This is the 3rd year I have taken my family to lunch at The Langham on Christmas Eve and we all just love it and will be back next year. The food was exceptional today - everything seems to get better which I didn't think was possible. A big thank you for making our day such a wonderful experience. Margaret Huxtable

A very enjoyable experience with a great choice of good quality. Staff were very helpful after a mix up with our booking. (Apparently I booked 6.30 am instead of 6.30 pm. Never good with computers.)

Great service, excellent food, Richard (Chef) was superb in showing me around the restaurant about gluten free food and Stacy was efficient staff, always there for us if we need something on the table. This is a perfect place for us to celebrate our Christmas party at Melba Restaurant. I booked a bit late and I did not expected that we were able to get a table of 15 people in short notice. Great Job and Well Done

Staff were great. Desert selection wasn't. The area around our table didn't smell great. All other food and drink was very good

Great buffet breakfast. Surrounds okay - our table looked out over a roof, which could probably have been a bit more decorated with some plants or something. Staff could have been a little more attentive.

We have been dining at Melb’s for 20 years on the 17th December each and every year, we have observed a gradual decline in the dress code of the clientele and feel the decor could also do with some upgrading.

Fantastic food very fresh and tasty bit expensive, but we really enjoyed our night. Good atmosphere and Staff were were excellent. I do like my ice creams maybe a bit more variety in flavours. Will recommended to anyone.

Service was nowhere near on par with previous years. Food was disappointing when compared with previous years. Selection of desserts, free from allergens, also much less than previous years - two gluten free options which were bland and boring, the ‘fruit salad’ was actually jumps large lumps of rockmelon and honey dew melon - where were the beautiful summer fruits and berries? When we arrived we had pre-dinner drinks in Aria - had to ask a staff member to wipe down the seats as they were covered in food scraps.....not what I expect to find at The Langham

The variety of food was excellent and quality good. However Melba restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria, not the slightest bit intimate, noisy, too crowded

The price for the meal went up by around 40% from the time that we booked as they invoked Christmas prices without any indication or advice until we were paying after the meal.

Overall good,but disappointed that we were not notified about the price increase for Xmas. One lady in charge went above and beyond for our sick friend. Also pleased they honoured our price and waived our sick friends. Merry Christmas from the Sunbury ladies.

The food is amazing. There are Chinese,Italian, Indian, Japanese and seafood. The food court is not very big but very various enough. There are many ppl so the noise is loud but acceptable. The only thing I think is not friendly enough is there are not enough instruction for food, like for me I don't know what the difference of sauces and dressing is for. Overall the experience is amazing. Love it. Very suitable for friends party or family.

Always a pleasure coming here. I love to give this place as a gift to people when you cant think of anything else to buy them. From the front entrance to being seated at your table its a little luxury in your life that makes you smile.

I booked the table online but a man staff could not find my name and told us that the restaurant was fully booked. He told us to wait if the table is available he would let us know. Since waiting for a while, he didn’t get back to us. So I booked the table again while I was waiting a man staff and showed the phone to a girl staff. I got a table straight away. Anyway, the food was really good and fresh.

Food quality was excellent, however the service was mediocre with plates not cleared and water not topped up.

We had a delightful lunch. The staff were welcoming and the food was of high quality and quantity. I love long lunches and The Langhams Melba Restaurant is the epitome of that. Thanks for having us again.

Was a special occasion, my husbands 60birthday, which I notified the restaurant about - on previous occasions they have provided a small dessert or cake to add a special touch however there was nothing this time which was a bit disappointing.
