House of Delight - Glen Waverley

I went as it was a family members birthday. I'm not a huge fan of buffets, so I was concerned. Service was good, very quick to clear your plates and friendly. There was plenty of food so you couldn't complain about going home hungry if you liked the food.

Great hot pot experience where staff were very acommodating. Hot pot meats and items were fresh and deserts were delicious. Plenty of parking opposite restaurant on a Thursday night.

The photos on the website were misleading and there were not that many choices in terms of food and the dessert choices were O.K. We liked how helpful the staff were, but the tongs to pick up raw meats were right next to the ones for fresh fruit. Although the place was nice and clean, lots of floor staff, I was still a bit concerned what might happen because of the organisation of the buffet area. Overall, it was a lovely restaurant for hot pot.

Even if you book here, you still have to wait to get a spot. I got fourth position.

Lunch service has limited food offering, very basic. Porridge is way too salty.
