Matsuzaka Teppanyaki

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. I think this is one of my all time favourite dining experiences.

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon and were so impressed that we came back again a few nights later. The service was so friendly and personal and the food was delicious, and the location/atmosphere are spot on.

I have been going to Matsuzaka's for a very long time. I used to go to here every sunday with my dad for lunch and have been going here for dinner and it's always a good time. Eddy is the same host, always lovely and the chefs all love their job which make the experience even better.

The staff are just so lovely, entertaining and accommodating. The food and the experience is just amazing. Our chef last night Gavin was fantastic! I recommend the Vanilla martini!

Always enjoy our visit to Matsuzaka. Delicious and tender steak, tasty prawns and fried rice. Great theatre and knife skills also. We will be back when we next visit GC.

Entertaining chef made our dinner at a barbecue plate in front of us. Waitress however, was unable to communicate in english, forgot to bring rice, a glass with the beer to mention a few , and did not pay attention to our needs. The food tasted very good.

Amazing welcome for first time patrons. Fantastic food. Beautiful ambiance as the interior of the restaurant is small and intimate. Outside tables are also welcoming. Next time. Our host, owner, was wonderful. Amazing service. Great night. I expected to pay more for the lovely experience.

Great good and great service. So much fun! I took two friends who had never been to a tepanyaki restaurant before and they're now hooked! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun and delicious evening out.

Value for money was good and service was impeccable. The two person banquet was more than enough. We had our son with us and everyone was so accommodating and warm. Will definitely be back!

We went for dinner with my family and really enjoy it! The chef’s show, the amazing fresh seafood and meat and the very friendly staff. This is definitely the best teppanyaki in the area. Must try!!!

We loved our whole experience @ Matsuzaka. Came here as a family of 3 with our young son and shared the “stage” with another family. The atmosphere was friendly, right from the warm welcome by the owner and through till the end. The chefs are very skilled and chatty and made this a great experience for the family. Even more importantly: the food was cooked to perfection with the beef coming medium rare as ord red plus prawn and chicken cooked to perfection. All ingredients super fresh. Loved it and will be back!

We had a really great time but unfortunately I got food poisoning :( Would definitely rate the place, was just upsetting that the first time ended up not so great. Food and experience at the time ess great though :) and service was really fun and friendly!!

My hubby and I dined at this restaurant last night.. it was at the last minute.. just got it from googling Teppanyaki restaurant on Gold Coast. Food was superb, chef Nathan was great and I would definitely return and recommend to anyone..

Food was (obviously) fresh, delicious and full of flavour. Chefs were both amazingly talented, and enjoyable to watch. Even my often fussy son ate every last vegetable and grain of rice on his plate. Great night.
