For the price point was expecting a little more in terms of food variety and quality.

Needs more veg food - get with the times! A lot to pay when u don’t eat meat or seafood and your partner does. Needed air was a bit stuffy

Food was very good but desserts were a little “ho hum”. The table opposite the roast meats was bare. It appeared that either they were not putting food on that part or they had just cleared away - in any event it was not a good look. They should at least put plates there or a floral arrangement not not have a large empty space.

A lovely experience, attentive staff and the variety and quality of food on offer was fantastic.

We chose this restaurant as we were attending a concert at the Hamer Hall at 7.30. As it was self service we had control on how long the meal took. There was a wonderful selection of food which was beautifully displayed. A memorable evening.

Service was a little slow. The drinks took too long to arrive and the level of service provided by the staff member assigned to our table was disappointing.

We dine at Melba on special occasions as the atmosphere and food is of a very high quality and the experience very enjoyable. Our waiter Shane, was extremely friendly and efficient which made this (a 70th Birthday) very memorable for all.

Very disappointed. My wife and I were on a table for two in a group other tables for two. This meant that we were so close together that it was impossible to hold any conversation between ourselves without the two tables on other side of us hearing every word and vice versa.

Good selection. Love the sashimi bar and made to order stir fry noodles.

Food was excellent on quality and variety. Service was brisk, and our table was not really given much attention for the evening. The restaurant staff apologised for this at the end of the evening, which was appreciated.

Fantastic buffet dinner. Loved the sashimi, sushi and seafood. The Moreton Bay Bugs were so delicious. Staff were wonderful, friendly and very quick to clear tables.

We certainly enjoyed our lunch at the Melba Restaurant. My husband and I celebrated our 49th Wedding Anniversary with our daughter and had a wonderful day enjoying the lunch and service.

it was hard for elderly people with walking frames to get up and down from food area

I have been to Melba several times and always had a good experience. Our waitress was quite slow in regards to checking on our table and there were a couple of times where we had to get up and ask to order another drink which was slightly disappointing. The food is always delicious - the only two things I wish were available were the Morton Bay bugs and crème brulee as they are my two favourites. Overall a good experience.

Very high standard of buffet with excellent choice. Had nice window table with superb view.

Great range of food, loved the sushi station and indian station where they make fresh naan. Pasta station where they cook everything fresh was wonderful as well. Favourites was definitely the seafood

We came for my husband’s quiet birthday celebration. Good food, good atmosphere, decent service. It was a bit confusing that they offered bookings every half hour but split dining into 2 sessions. Luckily we booked 6pm for 7:30pm finish, so we had enough time to eat, although towards the end we were very rushed I had to gulp my wine before we were ushered to pay.

It was over priced. Dated decor and ordinary food. Not value for money.

Need more varieties of food. There was no Lamb meat at all which was a let down for us. Also there was no real fish like snapper, barramundi etc.

We have been to the restaurant a few times before and the food and services was as good as it has laws been. The spread catered for many different tastes and dietary requirements

The waiter Johnathan was nice and helpful. We had a great time in Melba and my boyfriend was happy on his birthday.

I expected alot more from the Langham. It was our Wedding anniversary and i had requested a Table with a View (meaning by the Window) but was seated away from any view. There were tables by the window free with noone seated at them the whole time we were there. Also our little gifted boxed cakes stated ‘happy birthday’...it wasnt our birthday. I felt a little more effort could have been made to make a special day as special as it should be especially paying the price everything is at.

Fresh and delicious seafood, great service. However the choice of other food is limited and taste so-so considering the price.

Have returned to the Melba after making the Conservatory at Crown our celebrations venue. The range of food and variety are much reduced and the salad bar uninspiring with vegetables presented individually as opposed to together in mixed salads. Meat choices in the roast areas down to beef only that we noted. The best areas of the buffet were the Indian food and the Japanese food selection of raw fish. The octopus salad there was delicious. Service is good and we certainly didn’t leave hungry though we felt the Melba wasn’t as good as it used to be. The lunch buffet at the Melba was our family treat for many years.
