Axel was our server for the night and she was so lovely and kind to us. My daughter (the hard critic) loved everything about Milky Lane and she was really impressed with Axel's patience and fun character. The food was amazing so all together it was an Excellent experience for my little family and I!

Went to order and as I listee what we wantee the server started to tell me they didnt have anything. How can you be a burger and milk shake place and not sell milkshapes? Thi is the second time this has happened to us. So we left. Won't be going back. Also the servers are bloody rude evrytime.

Waited 15 mins to be served. Received our sides of fries and loaded fries as a starter instead of with our burgers and they gave me sweet potato fries instead of normal fries which then we're swapped. We explained that we wanted the fries with the burger but she just said they were ordered as a starter and walked away. Ordered our burgers and the waitor wasn't impressed I wanted a plain burger as it was going to be 'very dry'. We then received our burgers which were extremely underdone as it had blood coming out of them. Told the waitress who replied that that's the way there cooked and if we wanted them well done we should say it in the future. Got the second burger and mine came with a cheese gravy on it which I didn't order and I didn't eat the burger. Extremely disappointed as we ate in the coogee milky lane and it was amazing!

The atmosphere was nice. Retro but also a pop culture feel. The service unfortunately was poor. Whether they need to make the customers more easily visible to the eye of the wait staff or either have a greeter there it would be more efficient. We waited for ages where the restaurant in the front was pretty much empty without being seated - even though we made a booking. Once we were seated the table wasn't set properly so all the holder had were forks. The food came out in a timely manner but I feel like the burgers were definitely lacking. The patty itself was dry which is a shame because had they cooked it medium or rare it would have made th experience a lot better. The sides we had were delicious! Loaded fries and bacon mac & cheese croquetes were great. However, overall if you are seeking burgers that start at $14 and you don't have fries with it then your burger better make a statement that it is worthy of the price that it's tagged.

Nice for a treat. Food was tastey, quite pricey for what it is & anything but healthy. If I go again it will be for lunch or an early dinner as the place was more like a pub when I got there at 8pm. I was looking more for a milk bar experience. Will go again

The food was fantastic, couldn't be faulted. The only issue was the awful smell of cigarettes from people smoking right outside the front door. Wouldn't go back for this reason alone, as these people weren't told to move away

Exceptional and friendly service. We were offered a free serve of sweet potato fries as the chef made too many servings for another table. Burgers, cocktails and desert we’re tasty aswell.

The food was great! Omg yum! Leave your diet at home as it’s a major cheat meal. The service was ok but they could’ve done with a couple more staff members as we had to flag them down a bit for drinks, silly them though as they’d have made much more money on drinks if there were more regular stops by our table. The drinks were delicious! The music was cool and loud which we liked as gave it a fun vibe. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to go back! YUM!!!

Lived up to expectations. Although the drink prices were a bit high, that's what you expect in Sydney.

Great food service was ok but not the best music could be a little lower though But besides all of that it's a great location.

Would of given 5 but as there were children in the restaurant (it was 6 pm) and you're supposed to be good for kids ... maybe consider not playing "motherfucker this motherfucker that" music before say 8pm(?). Theres plenty of other hip hop you could choose! The burgers were good and the popcorn chicken was great!

The Food and Pale Ale Beer was amazing, The Lady that served us was amazing. I am 54 and and my mate is 56,. We asked to have the music made a little softer, as we sitting under the speaker. They could not turn down the sound. So we had to move 3 times to be happy.
