I have been here many times for both lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed with the food and service. Extremely good value for money combined with friendly service. Last night I took some friends there for parmi night and they were very impressed.

Great food, friendly staff, great service. Good atmosphere Bourbon ribs were a bit dry though.

Was our first visit and wanted somewhere close to the airport. Had seen good reviews and it definitely did not disappoint. All the food was amazing, but the lamb shanks were huge and super tasty. Service was swift and very friendly. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

We always enjoy our visits to the Tavern, its easy, informal and always GREAT food! No complaints on our table, everyone loved their beef-cheeks, chilli mussels and pulled pork. Happy all round! :) Thank you

having made a booking 5 days before our visit and being regulars, I expected a better table than the one we finished with. When told of our table number I asked if it could be changed for another table that was vacant only to be told it was reserved. Well what was our table, certainly not a walk in. Not good enough and we were well and truly disappointed. The service was ordinary but the food was excellent.

The food, drink and atmosphere was great. We had a good time.

The food was divine, perfect food! one of the female staff members that was on last night was quite rude, blunt and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. other than her - it would of been perfect.

Very average service, made to feel like an inconvenience when making basic requests.

I went for my daughters 18th birthday. food is absolutely great value for money and cooked excellently. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. no wonder the high Wycombe tavern has won so many awards. tis is now my favourite place to eat as a family.

meals are good, friendly service, but weekly specials need to be advertised at the table and visible for everyone to see.

Ended up with a very loud table next to us with everyone of them trying to be louder than the rest. Apart from that everything was great

Great food as always. The chairs in the smaller section of dining area are a bit low and uncomfortable compared to the main dining area. Wait staff were attentive and helpful as always.

This is our local and the food is always very good. The staff are quite friendly and helpful.

4 for dinner, 1 meal was cooked to perfection, 2 the meat was tough & the other meal was dry. They were all tasty enough though.
