Really enjoyed the fantastic selection of the buffet and the food was fresh and plentiful. The service was excellent and all staff were friendly and polite. I took my 14 year old grandson and we both enjoyed the evening very much. Will definitely come again.

Visited the restaurant for the first time. Enjoyed the quality of the food. Not much variety, but for Melba, it's about quality, not quantity.

Staff were attentive and the the male manager who greeted us was an absolute delight to speak to. He gave us a lovely surprise of complimentary chocolates after our meal for our anniversary. The fresh seafood and sashimi was great, though some of the hot food could do with some sophistication. Overall, oustanding customer service, fresh food and beautiful window views made our dining experience very enjoyable.

We went to Melba on recommendation for our 10th anniversary. Food was excellent, as was the selection and the service. I was disappointed by the cab sav which I ordered. But that might just be my taste. We enjoyed the occasion and Melba gets a big tick from us.

Great food and service. My partner got a complimentary small cupcake for his birthday.

Took my son for his birthday lunch. Food was generally good except the salad and dessert selection did not have the “wow”” factor

Cutlery was not replaced which is fine, but don’t take it away unless you have replacement available. Overall food and atmosphere amazing.

The food was great, the only issue was that it was sometimes hard to get service from staff while it was busy. So more floor staff would be helpful. Staff themselves were very attentive and performed well, considering how many tables they hadn't to manage.

We were a bit disappointed in the service waiting for drink service and the time we waited for them to be delivered and the clearing of the tables was not like it normally is. This was my 3rd visit this year and will return again as I really do love the atmosphere and the choice and quality of food. Also is it possible to have some lactose free foods on the menu as a guest had minimal choice from the dessert section. Overall we still had a fabulous time! 😃

Service was absolutely crap. No one bothered to take our drinks order and then just took the drinks menu away. Definitely seems like there are better places to go.

Negligent service, overcooked food, overcrowded, deafening atmosphere, low variety. Avoid......

Edward, the night manager from Aria bar, was the only shining light on the night, staff at Melba’s restaurant were all very sour, rude and abrupt. Nothing was explained when staff were asked a question regarding payment, fortunately Edward was there to listen to us and went above and beyond.

I have just celebrated my 50th birthday at the Melba restaurant and it was amazing. Exceeded expectations. Service was excellent. The little extra touches didn't go unnoticed. Relaxed atmosphere and the wide range of food was better than amazing. So so so great. Totally recommend the Melba and we will return.

It was our first time coming to Melba and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were especially impressed with the sushi bar and the naan station! The service was great and overall we enjoyed our time :)

Seafood not bad but rest just average for the price, no parking without paying, light $10 for 1 stubbie & 15 for glass of moscato over priced

Have been going to the Melba brasserie for >20 years when it was the Sheraton . The current owner /franchise ‘e is very average compared with previous operators , it’s a shame , has been the best buffet in Melbourne and we have converted all our friends .

We have used Melba as a meeting place by old work friends for 6 years. and we will be back again.

Good service, nice city views. Tables are a bit close together. Ample wine list. The staff are very professional.

Needs to berefurbished. Its too old and needs to be renovated. Food was average. Crown conservatory is much better

Food was excellent. The only negative thing I have to say is that the oysters were particularly difficult to eat due to the little shells in the oysters. I had to go to the bathroom to rinse my mouth to get rid of the shells.

Not worth the price we paid! The food was normal nothing special!

Regarding the noise levels, this was due to several young children being there, however this is all part of dinning out so it did not detract from the overall experience. Exceptional service, food and well everything. Cheers Mat Howell

Lovely venue for a delicious Sunday lunch. Excellent service, great view sitting at the windows, busy but no waiting for food. Favourite place to dine.

Staff were very helpful & friendly. The food was amazing, this was our third visit at Melba.

Enjoyed our lunch for four. Greeted and everything was explaned for us. Quality of food was superb.
