Brilliant service, amazing food. I sat at the bar, and the atmosphere could not have been better. I was served directly by the kitchen staff who were attentive, informative and friendly. High recommended.

Food was good, but lighting was bit too dark at our table. I want to enjoy the visual presentation of the food especially with Japanese food. It is difficult to see colours on a plate, if I was sitting at a table as dark as being in a cave.

It was very nice as usual, the food was super delicious, atmosphere was great. Waitresses were very friendly and talk nicely, definitely come back another time

Menu change after 3 years and on high side. Service was ok. My ichiko was a let down because the girl put so much ice . I wish they had ball ice lol. Dishes was good and wagYu beef tataki and sashimi was my favourite. Good to go once in blue moon. Good company :)

The delicious food, lovely decor and peaceful ambience makes this our favourite Japanese restaurant in Perth. The sashimi is sooo fresh! I also love the ikura hand roll, the freshly made gyoza and the wagyu roll.

Small and nice venue. Excellent service. Wagyu beef tataki and Mogomo tuna balls were the best amongst the other good food we ate.

Excellent food as usual, kids friendly, nice and kind staff. Tuna belly sashimi and beef tataki are all-time favourite dishes. One of the best Japanese cuisine.

The food was excellent, as was the service. Great Sake selection. The nigiri sushi was sublime - so fresh and tasty. A wonderful experience. I recommend it highly.

Delicious top class food and very pleasant experience again. Wagyu tataki was amazing - beautiful flavours. And affordable. Waitresses lovely very friendly and polite. Decor tasteful and sound levels OK. Nice view from our table at the front window.

Great food but the conversational dynamics weren't great when you have 8 ppl at a long table. Hopefully this can be improved in the future.

Fantastic ambience but food quality VERY AVERAGE . Cost very high and although food quality ingredients excellent, execution mediocre..ie tempura greasy /oil not hot enough. For japanese restaurant this detail unforgivable.. I can go onto many other details BUT we never go back

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Staff is friendly and unobtrusive. Menu is pricey limiting how often we can dine here but the food has always been excellent and worth the cost.

The food is always lovely, sophisticated and exciting! A bit pricy but it’s really worth it. The wine list is also very nice and the service is so professional and lovely. Always a treat to go to James Parker!

We come back to the same restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner. Kids love the food, as all meals are amazing and nice presented. Waitresses are friendly and very organised. We will definitely come back again!

Amazing as usual! The sashimi was all so fresh and everything beautifully presented. They sold out of otoro - good for them but sad for us!

We loved the food here. BUT tonight everything was disappointing even the chu toro. Quite fibrous sushi rice was bad n loose. Hopefully it is just tonight.

Atmosphere was great and the service absolutely fantastic! Food was delicious as usual and as near authentic Japanese as you can get with ingredients here in Perth. Will definitely be there again!

Fresh and delicious food! Nice decor and design of the restaurant. We went there for our birthday dinner, the service was polite but just okay. I had higher expectations for a more warm welcoming atmosphere as the bills are not cheap. For a fine dining experience, customer service could use some more improvement. Will be back to try other dishes! Would be nice to see more warm smiling faces next time. Also it would be good next time if the booking confirmation call staff could offer seat selection.

Good quality of food but for the deco was a bit under for the price.

It was really good and impressive upon entering the restaurant - very quick service and attention to detail. We came to celebrate a special occasion but will be back for more soon.

Good quality food, the price went up since our last visits. The thing that put as down was that they run out of rice in the middle of the evening therefore we could not have any sushi or nigiri , sound ridiculous but it really happened, they apologise but we were not happy about it

Can fault anything. Every dish was quality, the prices are reasonable and, staff are attentive. The sushimi was probably the best I've eaten outside of Japan.

One of the best Japanese places I've been too, personally think its reasonably priced too. The service is exceptional and would definitely go back again.

Sashimi is really fresh. Great customer service. Chef is not just professional also as an artist. Might a bit expensive, but that is worth it.

Love the fit out! Great atmosphere, Unfortunately, while most of our food was really lovely and delicate, the all important sashimi was probably the worst I have had. Service was pleasant (when it existed) but slow and often required attracting attention. Would I go back - sadly probably not, just on account of the sashimi and the average service!

Everything is perfect. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s worth. Have a lovely date with my best friend to celebrate our birthday this month!
