Magic Mountain Saloon

Both the food and the service were amazing. And the place itself has great atmosphere. Not too loud not too quiet and you don't hear evey other tables conversation. Perfect!

Magic Mountain Saloon is a fun place to share with friends. We enjoyed the tasty, spicy food, extensive drinks menu and excellent service . We’d definitely go again.

Had dinner with some girlfriends. We were greeted by a lovely guy and knew straight away that we were going to have a great time. Fantastic service, amazing food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Service was great. Everybody was really nice. Our waitress looked after us really well. The curry pots were quite spicy but yummy. I really liked the pad Thai and mozzarella curry balls. Will definitely be back for more

Food was delicious, love the Feed Me option. Service was very slow which was surprising given it wasn’t very busy. We waited a very long time for our bottle of wine.

Excellent selection of curries and other modern Thai dishes. For large groups, recommend trying the curries with rice and/or roti for a great sharing and tasting experience allowing you to sample a wide variety of curries, ingredients, and proteins.

Lovely service and AMAZING food. Our coffee order was initially forgotten and came out late however staff were very apologetic and we were not charged. Will definitely be back, many times.

Waitstaff were really attentive, even after we were running late due to traffic. Our waiter helped us choose delicious food and was very friendly and chatty. Very much enjoyed our lunch!

Delicious food and cocktails, their green curry is amazing! Nice ambiance, I like the red lights and the place is not too noisy or cramped. Only downside is that the food is pretty pricey for the portion size. Despite that, this is a place I'll definitely come back to!

The food was amazing!! We unfortunately experienced very poor service from the waiter assinged to look after us. He made us feel like we were putting him out by being there with short responses and rudly interupting the group when coming to the table with drinks, e.g. whoever ordered a beer take one as he leaned over one of our guests.

Vibrant bar with a New York feel. Service was excellent and the food great and reasonably priced Was here on a Saturday night so the place was packed to the rafters. Was meeting friends for dinner but the noise level was extreme and the music loud .. We just chose the wrong venue for a catch up.

Music was a bit loud for me found myself shouting but the food was beautiful and staff were very friendly and the food came very fast.

Food was terrible. All sugar no Thai flavours. Food is only designed for Western palate with no proper Thai exposure. Service is the only good part of the visit.

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Tonight was my third visit and every time the good and service is amazing! I would highly, highly recommend it!

Good vibe, food is nice and pretty unique. However the music was a little too loud. By the end of dinner, I nearly lost my voice.

Great food but extremely noisy. Music speaker near our table blasted music for about 1 minute every 10 minutes. Told waiter but he said it was broken and they couldn’t do anything about it. All dishes were good but very salty and a bit heavy handed in the fish sauce.

We we arrived we was put into alil small corner with a bad view. Then had to wait about 15 min just for water and then to top it off our food wasnt the best. My ribs werent sticky at all and were too fatty. My partner and i will never eat there again

Food was very good. Yes loud music but I liked it. Female server excellent but male who showed me my table not as attentive. Would go back again.

The food was excellent, the service was good. There was a great selection of beers. Only real criticism is that the chairs were too small for the table.

Took Mum and Dad along for a quick feed in the city, was absolutely fantastic. We shared 3 wok dishes and they were fresh, spicy and generously-portioned. A great experience, highly recommend.

It took 45 minutes for us to get our express lunch. Serving sizes were ridiculous. Service was inattentive and impolite, as it had been on previous visits.

Great atmosphere, music, service. The food is exceptional!! The different areas to sit around the Multi level restaurant give it a cosy feel without you feeling like you are crowded.

We waited over 45 mins to get a drink and they weren't even busy, when our glasses of sparkling finally arrived it was flat... Food was good although I was advised my Tofu dish was coconut based and it was not... Very disappointed as it was my choice for Restaurant

Food was delicious and tasty but the service fell away and became sloppy as night went on. Final straw was when we had finished mains and asked for the dessert menu. Twenty minutes later still hadn't shown and we could not get the waiter's attention given our seating location.

Gr8 food and atmosphere fantastic service will definitely mention this to many people. The cocktails were amazing as well! Magic Mountain is worth it! We had a gr8 night.

We had a great experience on Saturday. MMS achieved the trifecta of good food that came on time, a great range of drinks, and very friendly and helpful staff. We shall return!

Booked well in advance but was given the table downstairs on stools. Wasnt busy that night for a Saturday but I had to ask to be seated upstairs in the booths. Food wss good. Missed one dish but didn't have to pay for it. Drinks are very expensive too.

Always a wonderful experience at Magic Mountain Saloon. Staff are bright and cheery, atmosphere is awesome and the food outstanding Loving the new dishes on the menu! Will be back to try a few more

The service was very good, however the food was clumsy and not nearly worth the high prices charges - and the noise even at 6.30pm was incredible - women shrieking and the music up WAY too loud to enable a pleasant dining experience - we won't be back for dinner again.

Great vibe and lovely staff. The soft shelled crab curry is worth a visit alone. Banana roti absolutely delicious, and not over sweets. yum! I’ll be back.

The food was fantastic, great selection of options for everyone: we had gluten free, vegetarian and not so spice tolerant people in our dining party and all were more than adequately catered for. Service was friendly and steady, the only down side is the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor up some very steep stairs, so was not so accessible for those who are unable to navigate the stairs. Otherwise a great meal, will be back again.

The staff were friendly and really helpful and accommodating to my allergy. The food was really nice but was probably too spicy for my liking. I will definitely be back!
