Magic Mountain Saloon

Food was (and always is) amazing! I usually choose the "Feed me" option - where you get a various range of meals that they tailor to you (they ask for allergies, and if there is anything you don't like/really love etc). So much included, and all incredibly tasty! Also, the staff are always super lovely and accommodating, and the atmosphere is great. No complaints!

The service wasn't great. Took a very long time to get serviced and get the waitresses attention. A number of times we were ignored. When we did get their attention we were rushed when ordering or servers would walk away midway through placing orders. Would defiantly not recommend.

I enjoy the food here very much - tasty and spicy! The noise level is pretty high but quite a hip place too.

Cool atmosphere, good service, delicious food. Ordered more Asian side of menu - tapioca dumplings, minced beef and trout with greens. Trout was amazing, delicate flavours, beef tasty and dumplings really interesting and good. Would recommend this place.

Great food and good service. However, would appreciate the option of choosing where to sit when making the booking as we were in a corner but much cosier and well-lit spots were free.

The food was great, the place has a nice atmosphere and the waiters had a friendly service. I will be definitely be going back. Nice place for a mid-week date.

Delicious food at Magic Mountain, one of my favourites. Love the Roti with Curried Chicken and Mozzarella and the Braised Lamb Shoulder Red Curry. Also Lamb Cigars, “Snapper Sandwich”, Organic Smashed Potatoes and any noodle dish.

We all had a wonderful night. The service was excellent, very helpful explaining the food and the food choice. The food was plentiful and delicious, walking away with very full bellies. Enjoyed the music. Would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic food based around great flavours, well prepared and presented. A must do experience. We shared a number of dishes with staff being attentive but not bothersome

I enjoy Thai food, and was recommended to Magic Mountain by a friend. I found the traditional Thai dishes on the menu as well as some other dishes I have not found on other Thai menus. Today my friend and I shared the Mozzarella curried rice balls with avocado and coriander sauce (delicious), then Pad Thai (vegetarian), and a Stuffed Roti with curried chicken rendeng & smoked mozzarella (a combination made in heaven). The wait staff were helpful and polite and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. Give it a go! This is my second visit to this restaurant and I will look forward to my next meal here.

I hosted clients for lunch today ( not the first time this has happened). Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the service, food and wine recommendations. Excellent experience.

Very helpful staff and delicious food. Loved the Chive Dumplings with Soy Chilli sauce. Music was a little loud to talk over during dinner, but provides great atmosphere for cocktails.

Food is always delicious, staff are always friendly and attentive, sadly we couldn't have wine on this occasion but when we do it is yummy. A big fav place.

Amazzzzzzing food!! Service was great, not always attentive at times, so sometimes had to wait to order, but no big deal. Vibes were great, and cannot wait to go back! Also love that they have main stream beers too, not just fancy drinks!

It was so hard to find the restaurant as it has no signs of the name, but food was nice, and the drinks nice too!

FAr too noisy to talk over dinner when dining at the bar end. Would only try again sitting well into dining area of top floor. Duck Pot was awesome but dinner was spoilt by noise. More bar than restaurant.

The service was great, however the food was quite average unfortunately. As with many Thai dishes made for Westerners, the balance of sweet/sour/spice was not great (def not spicy enough) so I found the dishes a little sweet or lacking flavour overall. I did however like the BBQ pork and the salad it came with was nice and spicy.

Excellent customer service, great food and good atmosphere! Good selection of wine too which is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Magic Mountain whether it be for lunch or dinner. 10/10 everytime!

My guest and I were disappointed with the seating. We were both very uncomfortable being perched up on an uncomfortable stool as both of us have keen and back problems. On a more positive note, the food and service were excellent. Will definitely come back again and hopefully will be seated at a more comfortable table.

Food magnificent, prepared quick and waiters were great and interacted and had personality. Have been before and would go back, highly recommend for spice lovers.

Went to Magic Mountain Saloon for a birthday dinner with my friends and we all agreed that the lights were too dim and the music was too loud for our catch up. Perhaps have that ambience upstairs and less dim and loud for the diners downstairs.

The food and cocktails were delicious. Service was great as well I have been to this restaurant a few times and will definitely be back!!!

good all round experience: delicious food, good vibe, strong drink selection, wait staff are professional and courteous. room for improvement: quantity/size of mains for $45 banquet left a little room in a few of our bellies. two bowls and rice and two serves of curry, though delicious, didn't quite fill us up.

Fabulous food and the most amazing people caring for you throughout the whole night! Gordon was divine and the cocktails and crunchy chicken ribs were delicious. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner on a Friday night. Very busy time to go apparently, the place is pretty popular, nice atmosphere and attentive staff, however food was pretty average for the price.

Food, atmosphere and service was flawless! The only thing that let it down was the fact that they squeezed 6 of us into a 4-person booth with a chair on the outer. Was very cramped especially when people were walking past the table.

The drunken noodles is spot-on! I literally could taste the wok-chi from it, so Asian so authentic! Most definitely will come back again, awesome atmosphere as well!!

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, we had an absolutely lovely time. The good was delicious, as were the drinks. The music was a bit loud, but that was the only downside.

Buzzing restaurant with very long and nice drink menu with a lot of glass wine options. Great food too, some are very spicy as we liked ! Highly recommended.
