We went to the iftar buffet. It was not really a buffet cause there were two main dishes options and the rest were all sides. Food was alright

Possibly the best food you can have out in Melbourne if you're after authentic Middle Eastern cuisine at a Halal restaurant. I have been here a few times and honestly cannot speak highly enough of the staff, the quality of the food and the ambience. Don't worry about going elsewhere!

Front of Staff refused for something which was very simple

It was overall quite pleasant, the staff make you welcome and accommodate as much as they can, with a smile. Its quite heavily protein and rice based which we were trying to avoid and try other things from Yemen. The Shakshooka was ok and the sizzling mandi was not bad, nice and moist and pulled apart easily. The salad accompanying the Mandi was really fresh and had a delightful dressing with great balance. The chips were morbid and dry. I may visit again next time to have the rice based Mandi or get one of their recommended platters.

Really shit customer service we booked table 8:30 food came at 10:30pm never going back there

We had best experience of our life. The treatment of the the staff was beyond our expectations. Even we got late more than 30 minutes from our booking, they kept reserve our Majlis area and did not let sit anyone else. Food was awesome. Our children enjoyed sitting area and food too. Thanks Mandina kitchen staff. We strongly recommend others to go and make your day best.

Trying to replace the table to floor seats they say call manger his not here try to order the food the saying we don’t serve that menu that’s old you should remove from menus looks good on there website We were ask about the food they had no idea what was made of

So we reserved a table I called and told them we would be late but I was on my way. When I arrived I was told my table was gone and had to sit outside. Food was average no soup or chutney as pictured. Definitely won’t go back

Food was good but service on that day was terrible. The restaurant was not up to dealing with that many diners. I booked a baby chair but on arrival there was none available as they only had 2! Had to wait for more than half an hour for the food to arrive. One of our orders was not available and I understand as it was full house and there were people still waiting around for tables. A lot a people complained about the long wait for their food especially those with children who had been waiting for more than an hour for the food! I really pity the staff and owner as I reckon they must be short staffed in the kitchen and had to deal with so many unhappy diners and they even ran out of some food. I think a family just walked out and refused to pay after eating and waiting for so long and a few of their orders were not available.

Very ordinary - both atmosphere & food. Will not return
