Excellent! My daughter has Coeliac Disease and having chef cook for her is perfect!

Good establishment, though at times table service was lacking when wanting to order drinks.

The experience at Melba was lovely. Our party of three all thoroughly enjoyed our time and walked out very full! One member of our group though has a severe allergy to sea food and fish sauce. When ordering from the noodle station, she gave this information the chef. At the time, everything was okay, but overnight had an allergic reaction which means there must have been some cross contamination, potentially from tongs or a wok. It was a bit disappointing after she had mentioned it to the chef.

Service was not as attentive in terms of asking if more drinks were needed, efficient at plate clearing however

Service great ,food was excellent except for a couple of things. Beef was overdone a bit, Duck pancakes had been left out and dried a bit before they had the duck put in them. Couldn’t find vanilla ice cream a popular choice by most people I would have thought but not available . I must say very good otherwise and really enjoyed the night.

The ambiance was romantic and beautiful the food was fresh and fantastic with ample choice of delicious delicacies. The staff were fautless - friendly and efficient. An excellent experience - I felt spoilt and loved.!!

My friends and I LOVE Langham and we always go there for all our birthdays every year. The food is always amazing as is the service. The only area I believe Langham could improve is to ensure they don't run out of desserts. So many times we go up to get dessert and the options we originally wanted are no longer there or things have just completely run out so I would suggest keeping desserts stocked up would be amazing.

Very nice night looking out on Southbank. Relaxed atmosphere and good service. Food was very good and there was a good variety to suit most tastes. It is a buffet so some presentation niceties on a plate are missing. Good selection of wines and drinks. Valet parking is a little overpriced at $70 for less than 2 hours.

Today, the quality of food was extremely poor particularly the seafood, prawns were in consistent in size and mussel were frozen. Eating such food was not pleasant.

Expansive buffet but very pricey. Service excellent. Some dishes were not hot.

Beautiful place and excellent staff. Great food and table service. I was disappointed with a foursome sitting behind us with noisy chatter. One young lady in particular who told the whole restaurant about her personal life and her views on everything. I pay to eat out to enjoy food and a relaxed atmosphere. For this environment it was out of place and my wife and I left slightly disappointed.

Not the fine dinning experience I was after for our anniversary. Service was bad and food was well below par. We went A la carte big mistake. They cater to the buffet and buffet crowd. Not people wanting a nice meal.

Overall the food lacked flavour however there was variety. The ambiance was nice, not to loud and the staff were polite and timely. Of the different buffets available in Melbourne, Melba unfortunately doesn't top the list.

Had a wonderful time, we were treated very well and would recommend to anyone. My husband and I have very different diets so eating at the buffet makes it so much easier to choose what you want.

Beautiful food and variety. Much improved from previous visit a few years ago. Very expensive at $125 a head and I see they have dropped the free drink they used to give. Food fresh and plentiful, service a little slow, but I note there were not a lot of wait staff on and they were very busy. When compared to the other buffet at Crown at the same price, Melbas definitely much better value. Would definitely return but for a special occasion only. Too expensive for regular attendance.

The restaurant was ok but overpriced for what it was. Too many cooking stations meant you meed to line up and wait for food. The desert was terrible. It all tasted like it was 3 days old.

The female waiters were more attentive compared to their male counterparts. The fact that the seafood was the most popular food for a lot of diners, more effort should be made to clear the tables of the left over shells and food scraps left on the table. We had to keep walking back with dirty dishes and hand them to the kitchen staff. However overall experience was positive.

Staff are really friendly, great location. Pumpkin soup was absolutely AMAZING, but everything else we felt was just standard. Indian food and pumpkin soup was definitely our favourite!

Less options for Vegetarians.. Mote inclined towards Seafood.. Had lunch on Sunday..Individual opinion but others may like it..
