Amazing food, amazing service (although the waitress wasn't great this time, the rest of the staff made up for it), we love this place and will keep going there, this is next level yummy, way above what you might think or expect, go check it out, it will get a Michelin star one day soon...

Spaghetti and gnocchi was delicious. The home made chilli sauce is amazing. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a lovely homely and authentic vibe.

At first I was a little disappointed we were sitting outside as it was cool winter’s night. But we were sat under a heater and armed with blankets it turned out to be really quite nice! Food was incredible. And I’m definitely going back!! Again and again.

Great food, slack service. Loved the $65 deal for Friday lunches but service was extremely slow and more concerned with drying dishes then asking for our order

Food exceeds high expectations, price is fair and staff is friendly. I'll definitely become a regular. Chefs are doing an amazing job cooking that superb food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The only weakness of that place is the noise. Since is a small place with high walls, the noise is too loud, but the food compensates the noise.

Slow service, salty food and noisy space would not recommend or return to anyone. Pasta was interesting and liked organic wine list but this restaurant does not cut it in the competitive Sydney market

In short, great service, excellent food & a fantastic vibe! The staff took the time to introduce themselves, the food was quick and delicious and the music was on point! An excellent night out.

Don't go for the unlimited spritz. Better off drinking wine as was half way through main when they came to get our second drink.. The pasta will continue to expand with all the spritz soda:)

Great spritzers, appetisers and delicious pasta - to devour on your own, or to share. Took clients for a relaxed Friday lunch and was enjoyed by all, buoyed by great food and service.

The variety of food and drink on offer made the dining experience very enjoyable. Authentic pasta and even better service. Would definently go back again !!

Such a good time! The food was excellent and the service was great. We were definitely not upsetti, we were very happy with our spaghetti!

Unfortunately on the night we went it seemed like the staff were really under the pump. The restaurant was packed, with some chairs almost blocking the doorway, and the atmosphere felt stressed. The waitstaff did their best to keep on top of things, but despite having a specific server for our table, we were often interrupted by other people trying to give us drinks we hadn't ordered, or trying to take orders that had already been taken. The drinks were outstanding and we would have had more if they weren't so busy, and the food was nice. I can see how this place would be really great, however it was disappointing that it wasn't for us on that particular evening.

Feels very crammed in such a small space, and very loud with large groups inside- but the food and the service was fantastic. Favourite dish was the macaruni with beef rib ragu

Amazing atmosphere, incredible drinks and food and very personal service. Only downside was the time it took to be served. But everything else was PERFECT so the wait was well worth it when seated

From the moment we walked in the service was immaculate and the food and spritz could not be faulted. This may have been our first time at Mark & Viny's but it will certainly not be our last.

Hi, The food and service was lovely but we were sat right next to the door which kept opening and being kept open by some patrons and the draft was incredibly cold. Unfortunately that was my key take-away from what would otherwise have been a great experience.

Mark was on the floor attending to customers, and my goodness did that add a personal touch! It’s a relatively small venue, still bustling and lively. Excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT drinks, and pasta to suit every persons tastes! Such a pleasure to be there, will be back again. And you MUST try the Tiramisu Espresso Martini!!!

Food and service was great, however with the cramped seating the atmosphere can be a little uncomfortable rubbing shoulders with neighbors - just a problem with being so popular!

Everything was wonderful and Vince was a wonderful host! We did book for 6 people however and the table was a 5 seater so we had to all squeeze in but other than that everything was great and the food was beautiful!

The food was very delicious and flavoured well. We had the zucchini flowers, gnocchi and ragu. The fresh pasta was cooked just right. Service was great! Also... who could say no to a whole menu dedicated to spritz?! Will definitely come back!!

We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Mark and Vinny’s Spaghetti and Spritz!! The selection of spritzes was amazing and we made sure to each have a different one to enjoy a taste of several! The bruschetta was so yummy that we ordered a second serving! Our entrees were excellent as well, including the beetroot spaghetti, Blue Spiulina Tagliatelle, and Semolina Pappardelle! They offer gluten free options and vegan/vegetarian options as well. We were on holiday from the USA and we will be sure to return to Mark and Vinny’s the next time we are in Sydney! Thank you to the staff and owners for a great evening and decadent meal!

This is one of the best restaurants in Sydney I've been to. Excellent kitchen, interesting concept, beautiful coctails. Perfect for all the occasions. 100% recommendation!

The service was absolutely wonderful, the owner (I assume) was incredibly welcoming and even gave us complimentary homemade digestive shot/liquor at the end of our meal. The food was delightful, and fantastic quality. The atmosphere was super cool and very unique. Highly recommend !

Food and cocktails were delish. I loved the gnocchi, crab tagliatelli and the mushroom spaghetti. Dessert was delish. Make sure to reserve ahead and be aware of the 90 min. seating limit.

What an amazing dining experience! We were welcomed by the owners on arriving with a "We're so glad you're here" The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would recommend Mark and Vinny's to anyone and I will most definitely be back!

The food was exceptional. Amazing take on Italian food. Deserts are a must. Chilli home made and hot. Pasta extraordinary. A too noisy but great.

Great food and fun experience, will definitely return! There’s lots of options so it was easy to cater to everyone’s dietary requirements and preferences. The owner was very friendly and really made an effort to ensure guests enjoy their meal/experience.

Great service, loved the atmosphere. Zucchini Flowers and Bruschetta was delicious. All three pasta dishes we had were tasty but a bit heavy with olive oil. We didn’t each much of the fried cauliflower side dish as it was a burst of oil in the mouth when biting into it.

I came here to try the blue majik pasta after seeing it on a social media food blog. Ordered Burrata, beetroot spaghetti, blue spirulina and spritz cake, plus two spritzs. The entree - Burratta was the best part of the meal. The flavours were good and very well balanced. The blue spirulina delivered what was expected. The beetroot spaghetti tasted ok, however I feel there were not enough ingredients on the plate to make it a complete dish. Not counting the sauces, what you get is only two elements - spaghetti and mushroom, which was quite boring. If you want some freshness you have to order sides which add another $10-$23 on top. For a $26 dish I feel there should be more, as the food portion was not big as well. The cake and the watermelon spritz were quite sour, I didn't really enjoy them. The cake cost $18, only had 3 elements and was not tasty. At this price there are many desserts out there that look and taste so much better. The blue spritz - they charged me $22 while I remembered the price was $20 and I just checked the menu on their webiste it still says $20. Overall it is quite pricey - $132 for 2 people and not a satisfying meal. This place really knows how to make profit - encouraging you to order sides, asking for tips, 1.8% credit card surcharges, and - overcharging their customer on drinks. Disappointed.

Efficient, generous and funloving staff! Food beautiful for both eyes and taste. Try the ravioli dessert with coco ice cream, beautiful! It gets loud since it’s a small space, but lovely atmosphere makes it worth it!

Great food and nice staff but disorganised service. We were asked by multiple staff if we had ordered. I was annoyed that we had to pay for extra bread for the dips. They forgot to bring my wine. We were seated in a draft by the front door and they did eventually move us but that table was horribly cold. Nice touch with the Aperol at the end.

I really enjoyed the food at Mark & Vinny's! The staff were very attentive and the restaurant was cosy. My only complaint is how squished together all the tables were. We were a group of 2 on a table of 4 sharing with another random group almost touching shoulders. It was a bit close for comfort & made chatting to my partner a little awkward. I'll definitely be back when the weather warms up and I can sit outside with a bit more space :)

Cosy Surry Hills restaurant with amazing food and fantastic service, loved the fresh blue tagliatelle with crab. We will definitely be back soon for another great dinner.

Mark and Vinny’s has great food and atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. Extensive spritz and cocktails menu. Can be noisy so not for intimate dinners.
