Magic Mountain Saloon

Came for dessert only. A good experience. We ordered 2 desserts and they mistakenly brought us one wrong one, so they brought us the correct one and allowed us to keep the wrong one. All were enjoyable. Would love to come back for a meal one day.

Loved the restaurant, as always - service slower than normal but amazing food - love the atmosphere and everything about Magic Mountain. We will be back.

The food was excellent but it was super noisy. It was like eating in a nightclub. They also squeezed 7 of us in a booth which realistically would fit 5. I would go back for lunch, but not for dinner.

Magic mountain saloon has a Highly energetic atmosphere. Staff were friendly, attentive, with great food/menu knowledge and not unnecessarily pushing menu items. Food was delicious.

Great atmosphere, very good service and nice food. A little loud after 8pm so hard to have a conversation but very pleasant experience overall. Would go again.

Amazing service, our waitress was fantastic that helped pick our way through spice levels and accomodate our 7yo. Food was great, lamb cutlets and popcorn chicken BOG !

Understand its friday night but forgettig our drinks and very long wait for food is really poor service. My normal martini didnt even come in a martini glass but a very small port glass and was told its the same!? There are plenty of good restaurant in melbourne definitely not going back again! Just too loud cant hear a thing!

Interesting combinations but generous serving size. We ordered 2 combo meals but one would have been enough between the two of us for breakfast. Ocean trout & sticky pork - ocean trout was light whilst the sticky pork was a little heavier but both had lots of flavour & enjoyable.

Disappointing as I have been here a few times and had really good experiences. This time I had arranged the meal for my international CEO so I was hoping that it would be a good experience. Food was great, in saying that the food we received. It was a mix between what was available on the night and what the servers remembered to bring for us. Same story with the drinks. Ordered two glasses of Chablis and received a bottle, drinks ordered that were first were delivered last after reminding staff. Based on this experience sadly I will not be rushing back.

I often go here for the delicious food and cocktails and fun/cheeky staff, but the music is usually too loud to have a decent conversation

Too loud for a dinner setting nd service wasn't attentive enough, had to continually ask for cutlery, bowls to eat with and our rice to accompany our mains arrived just as we finished. All a pity as food was delicious

Yum! Service took a little while but food was with it. We had the fish and tofu and mushroom stir fry with rice. Super delicious!

The food was delicious. The service was great and whilst I didn't mention when we ordered we had a show to go to, as soon as I did mention it they made sure our food came out promptly and we were able to make our time slot.

I'm torn between 3 & 4 stars - calamari, scotch egg and betel leaf salmon was great; jerky could have been either more jerky or shredded beef-like but was somewhere in the middle. I don't think it helped that we were seated around the corner so were a bit forgotten. Loved the space and most of the food though, so will probably be back.

I always love this place. Staff relaxed and friendly, great cocktails and amazing food. We always seem to be able to get a table even if we haven't booked. Definitely a "feel good" place!!

Outstanding as always! We took a friend from the UK and they absolutely loved it and said I wish we could get food like this back home. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious! Cocktails were to die for and the service was amazing!!!!!!! The atmosphere was also 10/10! Overall a brilliant experience! Definitely going back for another meal!

The food was amazing, and the service ok. The only problem was that we had the later sitting at 930 and it was basically a nightclub by that point in the night, couldn't hear eachother speak and had groups of people leaning on our table. I would recommend this restaurant if you go earlier in the night say from 6pm.

Food is amazing as usual and cannot fault that. Service can be better, forgotten our drinks order and the lunchtime service wasn't that busy (especially when I have experienced a very busy night there so I know they can be better)

A really nice restaurant, can't believe it took me this long to hear about it. Great Asian fusion menu and cool atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

The food was fantastic we particularly enjoyed the Pork Belly with Kale and the flat rice noodles with Duck. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Had a great night and it was great value for money.

Amazing food, the Roti Bread is the best! We had fantastic service, everyone was really attentive to keeping our glasses full and seeing if we needed anything else, also it's a beautiful restaurant, what more could you want :-)

Great joint. Good vibe and the food was delicious. Recommend the drunken noodles, pad thai, red tofu curry and the fried chicken. Looks like a good place for a drink on Friday night too.

Had lunch here for 6 people. Service was good, background music a bit loud for business lunch BUT the food was really really great - hence I will definitely be going back.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and funky and the food was truly exceptional! Would definitely book again for a special night out!

Magic Mountain was a great Thai experience and the food, service and venue is wonderful. The only reason for a score of 5 and not a 6 was it was quite loud and I found we were yelling to be able to have a conversation. Would definitely return

Popped in for a quick pre-theatre bite, so the 2-hour allocation for dinner was no problem. It was early evening so not too crowded - the music was loud on arrival but was turned down so that we could hear each other (a group of six) talk. Very helpful waitress who when asked gave detailed information about gluten free options. The servings were fast and generous, and very tasty. Very happy with the dining experience but probably wouldn't take a large group there if you wanted to hear each other when the place is full and busy.

Our initial table was horrible. But after 10 minutes we were reseated. Both my main selection and wine selection were sold out. Entree was amazing as was the service. Mains were average.

So good! Definitely a winner. The snapper sandwich and soft shell crab curries were the standouts. Love the extensive spritz menu too, such a good touch.

Always fantastic. Never let's you down. Food and service is always great. Pricey but the service is top notch so almost makes it worth the extra $.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff, wide range of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Even a delay in arrival of a couple of our party of 8 didn't faze them. Wonderfu day.l

Really delicious!! Excellent vegetarian options. And spicy means SPICY!! Service was great the staff were excellent and looked after us the whole evening. Definitely would come back.

Good venue, service was a little slow. Normally the food is great, but we weren't happy with our meals this time. Has the chef changed?

My husband and I had a fabulous night at Magic Mountains saloon. The food, booze and service is brilliant. We will definitely be back again.

I Highly recommend a visit to Magic Mountain. The food is superb, from delecate melt in your mouth fish to feisty curries. Not only that but the staff were 100% focussed on customer service and delivering a great experience. We can't wait to go back.

Lovely tasty food. More of a bar setting downstairs and restuarant upstairs. Great food creations and good wine list. Service was very good, friendly waiters.

The food was fantastic but the DJs music in the set that we mostly there for was too loud. We could not here what each other was saying

We were seated upstairs, a touch too warm but the menu was delicious and the service was fun and helpful. Not sure if dessert was an option?? We will be back!!

The food was delicious and the coffee was tasty. Good service which was prompt and friendly. The coddled eggs were watery in their pot which was the only downside.

The venue is a really nice space. We were on the top floor and it was full of colour and light. Food was really tasty and staff friendly and accommodating. Will return.

Delicious selection of salads and dishes. Really friendly and helpful staff that made great recommendation for our order. A little crowded and noisy on a Friday night sitting at a table in the main bar and near the entrance.
