Food and cocktails were devine. I wondered about the music being too loud. Ambiance was good though and the service was excellent - we had kids and they loved the range of food on offer.

Had a fabulous time at this restaurant. Serive is exceptional, atmosphere is relaxed and cruisy, food is sensational and reasonably priced - will definitely be back.

Great food and service. We ordered the pandas coconut crumpets, the trout dish with fairy bread and the rendang roti toastie. Everything was delicious! Would recommend

Food was good, but music was way too loud. Very hard to have a conversation. Our waitress was miserable and appeared to hate her job.

The food was fantastic, but we had the ‘feed me’ option, and for 5 big men it probably wasn’t enough food. Plenty of heat though

The food was great but a large very noisy group of people made the experience not as good as it could. It would have been better to move.

Food was great for the most part (pancake with deep fried mushrooms and sweet potato was a stand out) but disappointed we weren't guided as well by our waiter. We ended up ordering, and subsequently wasting way too much food for 2 people.

Great atmosphere, nice variety of dishes and very filling. Comfortable booths. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Good drinks selection and good quality Melbourne standard cocktails.

Amazing food, loved the cuisine. Interior was a little squishy - however, most restaurants are Service was great, not in your face. Staff were prompt and always were there when needed

Staff could be more attentive - we waited a while just to get our menus and had to wave them down every time we wanted to order. Food was spectacular though and great atmosphere.

Overall great atmosphere, service and food. Only downside was the pad Thai, great flavour, but a bit of a dissapointment for the price given it was mostly noodles and a very small amount of egg.

A great place to eat. The food is original and tasty. The staff are friendly and a little bit silly. I like that kind of thing.

Definitely a beautiful hidden gem located in the heart of Melbourne. I definitely recommend this place if you want really good food and awesome cocktails. A bit more on the pricey side but the money is definitely worth it. On top of that the staff are ways smiling which is rare to see now days. Perfect good vibes!

Second time at this restaurant with a group of 4. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Great vibes, fantastic all round.

Four of us went there for brunch last Saturday and ordered pretty standard meals and some coffees....two of us got our meal while the other two did not. We had finished eating ours and their meals still hadn't arrived. It wasn't until my husband spoke to someone that we were told there had been an issue in the kitchen and their meals would be arriving soon. It is understandable that sometimes things go wrong but if we been told, it would've made the whole experience better than what it was in the end.

Great food,super friendly and hilarious staff. The music isn't too loud either so you can actually have a conversation with the person across from you.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Service was just very friendly and efficient. Food was gorgeous. Ordered the pork belly in red chillie and I was surprised it was not overly & very crispy & tender. Also loved the Clear Creaming Soda drink, very refreshing

Food awesome, service awesome, wine list great, loudness of the music upstairs was a massive turnoff. When people have to shout to hear each other that then adds to the noise. Doubt I’d return.

Good food with amazing friendly service! We had the feed me menu which did not disappoint with every dish we recieved being beautiful and full of delicious flavours.

Food and cocktails are so delicious here, never disappoints. Had the dumplings, chicken popcorn, sausage roti, pad Thai. Service was pleasant but a little slow. They forgot our 2nd round of drinks, so then comped them which was nice. Great place :)

Friendly, accommodating and great food! We were able to be seated early, food was outstanding, wait staff made an effort and gluten free was able to be accommodated.

Outstanding service. Outstanding food and drink. I'm vegan and the food was delicious and thoughtful. Often a request for 'vegan' food will result in a salad. I had a fabulous tofu, pea and mushroom stir fry that was a proper balanced meal (actually contained protein). My friend and I will definitely be back.

I loved the music, the atmosphere, and above all the food. Highly recommend the pandang roti, and the lamb shoulder curry was very satisfying. Also loved my cuban creaming soda. Service was also lovely - energetic and yet relaxed and cool.

Usually great- food amazing- but so busy and loud was a really antisocial space. Our waiter said he knew nothing about wine- he is a scotch man- with a middle/ expensive wine list- I suggest he should learn or defer to a fellow waiter who might help!! However- amazing food again. Thanks.

Good food but very spicy! Music was very loud and better to have a table upstairs. Our table was downstairs in the bar and the view was of a car park across the road.

Food all delicious. The Soft Shell Crab Curry and Layered Green Tea Crepe Cake very yummy. Waiters attentive and helpful. A very relaxing Sunday lunch. Will certainly return.

I've always found the service at Magic mountain to be friendly, attentive, but never pushy. My go-to dishes are the pork hock fingers, pad Thai and their curries. The quality food, service and general vibe of the place keeps me coming back!

Could not fault it. 10/10. Only thing I would say is that most if not all of the dishes are spicy so if you don't like spicy food, keep that in mind!
