Some things are done well but there were items in the bento boxes that seemed pre prepared and refrigerated (not fresh) eg California rolls.

Thanks so much for being open in these weird times. You were our first dinne routing in several months. We had such a wonderful time ordering way too much food and gorged ourselves on the shabu-shabu which was amazing. Special thanks to your staff for being great and super friendly and being on the front lines.

Our first time back for lunch since lock down. Excellent food and service as always but We were also very impressed with their Social distancing sanitising and for implementing all Things to keep their patrons safe during this time. Well done! Keep up the good work.

Despite a quiet and dim atmosphere, we enjoyed our sushi boat for two.

Food was fantastic, service good, but as in any busy restaurant it was noisy.

Booked for 7.30pm. Table ready almost immediately even when it was packed. Food came progressively, quite efficient until the last course. Waited a bit too long, but acceptable considering the restaurant was packed.

It was the second time visiting Matsumoto. Love the food and service. Will definitely be back though is a bit far for us.

They were really busy and the wheels started to fall off but we still love it.

The food is always good, the service was a little slow on sunday night but not a hugh imposition.

Aburi salmon was tasty, tuna sushi was thick and not overly fresh, salmon sushi was nice. Agedashi tofu wasn't silken, gyoza was really doughy and thick. Takoyaki was good though. Overall, not great.
