James Parker - Sushi & Sake

I had sushi last night and it was great as always. Snapper combined with shiso leaf was exquisite. My another pick of the last night was aburi scallop. Thank you for a good meal again.

Loved the presentation of each dish ordered, the dinnerware were stylish and exquisite. Very pleasure dinning experience. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended to all Japanese cuisine lovers.

Amazing service and delicious food as always. Definitely reccommend the beef tataki and spicy edamame! James Parker is by far my favourite Japanese restaurant in Perth.

The first menu impression is that it’s expensive, but each course was pretty authentic. The desserts were the highlight. Overall worth putting on your list and different to any other Japanese in Perth.

Perfect as usual! Sad that they didn't have otoro available on the night (according to the waitress, it was not in season) but all the dishes that we had were delicious as always!!

Consistently good. Pricing has also remained competitive. Beautiful cutlery akin to the ones used in high end establishments. It is definitely a first choice for izakaya style dining.

I really satisfied with this restaurant. Every foods are very delicious and they have a very good atmosphere. We could enjoy eating and talking at this restaurant. I would like to go there next opportunity.

Only gave it a 5 due to the service. The problem was when we arrived our seats were not ready and we needed to wait but the waitress wouldn’t let us sit down on any other available table.

Good quality food and fast service. Food is served pretty quick. Modernist deco with lounge music. Pricing is on a steeper end, so would go there for special occasions.

Top quality authentic Japanese food. This time we were shown to our table but after waiting for some time we had to ask for the menu & for the table to be set up. Apart from that, this is still a fantastic restaurant

I had such a great experience on my first visit a couple of months ago. This time round I wish I could say the same, the kids noise level was above acceptable for the restaurant like James Parker. I will go back again just to be sure it wasnt just a one off abnormality. Fingers cross.

Has good food and drink. Sashimi are fresh but need to select the correct type of fish.

Don’t order hand rolls. The seaweed is so dry and they didn’t put any mayonnaise in the hand rolls so it was flavorless! The lotus chips were a bit over done! Atmosphere and service is good but menu is quite expensive so be prepared to spend $100 for 2 adults.

Lovely food and great service. Sashimi was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the lotus chips and the tempura Camembert and Eggplant with sweet miso- it was Devine!

James Parker has excellent service and brilliant food! We had really good time here. Never ever had such good otoro! We will be back again

On recommendation, I booked the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's 29th birthday. OMG, I was expecting beautiful food but was still surprised by how tasty the food was, and the generous portions. Overall, our table had such a lovely evening. The waiters were lovely, so polite and friendly, always smiling and attentive. Thank you for ensuring my daughter had a special birthday.

Nice and friendly staff, food was nice a little slow out but good quality. We were dinning with children and a up was smashed by the staff were very kind and did not cause a fuss we do apologise Beautiful

The food quality worse than before, not much suprise this time,and the space not big, 3 ppl order lots, and came so fast each dish , no space for any food after 3 dishes came

Consistency was good and the menus need to be refreshed more often. Need more Varieties of choices to choose from... Waitress seems to be in a rush to keep everything on the table which they should avoid it.

Great food as always at Perth’s, maybe Australia’s, best Japanese restaurant. Great service from their professional staff and great artistry in the kitchen. Truly fabulous.

Love sitting at our usual spot at the sushi bar to enjoy our dinner. We always have the JP assorted sashimi and a whole range of made-to-order nigiris! Everything always taste so good and fresh!!

Good service and the food came out really promptly. Everything was fresh and we particularly loved the salmon smoked salad. Loved how the menu was set out to help us decide what to order etc.

Booked for a table of 6, good service by the staff and most of the food came out fairly quickly. All the dishes we had were delicious.

James Parker has an excellent sake list. Try the Otoro Sashimi (Tuna Belly) and the Salmon Belly. They're MP, but unforgettable. Another good option is the soft shell crab rolls.

Food was fabulous, service was great but it was a noisy from another table. However food seems to be smaller size with the same price if compare with before

I absolutely loved it! Sitting on the sushi bar, the flavours of the food... The sake.. everything was beautiful. Please, if you like Japanese food, don't give this one a miss! Ask for the sushi bar seating if you have a party of 1 or 2!

Food was alright only for the premium price charged but ambience was good. Also, staff was a little inattentive to our needs as we had to ask for water and chopsticks for three times before it came. Overall, would still come but there is room for improvement still!

Delicious escape you have to try! Awesome variety of sushi and excellent service. We love this place and use to go there every now and then. Always super fresh, healthy food:)

Good food and lovely setting. Mushroom tempura and salmon rolls highly recommended. Desserts were a little disappointing Parking was difficult in Northbridge on a Saturday night.
