Meal was extremely pleasing & well priced. Quick service . Extensive menu that would satisfy all tastes. Would definitely recommend the malvernvale to friends & family.

Steak night is always busy but didn’t disappoint, rump always good but best to order rare if you like M/rare. Great family buzz and decent pub food . My tip is to book!

Good service, good atmosphere. Wide range of food on the menu from quick light meals through pizza to regular pub fare. I'm sorry that lamb cutlets no longer available.

I really like the Malvernvale, the food is really good and on Friday nights the atmosphere is amazing. On this visit we both had pasta: I had the amatriciana and my partner had the prawn and scallop penne. Both delicious (except for an excess of cheese which was promptly removed).

We had the $20 steak deal which was fantastic. Beautifully cooked tender rump steak, great chips and salad. Good service and not long to wait for our food. Comfortable chairs. Lovely atmosphere at this very popular pub bistro.

When we arrived we were seated next to the door with cold draft coming in every time someone entered through main door. There were several empty tables away from door so this was disappointing. We asked to be moved as were cold which was taken care of pretty quickly. We all enjoyed our meals.

Good for early dinner with kids. Easy to order food and drinks up at the bar. Attentive staff. Food is great value for kids, $8 for dinner and then ice cream!

We got the booth we requested, but it seems that it was only allocated when I rang to advise that we had an additional guest. Also, the starter we ordered came at the same time as the main meal. Apart from those two minor points, we enjoyed the evening and our guests all enjoyed their meals.

Never had a bad meal there - and I've had more than a few. Always a loaded plate and reasonably priced. Sometimes a bit noisy if the meals area is packed but that's no reason not to go.

We went for $20.00 steak night and all of us had the steak. Great value and good portion size. Friendly service. Only downfall was that it was extremely bright in there.

Went Saturday night. Very busy. Female staff working their fingers off. Young boys, too cool to serve. Very noisy. Food okay price okay. Just two noisy and the queue was too slow.

I lovely open fire, homemade tomato soup. Perfect for winter. Relaxed atmosphere and not crowded today. Comfortable seating. Great menu. A challenge to find parking but ok in the end.

We regularly meet with friends to share a meal. The quality and tastiness of the meals seems to be 'pot luck' as to who is in the kitchen. Last Saturday, one of our party told staff the veal was dreadful. Two of us had the chicken breast with vegetables. The sauce for this was supposedly rosemary flavoured but the chicken was drenched in it and it was completely tasteless. Management should completely review the menu as they are trying to present too many options which is resulting in a very hit and miss experience. Such a shame as it is a nice venue and pleasant environment and friendly staff. Why not completely review the menu? Do less and do it well. Suggest having several good pub 'standards' and then a few seasonal well chosen mains. A few good simple pastas and quality sides. Have some pride in your establishment by not settling for very ordinary. Why do I want to go out and pay for very average tasteless food when I can cook much better at home???

Another great meal! Loved the flounder and also tried the Ocotpus which was delicious for a starter. Great service from the staff at the Malvernvale as well.

We went on steak night and I had the porterhouse which was cooked as requested and a good cut..great value at $20. The bar service is friendly and efficient. I found the sticky date pudding a little disappointing, more like a muffin with some sauce on the side.

The Malvernvale is our go to place for a counter meal on a friday night. Service is great, food is satisfactory and we always enjoy ourselves.

Absolutely love this place. A fantastic range of food on the menu. The food is always cooked to perfection. Great value for money, friendly atmosphere and the staff are always exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our favourite place for dining. 5 star

It was really good serves we got our food really fast and the waitress were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and we got what we paid for.

Food was ok. Not brilliant. Just ok. Service was good and quick. Facilities were good. Needs a dust and light globes changed over! It’s my new local.

Good standard pub food. Timing on the meals left us disappointed though. 20mins between the first of group being served their main and the last. The biggest issue being that the last meal to arrive was for the youngest in the family.

Pork cutlet was delicious and great kids spag bol. Chef was also happy to make plain steamed veggies. Not too busy so food arrived quickly.

The newly renovations of the dining area is brilliant. A large selection on menu but the meals are huge . I wish staff would not clear tables until everyone has finished their meal on the table . A pet hate and service 101.

Unfortunately food was very dry (pork dish and beef Wellington). Duck dish was okay but nothing special. Staff polite. Expensive for what was a disappointing pub meal.

Good value, good service. wide ranging menu. Drinks reasonably priced with good range of wine. Happy atmosphere. Will go again. Easy to park on site.
