Nice and cosy, steady stream of customers without being over crowded. Much nicer when all food are prepared on site.
Our favourite Chinese Restaurant ! Great food , variety and value.
Good for me- fresh, friendly staff, not as congested, all dishes and yum cha dim sim made onsite! clean toilet . Eastland and Costco is just few km down the Wantirna road!
I like the atmosphere here compared to other yum cha restaurant. Spacious, just the right size, not noisy . Just right
relaxing dinner and prompt service good taste and choice on offer
I like the food there. They serve popular ones on trolleys, and others to be ordered. The ordered ones come out fresh and plentiful. Have been happy with them. Will continue to bring friends and family there.
I find the place pleasant. Free tea during weekdays! Even my friends think it's good. The popular yum cha dishes come in trollys. Other items can be ordered, eg deep fried octopus - yum and big servings. The 'chi cheong fun' is superb. They do not charge for using credit card! I am all for going back again! Clean toilet is a big plus
Was not impressed with this restaurant. Was the worst yum cha I have eaten. Service very poor as well. Will definitely not go back there.
survey Chinese food. clean and not too congested. hard to find the place as hidden by trees
just nice! not congested , clean toilets, Good meals and variety
Fat and juicy dumplings! We overestimated our hunger and underestimated the sizes of each dumpling. The food came out very fast and the servings were large and steaming hot!
The food was good for yum cha. Is a quiet restaurant, but acceptable food. Some dishes were not as good at other yum cha places. However the majority were quite good. The variety is not huge, but passable.
The taste is disappointing. We want to have a steamed fish although we have only 2 persons. The manager has no patient to answer the question when we ask for the size and price of fish.
Nice food and good services. My favorite yumcha place and variety dim sum to choose also reasonable price. Good to have friends or family meal there.
Great Yum Cha - fresh and plentiful food - lovely dumplings plus friendly service. Well priced and a great place to spend a pleasant Sunday morning.
Had yum cha for 6 pax. Had the wait about 20 mins for some items to be served despite repeated requests. Average quality and service. Pricing considered expensive. Not highly recommended.
We all enjoyed all of the courses ordered. Good that the courses were staggered. Staff were helpful and obliging when numbers booked were reduced and later than expected. Thanks for a good night
I and my family having a very good time good food friendly services at Mei Jing restaurant. Yum cha dishes are serving fresh and hot. We ll be back . Thank you .
I have been bringing may family here to eat for years, its the best Best Yum Cha in the area. Delicious food and excellent service every time.
Good service Tasty dishes. However, 1 would prefer that the dishes came out more slowly, rather than 4 or 5 arriving at the same time.
It was the first time we had tried this one. Great food and good value. A bit too eager on the table clearing the night we were there, but very nice meals and polite staff.
Friendly staff, cosy dining area, nice yum cha, reasonable price average AUD 25 per person, and easy to access the car parking area, close to the M3 Exit.
Dim sum are delicious. An excellent restaurant for family and friends gathering. However, servicing skills of some staffs are to be improved. Overall, well done.
Very friendly staff e.g wait for me to take photos of dim sum before cutting them for us to share, helpful in telling us what those dim sum are. Most of the dim sum taste good. To my surprise that apart from traditional dim sum, we found modified cute dim sum
Food was very good. For a restaurant of this nature meaning being a Fast flowing food service on wheels within a restaurant, the service was very good. staff were attentive and polite.
Very clean and nice decor, staff very friendly and efficient, and the food well Ihave been to Chinese restaurants over the last fifty years and Mei Jing is one of the "BEST" the food is very fresh, generous portions we will be making this restaurant our to go to....Wendy Jahn
Not enough variety at the same time..all fried foods 1st then steamed last. Some deserts in the middle of our yum cha dining time. It's changed a lot in the last few visits. And stuck in a corner with other tables of three people or less where food trolleys could not access trying to understand what the staff were saying was available.
The food is second to none. The service is great. Good value for the quality of the food. The honey prawns are divine and the Cantonese beef was superb.
Authentic Yum Cha & very friendly service. Very reasonable prices for fresh, quality food. A huge variety was offered & prompt filling of teapot! Can highly recommend.
Mei Jing is our go to Yum Cha restaurant. A fabulous range of well prepared dishes. The squid tentacles were a hit at our table.
Very large chinese restaurant in the suburbs. Seems to be popular for weekend yum cha. Like all yum cha places it's fast and furious and I wouldn't expect anything less.
Food is good. Good environment. The location is not so far from my house in Glen Waverley. I am hoping to come back to the restaurant again.
Great for kids and the food was all good. Only criticism was difficulty understanding the waiters and finding out all the options. Obviously will have to return to try new things.
Good customer service. Yum Cha lacked its usual variety which was dissapointing. Several dishes were served luke warm, almost cold. Perhaps we should have gone to the first sitting.
It was our first Yum cha at this restaurant and it won't be our last! We have had many Yum cha's over the years and this one rates among the best!!
Fantastic food, fresh, plenty to choose from. Staff were fast and happy to get whatever you wanted. All up great place for yum Cha. Yummo 10/10
It is very easy to book. Also it is very convenient without the hassle of waiting on the phone. Another plus is that you can book anytime even after hours.
Vary friendly and attentive staff, fabulous food, nice atmosphere. The restaurant has a nice buzz to it without being too noisy. Can highly recommend the satay beef vermicelli.
Waiting for the seat. Rush at serving, feel they're insisting the food to put on the table. taste oily on the fried food. Might have calculation to get around $20 per person.
Very tasty and varied dim sum for a very reasonable price. The service was good too: staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back again.
We arrived and the table was ready for us. The yam cha were great, everyone enjoyed. The staffs were very friendly! Definably will go there again.
The staff were friendly and courteous and attentive. Food was enjoyable and plenty of it. They good the time to explain the menu when queried about what was in the sauces and food. I would recommend Mei Jing to other people.
Good eating. Go there at once. Service was great. Good chinese atmosphere. Did not have to wait long for each course. Have a fun night
Good food. Plenty of Yum-Cha trays. Responsive staff. Nice and friendly manager. Always busy but great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely go there again.
I booked myself and my family for a later Yum Cha session thinking we would be able to spend quality time together over Christmas. Whilst the food was delicious, I found that the food came out too fast and seemingly all at once. After a mere 45 minutes the waiters started cleaning up signalling, and the food trolleys stopped coming. I would prefer to have a relaxed sitting rather than such.a rushed sitting. I will not be coming back, and will be recommending to my family to not come back either.
Great dim sum for lunch. Staff are friendly and welcoming, smiling all the time. Clean and spacious environment with a bright interior, will definitely visit again.
Online booking was easy and efficient. Just in case I called to make sure booking has been received and received immediate confirmation. Beats having to make a call when restaurant is opened.
Food was OK, service was woeful! Waiter was rude and ignored our multiple requests to place both beverage and food orders. Although we all ordered similar noodle dishes they did not come out together. We also felt very pressured to "leave now" once we had finished our meals despite our group wanting to chat and catch-up with each other. We decided our next catch-up will NOT be at MeiJing
Nice food.friendly,staff.tasty dishes .lamb too salty otherwise ok.have been here many times would recommend to friends.corkage is cheap and there is plenty of parking available
One of our favourite Chinese restaurants for many years. Went as a group of eight. Ordered eleven dishes to share from soups to mains. Really tasty food- each flavour of dish was different and stood out. Would recommend the Bbq pork with shichuan sauce-was the hit on our table. Good quantities as well. Price a little expensive - but it was worth it. Not your typical Chinese restaurant where your dishes are fully loaded with garlic, ginger & msg thank goodness! Dishes came out pretty quick after the order is placed. Only negative - maybe more staff is required especially on a Saturday night as the place was full so getting service needs a bit of patience. Book from before to avoid waiting in the line. Would I still go back -YES for sure!
