Locale Mio restaurant

Ambience was lovely. Music a bit too loud for a small area. Pizzas were extremely tasty and moorish. Great wine list and the house red, the Cabernet merlot was excellent. Staff were friendly and owner, Salvatore was attentive and polite.

We loved it. A great place to enjoy the food and company with your family and friends

They were quite busy and it took slightly longer than expected to have our order taken, but once that was done everything ran in good time. Service was friendly, the food was great, and it was reasonably priced. We’ll be back.

Couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. Cocktail, antipasto and my porchetta tagliatelle were all perfect. Price point was definitely reasonable. So happy with it all, will definitely come back again and again.

Food was great - was expecting a slightly larger portion (lobster tail pasta), however was very tasty. Desserts were delicious, as was the wine. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic service and food. Wish the table could have been a little bigger but loved being able to watch everything outside so was worth it. Went to the toilet and struggled to use the elevator could potentially have clearer instructions (e.g. press 4 for toilet access). Overall though was an amazing tapas meal and very impressed with the service. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic little locale restaurant with fabulous, freshly made authentic Mediterranean food, with superb wines and friendly wait staff. The owner comes and tends to his customers personally and is very sociable. A fantastic family outing! Will definitely make this our regular!

Have had a couple of great evenings at this establishment and have not been disappointment . Management has to be commended on their staff always happy to greet which does make you feel at ease and happy to help with the menu. As a local I do wish them all the best and to keep up their good work especially in the kitchen area because that’s where it all starts........well done to all at the Locale Mio...

Great service and food mostly good. Lobster spaghetti was way too 'fishy'! So much so that it couldn't be finished. BYO would be helpful. Would I go back? Probably not. So much competition and better value for money around.

Excellent service, very attentive staff. Love the fact the owner is on site and checking in with customers. It’s a fantastic restaurant, lovely atmosphere. We like the fact the pasta dishes are very authentic.

Meals were good overall with some standout dishes, the bresaola was delicious as was the pasta special. Garlic pizza though was dry and a little bit lacking. Few hiccups with the service and booking however staff were pleasant and welcomed feedback and because of this the minor issues didn’t detract from our experience, we enjoyed our evening and would definitely return and recommend this restaurant.
