Mark and Vinny’s - Spaghetti & Spritz

Such a lovely place. Food was delicious. Drinks were tasty. Not overly expensive and such a great staff who were very attentive. Def recommenced. 6 stars

Very cozy restaurant with fantastic pasta & aperol spritz! Friendly owner who took great care of us. The only reason this isn’t a full score is you aren’t served bread upon arrival (which I think you should be in any genuine Italian restaurant) and the menu is rather short, missing a few more options.

Unreal food every, single time. Delicious specials, creative, gorgeous interior, fab staff and the perfect place for vegans and non vegans. Ten outta ten would recommend any day of the week.

The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful but the food was not good at all. Annoying because it has the potential to be a really fantastic restaurant.

Outstanding service! This restaurant has the most amazing food, super healthy and possibly the best gnocchi I have ever had! There are so many yummy things on the menu it’s hard to choose and have I mentioned the cocktails, heaven!

As always, our experience at Mark & Vinny’s was A delight. Greeted by Vince himself, cocktails came out as quickly as they were consumed and the food was on point! Delicious as to be expected! We will continue to dine here for many years to come, and recommend it to all of our friends and family!

Style over substance. If you want a cool place to sit and drink spritzers then great...if you are looking for really amazing food that lives up to how it looks...then not the place for you. Overall it was good not great.

I loved everything but the vegan lasagna and the vegn nutella ravioli... out of this world! Please try it all next time you go! And say Ciao to Vince :)

Excellent and delicious! The zucchini flowers, burrata and meatballs were super tasty, the service was welcoming and the spritzes were perfect. Can't wait to come back soon.

Gorgeous Friday evening spent in Mark & Vinnies. Located a little bit off the track but its a hidden gem. A real girly treat with your girlfriends. Food, cocktails and venue are very insta friendly for those who love pics. Blue swimmer crab tagliatelle is delicious along with the arichini balls, yummy ! Spritz cocktails are great too. Staff all very friendly and attentive

Outstanding dinner! Innovative cuisine with a healthy Italian authenticity. Highly recommend the spaghetti and meatballs main dish with the zucchini spaghetti option for pasta substitute!

Delicious food, for carnivores and vegos alike. Our favorite was the bucatini, but everything we tried was a hit. The massively fun vibe takes this place to the top!

Fabulous food (would suggest the vegan bruschetta) and I’m not even vegan. This place definately lives up to all the great reviews, it’s a must eat kind of place in surry hills! Service was great as well very attentive staff

Great service very accommodating to needs. Enjoyable food however the Spritz was very watered down maybe due to too much ice or not enough spirits. Very noisy for a small restaurant.

Service was a little bit slow, but the ragú pasta and the tiramisù were very good. Kind restaurant in a nice neighborhood. It was a good dinner.

Such a nice restaurant! The owner greets you at the door and shakes your hand before seating you. The venue is small and intimate with great lighting and design. The food is incredible with a variety of vegan and non vegan options on almost every dish. Would highly recommend going!

Love vinny! met him upon entry last night what an excellent restaurant owner! he is an example of how all owners should be! Although, it was very cramped for our party i felt bad for my friend constantly had to keep moving for the people who sat next to us that kept going to the toilet ! But with that being said food was incredible and the spritz was even more better! we visited as spaghetti and spritz was our go to in europe 6 months ago and we thought we would go to mark and vinnys to relive that, so thank you for the experience vinny! we loved it !

Mark and Vinny's is super atmospheric, with Sinatra's famous lyric in neon and cosy seating arrangements it looks and feels like the type of Italian restaurant where a good night takes place. With the friendly Vinny/Mark acting as a maître d′ of the evening assisting with drink order and asking if we wanted chilli oil for our meals which was a lovely touch. It was the hype around M&V that prompted a booking for group of 5 for a weekday catch up. We ordered a variety of dishes off the menu that was very experimental food with a vegetarian or vegan focus. We missed seeing a traditional Spaghetti bolognese or no alternative option to have a cow cheese rather than the vegan cheese paired with the bruschetta on the menu. But were impressed with the variety of spritz to choose from that were super refreshing. Super creative menu with gluten free options and chef specials but very limited meat options for non-vegos and dessert options are small. We were a bit disappointed in the way staff didn't describe the chef specials it was just left for us to suss out on our own without any guidance, there was a 20 minute wait in between entree and mains, and again staff were a bit rude in how they asked us to leave (or lackthereof asking) just bill on the table with our servings of dessert and 2 minutes later a card machine appeared. There was an extremely awkward moment when a waitress was in a hurry to move us along for the next sitting that our dessert was taken away half eaten. Not in a hurry to go back but the hype drew us in.

Always a great experience going to Mark and Vinnys! Vince is such a wonderful host. We started with the burrata which was delicious then tried to beetroot spaghetti which was also tasty!

Spritzer was great, ginger beer cider was good. Entre delicious and dessert was very tasty. Cutlery was unusual and a nice touch. Table proximity very cosie.

As always, an amazing dinner with Vince & his exemplary team. The food is fabulous, the flavors innovative and sublime. The cocktails are delicious too.

LOVE THE VEGAN OPTIONS! Exciting vegan dishes, more than one option, unlike other places that offer just a single substitute of what's on the menu. My pasta dish even came with dairy-free parmesan. Also, great cocktails!

I don’t usually order vegan , ordered the vegan lasagne , charcoal bucatini and spaghetti with eggplant balls and it was all amazing the service was friendly and attentive and desserts were delicious. Especially the apple pie with salted caramel ice cream. Definitely 6 stars

The vegan pasta and eggplant balls exceptional, service spot on and friendly, warm welcoming environment and awesome vegan menu and wine selection. Only downfall is the price, costs a lot especially for the portion sizes but then the menu is creative and the chefs are clearly talented so that's reflected in the prices I guess. The dessert I think it was overcooked but my partner enjoyed it, so difference of opinion. Will definitely be back!

The restaurant was buzzing and vibrant, I almost felt like we were overseas in another country! We didn’t mind the noise but some people might. The high ceilings and beautiful interiors make up for it.

The service was excellent, the spaghetti tasted nice but was possibly a little warm and not hot enough and the spritz has included a lot of different options which catored to everyone. Overall a good experience.
