Great food, drinks and ambiance. Staff are also friendly and helpful.

3 of us went for the $60 banquet. It was very light on. 2 small starters, 2 mains, rice, roti and some greens for $180. Reckon lucky to be $110-$120 worth. Food was nice though.

Service wasn't up to scratch. Had to wait for a long time to be asked if we even wanted a drink.

Excellent and delicious as always. Had the son in law eggs. Highly recommend them.

Haven’t been since it opened. Still going strong! Even better than I remember.

My partner and I had been back a numerous of time with other group of people, and MMS services and foods has never been disappointing. however, the level of music background can be a little excessive and last night, we had to asked to be relocated and even then, we're still tend to repeat our self with in the group a numerous of time due to the background music level.

The food was excellent as usual, the lack of service was embarrassing. We will reconsider returning this time.

Hard to talk over dinner, music was bit loud. Food was overpriced for what it was. Good vibe and decor. Nice drinks.

Everything was good, service was a little slow and hard to get staff attention. Desserts were not great, ordered 3 and rejected 2 of them. Crepe Cake was good. Big portions but for the price it's justifiable.

Went for the bottomless brunch - would've appreciated at least two extra courses for the size they were serving at, or larger portions altogether!

Staff excellent , most food good. Too loud. Wasn’t busy and placed us near entry door which meant people on that side freezing.

Lovely meals although the popcorn chicken was spicier than anticipated. A simplified lunch-time menu included with the full menu would be helpful.

The food was amazing except we got hair in our roti. When we told the waiter, the manager tried to put in on us first before saying she would give us '10% off' on the dish for the inconvenience. She eventually realised how pathetic it sounded and decided to take it off the bill. We had the most rude server ever. She was very incompetent. She kept interrupting us, mixed up our order/bill, said the most rudest things and kept saying 'no' when we asked for something before actually giving it to us. I think she was trying to be funny but just failed miserably. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunate how the experience was ruined by a couple of people.

Food was good, but poor experience with the host left a sour taste.

When u walk up to the restaurant there is no name on the building... just a. Emblem. It is extremely noisy. No one greeted us for 5 mins. We had to go up several small sets Of stairs and were seated in a very small corner of a cafe . It was awful.we asked to be moved and the girl told us to go back down and we would be given another table . She was quite unfriendly.... only to then find we had to Go back up again to go to the bathroom. We ordered with assistance of Liz the waitress . Food cane out quite quickly. Espresso Martinis were served in 1970s very small martini glasses .. very small at a large price. Liz tried to take the glass away before I had finished the foam ..... I also had to tell her to leave the plate of one dish as I wanna still mopping up the sauce . One dish never arrived despite asking if there was more to come but we were still charged for it. This was subsequently removed from the bill. The fried ribs were completely u seasoned despite there being loads of flavours mentioned in the menu... it was simply kFC served with sweet chilli sauce.... unbelievably disappointing. Other dishes were good and full of favour. Very disappointing. Would not go back .

The restaurant nearly empty at lunch but still I had great difficulty attracting a waiter for service. Needed to ask twice for tea and coffee then again to pay the bill. A shame, we loved the food and would have rated our time as excellent.

Oh, I hope it was just a bad night for all. We had a booking, when we got there we were sat by the door. Four steps in we were seated, coldest night in Melbourne to date, not a pleasant spot for someone who did not just walk in and ask if any seats were available. Asked to move, we had an early booking, restaurant was pretty sparsely occupied . After two requests, we were moved and then told in no uncertain terms to be out in two hours - we already knew that - but thanks. I just wanted it to be good from there - but my trout when it was served was raw, except for a thin layer of poaching - couldn't pull it apart to eat. Had to say something. Ordered something else, it was fine, but my husband was done dining by then - so he ordered another glass of wine - it never came. At the end of the night, I think being served a raw meal and a forgotten wine would have at least given us a 10% discount on the evening. But no, so we paid and left and felt bad about a night that should have been lovely. Will not recommend or go again.

The brunch food was good but we wanted to order from the a la carte lunch menu and we were told that we couldn’t until 1 pm. There was nothing on website which said this.

Food is always amazing here (and nicely spicy) and the service is great.

Food so good but don’t like how breakfast goes till 1.00pm and only option to eat as lunch not served till after 1.00pm
