Food was ok, toilets were horrendously dirty!!! For a food place that’s not good!

Amazing Hellenic food . . . . . . .

Food was really good and really fast once we ordered. Restaurant was pretty empty when we got there and it took ages for them to take our drink order and food order.

Good Restaurant but a bit noisy. Would go there again .

We were offered an outside table if we were game as there was very good heating. Gave it a try and we had a glorious al fresco dinnerfresco a cold winter's night. Service was superb.

It was our second time at Meat Me and we had a fantastic experience both times. The servers are lovely, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is lively.

Food was delicious, although the pork skewers were a bit too pink. Wait staff were a bit stand of-ish and werent incredibly welcoming. Other than that, great lunch and great prices too.

We were very happy with our waiter. He was patient as we had to accomodate a baby with a pram and friendly whilst taking the orders of so many people. He did an exellent job!

The meal is delicious for Greek is delicious food is a wonderful place for 3 people. In Oakleigh is best place.

Food was good with fast service but restaurant too crowded and noisy

Service was outstanding. After a very recent accident I attended in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating in ensuring we had enough room and were comfortable. Food was outstanding. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

Food was good. The mezze dishes arrived quite promptly, but the mix grill platter was a bit of a wait. Waitress was visibly unimpressed when we ordered a mix grill platter for 3 people for a table of 10

we have celebrate my daughter's 18 birthday. The food was excellent and we wait a little bit for our drinks but overall great.

Love the food! 😍 The meat is great and so is the service, wish we could have a bit more salad but other than that, amazing!

We ordered and then waited close to an hour for our order to come and then it wasn't the right order very dissapointed wont be returning

Very nice food , but was quite busy and loud. Drinks were an average price and the coffee was excellent. Make sure you book a table.

food was tasty however most dishes were almost at room temperature. service was also slow with drinks hard to get and glasses not cleared at all. disappointing compared to past experiences, so maybe just a busier night than they expected for a Tuesday.

This is a great casual restaurant. Service was good, people were friendly and attentive. Good variety of food and the meat platter was great. Only issue is the gyros meats are cut to thin and small, but very tasty .

Very nice surroundings with very friendly and helpful staff, quick service and very good helpings. Strongly recommend meat me for anyone wanting good Greek food.

I've heard a lot about this place but 4 of us were very disappointed. I think the place has gotten too big and lost its ability to cook great greek food. How about less on volume and more on taste. Greeks are renowned for great souvlaki, Meat Me's is not as flavoursome as others and contains a lot of fat. Dry kababs and an ordinary greek salad. Service was a let down too, we had to keep getting the staff attention to get drinks. Plenty of food but not so good. They need to go back to mammas cooking style.

Family birthday dinner. Booked to cater for some specific needs of the group, ( ensured this was communicated through the booking) and was to do with access and extra space for baby pram) the staff had no idea of the requests, so I can only assume they did not read the booking . This made it impossible for my daughter to attend the birthday dinner. While I tired to work her and her partner through the issue, they sat In a car outside.The service was cold, unwelcoming and arrogant I tried to get the attention of the waiting staff.. No genuine attempt to assist, in fact the staffs response was to avoid us and any interaction with us. We sat in the far top corner of the restaurant for 30 mins furthest away from the entrance the entrance would have been the logically place to be seated so as to not disrupt other diners., as per my booking request. It was my 5th time at Meat Me this year and I have found the service and quality of the experience less each time. The must insulating aspect for us - we were a party of 7 - was that after 30 mins no one had served us or attempted to communicate with us. My daughter and new family stayed outside waiting the whole time. She has been somewhat traumatised by this as it was her first time going out after having twins, 3 months ago. Confidence a bit shattered. I indicated to the waiter again could I chat to him, he ran behind the cash resgister- so I followed him he was not interested. We left soon after, in 35 mins - no service, not even a drink, so no bill to settle. A most disappointing experience. Meat Me - an absolute poor experience for a loyal customer and one time supporter of this causal dining experience

great place for a luncheon, yummy food, not pricey at all, very generous portions, drink list okay, staff were very nice but not in your face

Food always good. Meat is lean and tasty and the portions are extremely generous. Has definitely become our No. 1 restaurant in the Greek precinct of Oakleigh for a hearty feed. Great value for money. Highly recommended

Nice staff. Very noisy though. Not the ideal place for a family catch up as we couldn’t talk with all the noise. Food was ok.

Services were good and fast. However, the meat platter is rather disappointing. Hardly any lamb but lots of chicken. Other dishes were good and tasty!
