We had an assortment of dumplings, calamari, pork buns and a delicious beef stir fry. The only fault was we were not given serving utensils.

Service fabulous, maybe even too fast. Food delicious as always.

It’s not my firs5 trio to this place. Had booked so table was ready it is noisy but I don’t care Food is exceptional

ILD is now affected greatly by the takeaway Apps, with many Deliveroo, MenuLog, and Uber Eats helmeted deliverer visits. After half an hour our wine still had not arrived. Meanwhile a procession of helmeted visitors took their orders from the counter. Who does the chef cook for these days!!? We are seeing a trend where the sit-down customers are second-best.

Lovely food! Very fast and delicious! The dumplings were a stand out and the wonton soup!

Food was good but the service was pretty bad. It took a while to get seated, when we finally did, we had to request for our order to get taken (30 minutes after the start of the booking), and we had to ask twice for anything we needed (such as bowls for soy sauce).

The food was all great, and didn't take too long to come. However, the service was extremely poor. There was one less table setting than booked for and we had extreme difficulty getting staff member's attention to get basic cutlery, bowls, glasses - to the point where we went and got them ourselves.

Good atmosphere. Very busy. Food very good. We had the pork dumplings and the chicken and prawn dumplings, very good. For main we had rice, calamari and beans with pork. All of it lovely. Will be back.

Service could have been better. Had to ask 3 times for our sparkling water. Food came out very erraticly and not all together. But loved the food.

Great space upstairs, sadly the air conditioner struggled last night in the heat but they tried their best to accomodate for that. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend the eggplant dish and the sichuan chilli dumplings to mention a few.

We enjoyed the meal with friends and have already booked to go back next week, looking forward to the fungi again, and of course the dumplings

The salt and pepper tofu was one of best I’ve eaten. Will definitely be making this my local now that I live in the area.

The dumplings are good, steamed or pan fried. Make sure to reserve as it is quite busy. Good menu.

Lovely food with a good variety. Dumplings combined with rice and beef and black bean -made a good mix, not heavy or greasy. Kids loved it. Fast and friendly service. We'll be back.

On arrival at I love dumplings there was no warm welcome greeting of any description ( had gone to trouble of booking a table for three at 1830hrs) we were rudely told we were to be out by 8pm and they accepted cash only! We asked for 3glasses for our BYO wine... it was pretty obvious the glasses weren’t on their way anytime in the near future, I decided to go to bar and request same.. this was met with a huge inconvenience ! The staff need to try and greet their guest politely on arrival and realize a wine glass on the table is a major priority for anyone on a night out.. unfortunately this place is more interested in putting bums on seats rather than delivering good customer service ..

The food is awsome and always had quick service when eating there. The dumplings are to die for! A good feed that won’t hurt the bank.

Best dumplings in Melbourne ! Service is always great, quick to bring your Meals out that are fresh and always delicious. My fav is the chicken and prawn drumplings with sichuan chili sauce.

Love the food here . Will highly recommend , Have been here 4 times now and never had a complaint from anyone on our table . Out of 12 people everyone has been happy

Been going here for here years but despite the excellent food the deterioration of customer service meant we stopped going for over a year. Gave it one more shot and yes the food is still great but it would be nice to be welcomed with a warm smile rather than ‘you have 90 minutes to finish your meal’. Exasperated and sad. Never again!

Great food , great value, great service. We came here to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. If your looking for a causal place to eat with great food then “I Love Dimplings”

The restaurant seemed to not have our booking, but they accommodated my party of two straight away on a busy Thursday night. The steamed vegetarian dumplings with chilli sauce was lovely. However the vegetarian stir fry with curry sauce was quite 'meh', very lacking on sauce and just 'plonked' onto a plate. Dumplings are great value.

Great food as usual. Best dumplings around but felt rushed as we were told as soon as we arrived that we had only 90 minutes to stay. Seated upstairs was hot and noisy with a large group of young men carrying on.

Had the best food in this restaurant, the food was amazing, lovely atmosphere with nice staffs, really loved it, will definitely go back there, highly recommend it,

Excellent service. Dumplings not bad, other dishes excellent. Price good. Deserts excellent variety. From lava custard buns to candied apple to ‘spring roll’ apple streusel.
