Milky Lane - Parramatta

Pros; great cocktails, tasty burgers and sides, friendly staff. Cons; very loud/noisy environment so hard to have a conversation with your friends, the DJ is probably unnecessary. There's a lack of plates, particularly when sharing sides such as loaded fries, the tiny paper serviettes don't quite cut it and had to prompt wait staff for cutlery.

Great experience for our first time there, super filling and loved the atmosphere!

Lovely staff took care of our table. Even made change to menu items without a fuss. Much appreciated.

Food and service was great. My only concern was the large amount of people in the space and the lack of social distancing as per the Covid19 regulations. Lucky we weren’t there around during the lunchtime hours where there was a reported case. We were there in the evening.

Our waiter was great and funny and engaged with us all night. He was an older guy. We ordered 4 shakes and 2 spiders. The spiders were a bit of a disappointment. Soft drink and it looked like a tiny bit of runny cream on top and the shakes were not as good as we have had before. For $12 they were disappointing this visit. Other than that happy with the food and the service.

Overall experience was average to OK. It was my 5th time at ML and my 3 x friend’s first times. When we arrived on time, we had to wait 20+ mins for the table we booked (at the bar), my partners loaded fries came out with bacon on them despite his request for no bacon (they replaced these for him) and even though we’re in our 20’s and early 30’s the music was a little too loud for us to hear each other (we were possibly seated under a speaker?). Other than that the experience was OK.. not sure my friends will be heading back in a rush but they were glad they experienced it as they’d heard a lot of hype.

Besides one server (she had curly hair and septum piercing really bubbly and lovely) The rest were all rude especially the male one who served us. No customer service skills. It’s like he didn’t even want to be there I work in customer service myself so not on. Just plain rude. It took 20 mins to get a coke. I had to ask twice. We wanted dessert but none ever came back to take the order. They avoided. So we didn’t bother. As for wanting our bill. No one came we had to get up And physically go to the front desk and get it ourselves As for the food it was meh. Not much to write about. I use to love Going to milky lane but I don’t think I’ll return based off the service. .

There was a hair in the cups that were on our table. No combo option available for the meals. $13 for just a burger? The still water was room temperature (which is fine) but chilled would be nice.

The delay on burger made the evening quite tiresome as attempting to keep a toddler occupied for longer than anticipated is draining. However the waiter was funny and kind and made up for him, the older gentleman not the young girl who told me my forgotten burger was 2 mins away and it took 30 🤷‍♀️

The food was absolutely outstanding, however, we were very rushed due to having only an hour sitting rather than 1.5 hours as stated upon booking. That being said all the staff were lovely and the food was great quality to match the speed. Awesome range of cocktails, only wish we were able to try a few more
