low value for money and poor service, no next time
Good place for meeting friends near bar area with reasonable price
Pork chop taste is very good, and Moi Moi distribue free mask to every guest .
I hope business picks up but that there will always be a table available!
Nice food ! Just lunch menu expensive. If the restaurant can readjust menu and propose less portion for lunch it shall be welcome !
Food was okay, the atmosphere was fine, service was a bit off but generally fine.
Poor quality food, very empty space, limited ambiance. Generally disappointing. Staff made a great effort but the food let them down.
Great food and service, quiet at first, due to the early time we went, but deservedly was getting steadily busier as the evening went on.
Good food and attentive service. Staff members were very friendly
Pleasant. Great experience and lovely food and atmosphere. Highly Recommend!l
Not a bad choice for a weekday lunch in busy Central area
Another good meal at Moi Moi - I really love the chicken salad to start with - it is so fresh and flavoursome.
It wasn’t like his Sydney restaurant and I was quite disappointed
great casual but good food lunch spot. staff were friendly and efficient
The food is still ok. The service has been tanking lately! It would scare the loyal customers away if the waiters and reception never change s their behaviour to a welcome mode!
Everything is fine. Food portion is big. Service is also not bad even lunch time is a busy time.
Average on foods quality, service level and dining atmosphere. Can be better.
The waiters were not as friendly as usual. Not sure becos if they were in bad mood back then.
Very good location in Central, easy to make a reservation.
Good food but empty and very average service. Odd location for a Saturday night dinner
Decent fusion Vietnamese food presented in a Western style - great location!
Waiter service but exceedingly long wait for food. Phos were decent but appetisers and side dishes were not. Grilled pork neck was impossible to chew.
Change of ownership did not result in maintaining food quality. Overall it was disappointing to lose such a great place previously for authentic Vietnamese food.
Starter&main came around the same time so feel too rushed to eat.A male server had a sour face - no Hello, no Thank you! :/
The location is good. The food is yummy but it didn't come with large quantity, just okay. Men may find it a bit small for them. And the price is not cheap, still reasonable in Central district.
As a customer I appreciate to not get all the meals I ordered on the table at the same time ... this could be improved Good quality , efficient service
A nice atmosphere/ decor and good food but in my opinion Moi Moi offers very standard pho and rice rolls at a rather inflated price.
The atmosphere is very nice, the food is very good and tasty, the staff is very professional and kept us well supplied. Our evening and the whole experience was just excellent.
I didn't have a very enjoyable experience, as I found that what was portrayed in the on-line menu photos of little comparison to the dishes actually delivered. The wine selection was also extremely poor.
Good atmosphere and fairly prompt service. Location was convenient for those working in Central. I travelled from Tsim Sha Tsui by MTR and Moi Moi is only 5 minutes from the station .
The food is delicious especially when it is shared with people you like 😉 the flavours are spot on, light and fresh but also filling.
The standard of cooking is always consistent. Delicious food, lunch sets are good value and the service is good. Good ambience. A nice place for a meal.
I was expecting the wow factor at Moimoi , having watched Luke Nguyen on television for many years, but was really disappointed ! Maybe he doesn’t own it anymore ? It was more like a fast food upmarket KFC. The food was adequate enough but just not what we were expecting.
The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent in very large portions. The atmosphere was also inviting and location was easy to get to.
Lunch menu was great value for money. All chosen meals were very tasty. Definitely recommend the pho it is one of the best I've had in the area.
Food is great. Will recommend to friends and will go again. Must make reservation otherwise have to wait at least half an hour in rush hours
Seats are comfy. Location is excellent as I work nearby. Price is slightly higher than usual Vietnamese food and service was very average. I ordered a rice paper roll and chicken soup pho. Food was good.
Food ok , nothing out of the ordinary, expensive for what you get. The beef brisket was quite fatty. Enjoyed the chicken. But wouldn’t recommend.
Lunch set is of good value, which includes appetiser, main course and drink. The portion is fairly big. There are snack options available too. Will visit again.
Great service, friendly staff. The pho was sensational ingredients for all dishes were really fresh. Some dishes were not to my taste - the chicken was a bit bland and the fish cakes were...interesting. However, they offered to not charge us for the fish cakes which I was not expecting but did appreciate.
Having eaten at other Nguyen restaurants probably fair to say the food was disappointing, lacked presentation, flavour and zing ,service given we were one of two couples in the restaurant was not sharp we had to ask for our wine bottle on 2 occasions there were 3-4 waiting staff working .
Great food, nice atmosphere and very polite staff. We chose from the a la carte menu, did not try the buffet but that also looked great from what we could see.
I was disappointed. Several dishes were amazing, whilst the remaining dishes were lackluster. The creme brûlée were both split. Whilst the food was ok, in a city of food, this restaurant was over priced and under performing.
Great food, my children loved it too. Very attentive, friendly and welcoming staff Also very helpful and knowledgeable with food ingredients regarding my daughter’s allergies
Wasn't that clean, images and website didn't represent the actual restaurant. Expected alot more from Luke Nguyen, we have dined at many vietnamese restaurants in Sydney and expected the same level.
People in hospitality need to understand that there are 2 aspects to success: 1) Great product 2) Great service One has to consciously work towards ensuring both aspects are maintained consistently. Moi Moi has #1 but failed in #2. When a customer asks something simple like ‘could you please make this dish after removing the shells of the shrimp’, the response we got was ‘the kitchen cannot do that, as it will change the taste of the dish’. When a customer asks something reasonable, the outcomes are owned by the customer. Is it possible that I have already tried such a preparation and liked it? Just to say a flat no, is a failure of big proportions. Needless to say, regardless of the great food (product), we won’t be visiting Moi Moi agin. That is a shame at multiple levels! I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and acts upon it. Otherwise, maintaining and growing the clientele is going to be a challenge.
Loved the food the menu has a lot on offer. Desert was limited. Would go back again.
Great food, great service. Quiet and relaxing with lovely ambience. Portions are not small and the semi-buffet looks very inviting - definitely to try next time!
Good value and good quality. Recommend the fresh rolls. Busy staff but paid attention to our needs Overall decent experience for an easy week night dinner
Awesome Happy Hour and sumptuous semi-buffet ( beyond semi, more like a full buffet )! And of course, superb service, especially lovely Shirley!💙💚💛💜💟
