Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and mouth watering food. Dessert is worth ending off with so save room. Will definitely be back as was really impressed!!

Soooo delicious and the best service! The food is so different- it satisfies the Italian food cravings but creative so it is in a league of its own from other pasta vendors.

Too cramped- the tables were so close together I could hardly squeeze into my seat. Too noisy- the echo on a Saturday night is deafening! Drinks list is very comprehensive- best range of Aperol Spritz (and variations) I have seen outside Milan. Food is not bad either.

Very noisy and squishy. Be prepared to get to know your fellow diners intimately! Pasta was great, entrees hit & miss as was service. Not great value $400 for 2 entree, 4 pasta, 1 salad & 8 drinks. Also note location is quite isolated, well away from the bars of Surry Hills.

Amazing place to eat, vegan friendly. Really great tasting pasta. All dishes are fantastic, all very mindfully created. Vince and team are very friendly and attentive.

If you are vegan you need to come here. The two speciality pastas are incredible. All the staff are wonderful people. Drinks are tasty. Get it.

Fun resturant with a creative menu. We enjoyed the food especially the pastas (and the spritz) It is noisy and would benefit from an acoustic intervention.

Great atmosphere! The owner, Vince, personally greeted everybody in the restaurant to ensure everything was up to scratch. My main was the swimmer crab tagliatelle and as soon as it was put in front of me I knew i'd made a good call, but at that restaurant you look around and everything looks amazing!

In my opinion slight overpriced for the food. Small glasses of wine and weak cocktails (full of ice). Good atmosphere and meet and greet with owners a nice touch.

Vinny was amazing and personally introduced himself to us. He also gave us a complimentary mini drink after dessert which was such a nice touch. The food was really good, a tad on the pricey side but really good quality so it didn't bother me much.

Charming and efficient service (including a warm welcome from the owner); exquisite, beautifully presented, creative vegan food. It was worth it just for the vegan egg.

Amazing service, the newest waitress had phenomenal charisma and banter. The food was to die for, as well as the signature cocktails being absolutely delicious.

Had a great time at Mark & Vinnys! Vinny was adorable in that we were personally greeted with a handshake. Really enjoyed the environment. I had the Semolina Pappardelle which was enjoyable, but wasn't out of the box. Will defiantly go again.

Cool little place, with great food and a number of lovely quality touches, from the welcome and handshake at the door, to the copper cutlery. Nice mix of vegan and non-vegan dishes means it's a place everyone can enjoy.

Electricity kept going out. Restaurant was cold. Some food didn't arrive. Crab spaghetti was offensively fishy. Tables were squeezed next to each other that your ass was touching the table next to you to get in and out of the booth. No privacy with the tables so close. Restaurant was extremely loud with no soft features to absorb the noise. Noise just bounced off the walls.

Everything about our experience was sublime right from the moment we walked in and were greeted by Vinny's genuine, warm welcome. Lovely staff, awesome food.

We really loved our dinner at Mark & Vinny's on Friday night. The pasta was delicious, we all tried a different one off the menu and were all really impressed. The staff were attentive and friendly, and very welcoming. We'll definitely be back for a spritz or two!

Amazing food! The pastas were next level! We had the 2 vegan pastas and the desserts and all was amazing, including the drinks, the atmosphere and the service. The only thing that would have made it better is if everything was vegan! But I foresee Mark and Vinnys to be the next Gigis and go all plant based soon! :)

Nice and cozy place. We ordered meat balls (not very much impressive), beetroot spaghetti (my companion never likes beetroot but this one really went beyond her expectation) and charcoal bucatini (with zucchini noodles, which is one thing I love about this restaurant). Probably one of the best spaghetti spots I've ever been. The sauce was just great. Unfortunately they don't serve blue spirulina tagilatelle during Friday lunchtime (the one we went there for). Gotta try it another time.

Mark personally greeted us once seated and all wait staff were very attentive. Food was marvellous, especially the Beetroot Spaghettini! We wish we could have tried all the Spritz available.

Good good and good vibe! Especially good service by the owner themselves! Interesting desserts but it could have been better if crust of ravioli is thinner. :)

The restaurant is small, cute and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Vinny was especially helpful explaining the different options on the menu. The dishes were inventive, fun and good.

The vegan options on the menu are absolutely delicious and so realistic, especially if you, like me, loved a cheesy eggy pasta in your pre-vegan days. Will definitely be back!!

Delicious food! Vegan options were amazing, very filling and didn’t feel like a compromise! Drinks were delicious, a little expensive but who cares. Apple pie dessert was perfect as well. Definitely coming back!

The food alone makes this place, the drinks, good vibe and great staff bonus. Even if you're not vegan the vegan pasta dish is a must try. Spritz list - you could spend quite sometime here My only draw back is the set table times, will book a later table next time to enjoy for longer Honestly, fave new spot in Surry to eat

Quite apart from Vinnie & Mark (who are divine & wonderful hosts) the food, drinks and service were faultless. Vegan options are SO good & the vegan egg yolk for the vegan ‘carbonara’ is just magic! Will be back for sure. Ohhh & the ‘No-tella’ vegan dessert was incredible. Enough gushing from me - check it out for yourself.

Food was fantastic, Spritzers were fantastic. Only downfall was overly enthusiastic service, which made our table of 4 feel a bit rushed and a pressing for tip on an already decent bill. Overall, worth it for the array of drinks and delicious pasta.

Food was really yummy! I had two limoncello spritz and one was delicious and the other was way too strong! (A little inconsistent with their drinks)

The atmosphere was so lovely, completely unparalleled - the owner greets you at the door (and farewells you also!) which is such a kind gesture - the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly and the service was so quick and comprehensive. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely divine - cooked al dente just right, there's plenty of vegan options which is very refreshing, and the desserts and spritzes were so crafty and delicious

Awesome spritz, amazing pasta - particularly the vegan options, lovely service, definitely a top spot for dinner. Service can be a little slow but charming none the less.
