Bit noisy but food was good. Wait times a little long

Very nice food and service . Good place for family dinner & gatherings . Great value for money you would go home very full and satisfied

Would recommend this place and there were lots of families with kids. However, don't expect a "show" by the chefs, which you might find other places. Food was good and it's an healthy option.

Had a great time at tempanaki and it was such delicious food. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back again in the near future.

Food was great but as we were seeing a movie after dinner we weren't informed of any time delays/restrictions on ordering food, therefore we needed to order bento box which was great but not what we initially wanted. Something to consider for Wait Staff when talking to customers, otherwise all was great.

The food was amazing and there is such a great atmosphere. An awesome place to have a birthday or any type of celebration. Will definitely be back

Food was only just ok really for the price, I wouldn't go back as we didn't think it was value or worth repeating food wise. My steak was a bit tough, service was a bit slow.

It took almost an hour for our food to arrive. In a group of 10, by the time the last person got their food, others had already finished their meal. The dumplings in the Bento box were cold on the inside. Otherwise, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Food was great and service was great. Large meals with lovely fresh produce. Next time we will brave the front line seats at the cooker as it looked like fun.

Kamikaze Chermside has a great atmosphere, fantastic food, great location with beautiful surroundings and easy parking, fun and energetic staff. An overall fabulous eating experience is to be had here. I recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment as it is popular.

We enjoyed our meal. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was attentive. We will return. Found the Special Lunch menu made the meal more affordable for a family of 5. Shared 4 teppanyaki meals which came with miso soup, salad and dipping sauces.

Great restaurant, amazing food, good atmosphere and friendly staff! We had a fantastic time celebrating my husbands birthday! We will definitely be back again soon!

Good food, a little noisy (not the staff's fault, just customers having a good time banging the steel counters - part of the experience) which made communicating with waiters a little difficult. Meals took a while it being Sat night but a good casual dining place.

Absolutely exceeded expectations. They had Wonderfully delicious food, with generous portion sizes, speedy and friendly service. We will definitely be returning back to try more items on the menu.

Food was great and the atmosphere was fun. Highly recommended. Only suggestion is that floor staff are more observant to needs as it took ages to have our order taken and to order drinks.

Food tasted good - Calamari and Steak were the stand outs . The cocktails also were good . Atmosphere at night was pretty good .

Great restaurant & great food. We were seated promptly & our order taken. The wait staff were very busy & there seemed to be some kind of mixup because our entree & mains arrived at the same time. We asked them to take the mains back to the kitchen & they advised that they would prepare us new meals when we were finished our entree. Overall a great night & loved watching the chefs cook on the hotplates.

Plain bottled sauces. I’m a bad cook and I can do better. Waited forever to get any service and very disappointed when it eventually came. Not going again.

Great food and great service. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and we didnt have to wait too long for our meals, which were very generous and delicious.

Entertainment and service was good. Karaage was raw so was replaced and only charged 50% of the price for the dish. Drinks took a while to arrive.

Food was average. Good for lunch but being teppenyaki can get smokey and if your not after that then it's not your kind of scene. Show was good but quality of food wasn't anything mind blowing. There are good Japanese restaurants run by non Japanese staff, but this was not one of them. Think of the crazy clarks of teppenyaki.

Excellent bento boxes. We had the chicken karaage box and yakitori box. Interesting seating booths too. Good service! We didn't have a seat at the teppanyaki hotplates but the food smelt great and the cooking skills were spectacular.

The food was amazing, so fresh and delicious. The staff couldnt have been more attentive. It was my little girls birthday and the staff really went out of their way to make it a fun experience for her. We will definately be back!

It was such a great experience. We got there and were seated straight away, our food was good by a very nice and friendly chef. And the food was amazing and very well priced. Not pricey at all. We would definitely go back there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Kamakaze Restaurant Chermside for lunch today. We chose the lunch special which we thought was very good value. The chicken and steak were cooked to our liking and servings very generous. The service was very good and staff pleasant at all times. We will definitely be back!

The food quite good but lots of butter used which made the meal greasy. Also everything served up on one plate . I prefer the traditional where each part of the dish is cooked and served instantly

Excellent food, good service, very entertaining to watch the chefs cook on the hot plate in front of diners! Took a long time for our two bottled drinks. Also our first time there and staff not super helpful when answering our questions about meals. Despite this I would recommend to friends!

The tepanyaki box was great value for money - miso soup, salad, your choice of meat rice and sauce. We got the set for 2 and couldn’t finish it all!

The service was very service but it was a little too noisy sitting at the teppan plate, so we moved to a booth which was great.

The booths are great. Fair prices. Good portion sizes. Friendly atmosphere. The service was fine. I would definitely bring my family back for a meal.

Could not fault it as everything was fresh and tasty delicious! We will be going back. Only down was waiter a little eager to remove plates.

Good overall, food was alright, but everything was too westernised for my liking. I was looking for a more authentic experience, like that offered at harijuku gyoza.

Food was very average with not much flavour, tuna was stick-in-the-throat dry. Friendly staff. Thought the food was overpriced for what it was. Wouldn't go back.

Good little restaurant, staff were attentive, food was good and portions were large. Prices were not too high. I come here again without a doubt.
