Always love the food at Hutongs. Best dumplings in the city.

Food was delicious and nice ambience! Some of the best dumplings I've had.

Service was poor, was originally told it was byo then told 20 min later that it’s not. Food was very average compared to HuTong in china town and very overpriced.

Dumplings including the shao long bao and chilli won ton were yummy. Service was prompt and friendly.

I booked a table for 3 adults and 2 babies. I requested 2 high chairs which was confirmed when the restaurant rang to confirm the booking. Upon arriving the restaurant, the staff told me that I only reserved 1 high chair and told me to carry the other baby on my lap while I eat. Then he told me that the high chairs were first come first serve. I was not impressed but we ended up having a meal there are it was Father’s Day and I wanted to take my husband out with the kids. The food was so so, as we were seated quite behind the restaurant, the yumcha trolley never got to us. We had to call one of the waitresses to order our food. And one order never made it to our table. Overall, it was a disappointing day. We’ve been to HuTong before and the service and food were always good.

Food a bit average, the place lack atmosphere when not full, and décor a bit dated as well.. Service although efficient, is a bit overbearing they do seem to hover around too much for my liking.

The food was OK I think the city restaurant has better dumplings these where a bit mushy. I had the Peking duck and would prefer to make them myself as they use too much sauce and my husband doesn't eat cucumber

Overall a lovely dining experience. The chilli dumplings were the freshest we’ve ever eaten, and the Singapore noodles, yum. The service was attentive, however the price was nearly 25% more expensive than the Hu Tong in the city. Would definitely eat there again.

We had a great time with family and enjoyed the fresh modern dumpings and Chinese.

The service was not great, staff were almost all over the place. The waitress forgot some of our order so we had to order more. Food came out so randomly as well as some missing.

Service was excellent, Peking duck was disappointing, in fact I have had better from the packet at Woolworths. Cantonese beef was very disappointing as well. For eye fillet it was very chewy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall if not for the staff I would give this a 1 out of 5

The BEST Chilli wontons you can get anywhere. The sauce is to die for.

The food is, unfortunately, not the quality it used to be. The panfried dumplings no longer came in their pan with the 'dumpling wafer' and therefore lost their amazing texture, the chilli dumplings were lukewarm and the soup dumplings have lost their flavour. Additionally, we had a table next to us who, because of the table configuration kept swinging bags into our heads as they greeted each other.

The dumplings were amazing. The sizzling beef dish was very salty. But overall a good restaurant. there needs to be a few more dumpling in a serve.
