Awesome staff, super knowledgeable about both the food and wine. Tell your waitperson your food preferences let them take guesswork out of choosing. We ended up with some dishes we would never have picked ourselves but so glad they did. 100/100

Great (almost) 24 hour option. Breakfast offers some really different options to the usual fare, food is generally very good, service friendly and efficient, also a great spot to have a few drinks.

So noisy, we couldn't talk or hear each other. The acoustics in that place are terrible. Not helped by the constant screeching, yelling and carrying on of the staff amongst themselves...we just had to leave after 1 drink...there's no way we could have had a meal there. Went somewhere else for dinner.

Food was so delicious!! We had the $55 banquet option between a group of 8 people and we could not get through it, great value and variety we are all keen to go back. Great range of cocktails and drinks too.

The food is outstanding, as is the service, but it would be good if the music wasn't quite so loud. Staff & patrons all end up yelling at each other.

Our service was really scattered and confusing. One of us couldn't eat spicy food but one of the first dishes suggested (and subsequently ordered) was super spicy. There was a mix up with our wine which resulted in us being charged for wine which we didn't order or want. In the mix up we felt obliged to pay for a bottle which we not only did not ask for, but it was being sold as one particular wine label when it was actually another worth half the value. The food was really lovely, it was really fresh and delicious, but the terrible service ended with me having a really difficult and awkward conversation with our waiter and (I assume) her team leader/manager to try and rectify the bill, which was really quite a stressful way to end our meal.

Good food and great atmosphere. Negative was we felt very rushed and two meals we ordered we never recieved. We would have spent more money by staying longer for drinks if we didn't have the feeling we had to get out.

The food at Magic Mountain was delicious! Also the most efficient, entertaining and hilarious wait staff I've ever had. Absolutely perfect and I'll definitely be back. Thanks.

A little disappointed on my second visit to MMS... I arrived at 8:15 for a 8:30 booking and was advised to perch at the bar until our table was ready which is cool. My partner and I sat at the bar until 9:05 then I had to remind the service staff about our booking, we were sat down 2 minutes later however, the frustrating part is that my table was already vacant when I first arrived in clear view. We ordered the kingfish and prawn entree, pork and pineapple egg net and the crispy pork belly with kale. Everything was great except for the pork belly. When you write ' crispy pork belly ' on your menu, please don't send out chewy pork belly that tastes as though someone blasted it in a microwave for 2 mins. Everything else was decent and the beer list is excellent. Brooklyn Lager on tap is a fine drop for Asian cuisine too. I doubt I'll return to dine at MMS, however I will definitely return for a couple of pints of Brooklyn Lager! On this visit, I rated MMS 4/10. Cheers

My partner and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. Great vibe, fun atmosphere. Very helpful and attentive staff. Meal and drinks were delicious. Looking forward to going back.

As a regular here I've never had a bad meal and the wines are always good whether you pick a house white or one of their well chosen selection. Service can vary but overall pretty good and eager to assist if you have dietary requirements.

Good food but service can be slow on peak hours. Very friendly staff. Their fried chicken is to die for. Entrance can be easily missed if you are not on the lookout for it.

Gorgeous decor, friendly informed service (minus the very slow approach to asking if we wanted more drinks), delicious food. Environment was very loud - sound absorption materials would be a great idea.

We have been to magic mountain saloon on a previous occasion and we're really looking forward to our second experience. Sadly this time there was something lacking. Having remembered from our first visit that some of the dishes could be very spicey we asked our waiter to request fairly mild dishes. This request was somehow missed in the kitchen and our dishes were brought out and were fairly spicey. The taste was good but the service was also lacking a bit. We have been to thei other restaurants bending cookie, the tiff and colnel tans and we would be returning to those much sooner than magic mountain saloon.

If you are looking for amazing food and great service, the Magic Mountain is the place to go. It has some of the best thai food I have ever had. It is modern take on thai done very well. Great atmosphere as well. I lightly recommend it.

Excellent venue, wonderful cocktail list. The wait staff are great, have a lot of knowledge and provide good advice re: size of meal to order. The waiters we had really went the extra mile. Food also excellent!

The beef fillet rolled in pork belly is the highlight of our meal. Must try dish. Drinks list is awesome especially beer on tap options.

Food and cocktails were amazing. The location of our table felt a bit out and we were either looking out at a carpark or at a firehose which didn't really add to the ambience unfortunately. Our waiters were extremely accomodating and lovely.

Great venue with fantastic atmosphere. The dishes are very diverse and unique even for Melbourne! Great night, will be back. Booking absolutely necessary in the weekends

Food was incredible and staff were fairly attentive. The only small issue was the wait to order drinks all the time as they were so busy, but apart from that, amazing!

Service was below what one would expect, always had to call the waiter for assistance, forgot to bring around a beer we ordered! Need additional staff to assist, I assume they would had had a lot of bookings with it being Valentine's Day so don't think there is any excuse for being understaffed for higher than average crowds! Food was great and once we got our food order in it arrived pretty quickly!

The food was good however the service was not. -We waited 45 min for a mocktail and had to ask for it again. -The waitress got our dish order wrong - the roti bread was not served with our main dishes and took 40 mins to arrive at our table. We had to stop eating our mains because we had to wait for the roti. -it took 35 min 1 cocktail order. Overall the service was dissapointing.

Overall, great food and drinks! 9pm booking. Had to seek staff out and get their attention for a few minutes to close the bill for dinner (was a pitfall). And upstairs at the bar again poor acknowledgement whist waiting to order a drink, two others served before me even though I had already been waiting for 5 minutes prior. It was quiet at this time too. Served next once I mentioned this.

I went with my brother and a few friends who were visiting from sydney. We ordered a few different dishes, like curried softshell crab, papaya salad, fried rice which they all were a bomb! The flavour, texture and quality were satisfying. We also had the ocean trout as entree which was yummy and refreshing! The waitress who served us on that day was really friendly and energetic, the whole experience was so good that we will definitely going back for more. No exaggeration here, it is not even my first time, so my review based on my past few visits.. One thing though, they are not really prompt with their phone calls, so if you have booked earlier and need to make changes, it will take some time to reach them (in my case, i actually walked in since i live around the area). It is just a small technical thing..

The food quality is great, absolutely fantastic despite the long waiting time for it. Definitely worth the wait. Besides that, the services were awesome and the staffs were friendly.

Been here twice now; once for a hens party of 16, and last night for a business date. Nice vibe, good food, great cocktails, friendly and funny staff. Will definitely be back!

The service was quick with great food recommendations. The food was delicious with starters and the mains being a good sized proportion. The music and lighting worked well.

We had made reservations for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was incredible however they had underestimated the demand and there was not enough waiters. The waiters were good but because there was so few of them the service was horrible.

Food was superbly executed modern takes on Thai classics (recommend the chicken skewers with duck egg salad and lamb curry). The drinks menu is (perhaps too) extensive with plenty of great options to pair with. Service was excellent - staff were helpful and friendly. Ambiance was great, although it's a bar so it does get loud.

Food is very tasty. One of my favourites was the tumeric grilled chicken. Generous servings and great service. Staff are attentive and friendly. One downfall to the ambience is the background music is too loud which requires people to raise their voices to chat, only increasing the noise levels. It makes it difficult to enjoy a conversation without having to strain your ears and shout out to people.

I took my girlfriend to Magic Mountain for her birthday dinner, and not only was the food and service great, but they included a dessert with a candle on it for my girlfriend. A great end to a fantastic night and we'll definitely be going back!

The service wasn't very good, but everything else (atmosphere, booking system etc) was good. The waiter assigned to the table had a lot of attitude.

It was ok till we spotted a mouse 😒 The food was not bad & the service was average. I guess you got to try to find out for yourself.

Lovely experience! Wonderful asian fusion food experience, Staff were friendly bubbly and fun. Great atmosphere/music and service. Best cocktails and spritz around town. Shall return in future.

Food and service was great. Would have liked a 4 person booth or rectangle table rather than the two round singular tables that were combined for us. Made the food layout a bit tight.

Delicious food!! The best breakfast menu in town. Asian inspired, lots of options. Coffee is average though I will come back for food for sure

We had a large group booking and a few extra tag alongs on the evening. Staff were very easy and flexible and knew the menu well to ask for advice and suggestions.

Great food, good service, only complaint is that the tables are small and so no water bottles on the table. Difficult for such a busy restaurant to keep topping up your water glasses, and quite difficult to get the waiters eye to get a refill. All our guests noted this, otherwise everyone happy.
