, but probably our least favourite dish of the night.

Food is delicious with nice and friendly service from waiters. Also, the deco of the restaurant is quite nice and friendly. I am definitely will come again. But the set lunch menu is still not many choices, recommend the restaurant can provide more for customers to choose.

Wonderfully constructed food with intelligent flavour combinations and texture. A consistently firm favourite. Helpful and attentive service as well. We attended for a birthday dinner and the staff embraced the occasion
