Food, waitress was all exceptional. Waitress had a lovely character, friendly and helped us out with the menu items. We booked early to avoid a noisy restaurant. Began to fill up as we were about to leave. Certainly a place we will go back but not for a later time.

The meals were delicious but they did not all come out together. When drinks order was taken the waitress took 3 (of 10 people) and virtually ran away.

Really bad service. No welcome. No smiles. No-one asked if our meals were okay. No-one asked if we wanted another drink (which we would have!). Treated like an inconvenience. Will never return! Will be telling our local friends to avoid! manners do not cost much and customers need to feel valued. Not like this place!

Great place, warm and traditional italian. Definitely recommend the Spaghetti Marinara, and the gnocchi is also perfect!

My husband and I were visiting from Central Coast NSW. We loved the food, the atmosphere and the service. Beautiful people, very friendly. Special mention to Billie the manager( he did not stop all night) the owner and our lovely waitress.( sorry have forgotten names) Would definitely recommend this restaurant and next time we’re in Adelaide we will be back.

First time I went to La Trattoria was more than 40 years ago in my early 20's w e used to go regularly on Friday nights. Still love to go there. Great to see it still popular and buzzing on a Wednesday nigt.

Food was overcooked. My main came 10 min before others and was sent back and asked to be served with the other mains. VERY noisy, hard to chat. Excellent table service waitress, but I was happy to leave. It is usually a place that I LOVE.

After waiting an hour Half the table ate before the other half very disappointing. We were also seated in a thoroughfare very busy. Food was yummy though when it came but don't go in a large group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Trattoria. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant and it was very quiet and private, which we enjoyed. Both the service and food were fantastic. Will definitely be going back again.

I've been visiting 'La Tratt' since the 1980s. I've been to many Italian restaurants all over the world and I believe that 'La Tratt' is one of the best I've ever frequented. The food is consistently great and authentic and good value for money. It was a beautiful, balmy night tonight and sitting out the front 'al fresco' style was great. 'Billy' is the best waiter I've ever had, anywhere in the world! Keep up the great work Andy and your team!

I hadn't been here since the mid-80, moved back a few years ago and forgot this little gem. The food and service was great back then and its still fantastic. Great food, service and value.
