James Parker - Sushi & Sake

The food and service were both excellent. The fish and the wagyu beef were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great too. We sat at the sushi bar, but our dinner still felt intimate. this is definitely a place to which I would return!

Excellent sashimi! My husband said it was the best wasabi he’d ever tasted - and that’s really saying something. Even on the way home feeling very full and happy, I am looking forward to dining there again - at my next opportunity!

Amazing authentic Japanese food. We had lotus root chips, chicken karaage, gyoza, eel dragon roll, deep fried camembert cheese, beef tataki among other dishes. Great ambience, good service and good size portions. Definitely among the best japanese cuisine in Perth!

Best Sashimi I’ve had in a while. Dishes came out almost too quickly. Karage chicken was very tasty but could have been crispier. Apart from that, all was very good and service was impeccable!

Great service. The best Sushi in Perth. Our favorite. We've driven the 100 odd kilometers each way 4 times in the last 3 months to eat here and We'll be coming back as often as we can.

Delicious food and range of sake. Some very interesting traditional dishes. The venue is nice and comfortable. A highly recommended place for a meal out.

Space wise the table for 7 was a little bit cramp, but all is good with good service and a brand new menu. Well done.

Excellent food, service, ambience, staff. What more can you ask for? Top of the list for Japanese food in Perth at the moment so will definitely be back on a regular basis. Only negative and this has nothing to do with the restaurant, parking can be a pain, so taxi, drop off or Uber, is the best way to go.

The Japanese food was really authentic. We really liked the sashimi - it was really fresh. The service was pretty good too, apart from the fact that you only had 2 hours to eat!

Nice decor and Wonderful staff. They serve great Sashimi and Tataki. The traditional japanese section is a must. Sushi could better and the food and sake are overall a bit pricey.

Been here for several special occasions now and I reckon it's still the best place for sashimi in Perth!

Food was good, but each dish was a little big to share between two, couldn't order variety of foods. Beer could have been nicer if colder.

So far all the Foods which we had was consistent and their workers was very friendly with prompt attention towards our request most of the time.

Great food, well presented. Bit squished though in the seating with detracts from the overall atmosphere. Value isn't as good as it used to be so slightly on the expensive side.

We had a wonderful immersive Japanese experience, as Always with jAmes Parker. Brought us back to Japan! Every dish was delicious. We love the sea eel anago. JAmes Parker is truly our favourite Japanese restaurant outside of Japan!

My 3rd visit. Really fresh sashimi. Scampi a highlight. Some interesting menu choices Good lighting & despite being busy, can have a conversation. Efficient service

Delicious food. We had the 5x2 sashimi plate and wagyu beef tataki. Drinks were good as we had the authentic japanese beer and sake. However, we when ordered more food, it took ages (at least 20 mins just for nigiri) as they said the kitchen was crazy busy. So we had to cancel it because we had other schedule that day.

The service was very good and the quality of food was superb. The chef has a genuin passion for authentic Japanese food. He selects very good ingredients from the markets. I enjoyed the dinner there very much. Thank you.

Great service. Great food. Been to James Parker many times now. Every time it manages to surprise us. Never disappoint. Definitely recommend this place. Great date night place too.
