Staff were lovely & friendly and the food was very nice & authentic. But no wine cooler was given to keep the wine cold on the table.

Warm intimate and cosy, delicious gyozas, udon stir fry and grilled salmon teriyaki. Very timely service. Waiting staff were very friendly and happy. Will absolutely be coming back. Lovely!

Good quirky menu, tasty. Crayfish taco's a hit. Prices seemed reasonable. Service a bit slow. I had some good company so perhaps it made the whole night splendid!

The food was very nice, but the meals we ordered came out at different times. There was a delay of at least 10 mins between my partners meal and my meal arriving. The staff were very polite and efficient. We would revisit again.

Ambience okay, decor dark and could be modernised. We ordered the sushi sashimi platter for two which was wonderful. Also ordered beef sukiyaki - not good at all, very disappointed with the quality of beef and stock taste - very bland and lots of msg, vegetables where big chunks of carrot and cabbage - just awful.

as good as the last time. introduced friends to the restaurant last time and they loved it so much we came back and weren't disappointed.

3rd visit. Outstanding food, different dishes to other Japanese restaurants. Meals arrived promptly however there wasn’t enough staff. When we were paying the bill there seemed to be confusion about whether American Express would be accepted. We waited approximately 15 minutes before our waitress returned.

Nice environment and good service for the staff, we ordered the set lunch taste are good but the portions of the rice is a bit too small.

Fantastic crunchy crab roll and chicken karagge. We had dinner with 4 others and everyone loved the place. The tacos looked delicious too but we didn't have them : maybe next time

The food and the presentation was excellent. It took too long to get menus and the drinks order to be taken however food came out quickly. The restaurant is very noisy.

It takes a little too long before they take your drinks and first food order but it is certainly worth the wait. Well priced, super-tasty (but typically Japanese healthy feeling) grazing food keeps you coming back for more.

Awesome food, must try the volcano sushi roll and the soft shell crab salad! Sake was on point too. Recommended and will definitley be back!

We enjoyed our meal. Food was presented beautifully, large variety of vegetarian options, friendly staff and very enjoyable evening. Good selection of dishes for sharing as we were a group of 8 people.

Good sashimi. Tempura udon not so authentic ( compared to the original ones from Kyoto) Also had pork katsu ( can give it a miss). Potato croquette ok. Looks like anything that does not require cooking is better

Overall a great experience. First time there the staff very friendly and helpfull. But the food wasn't good it was out of this world. Fresh well presented and so tasteful.

Food was delicious and innovative with a twist on the usual Japanese fare. This was complimented by friendly and attentive service even though we arrived late in the evening when kitchen was about to close.

The food was exquisite, staff were very friend and the venue was cosy and quite. This was undoubtedly the best Japanese I have ever tasted and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone. Can't wait for my next Tokyo Kitchen taste adventure.

Great food presentation and easy to chose menu options. Staff were attentive. Good value. Only issue was the many of the beers were not available that day.

We were a table of 4 (two couples). We all enjoyed our dinner, between us we had sushi, sashimi, tempura & a couple of mains. Casual vibe, yummy food, reasonable price.

Food is fantastic and very consistent. Service is quick and always very helpful. I really like the atmosphere, buzzing but intimate. Our favorite Japanese local.

Great authentic Japanese food. Consistently good. The wait staff are a bit slow but as soon as you catch their eye, they come over but they don't come near you otherwise.

The restaurant is very warm , staff service was excellent, good variety of drink selection, $4 per head for BYO, meal was excellent with a variety of impressive Japanese meal options. Well worth the visit and we will be back.

Lovely food, wide range and beautifully presented. Excellent staff and no fuss environment. Recommend BYO wine (and pay the corkage) as the wine by glass selection is limited and of less than average quality

Great food, BYO is a bargain , tempura prawns and prawn gyoza the highlights. staff friendly and respectful. Will return very soon. Ambience is also good.

Wonderful, fresh Japanese with a mix of traditional and some more inventive dishes. The miso cod was a standout. The wagyu salad I could leave behind but then again I think wagyu is overrated in general. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service too.
