Service was great, food was absolutely delicious and worth the higher price, ingredients were of high quality. They had authentic Vietnamese 333 beer as well!

Really friendly staff. Ga Don chicken w/ soy egg noodles is always a fave! The doughnut dessert's also very good.

Best birthday ever! Great service, amazing food (favorite dish is Hello Uncle!) and beautiful personalized cocktails! The atmosphere of the place is great. Make sure you book ahead because it is always busy!

Love this restaurant. My favourite Vietnamese restaurant found finally! The food is so good, the ambience is so clean and trendy and the staff are friendly.

We tried this place for lunch which was great and returned on another day for dinner which turned out to be disappointing. Service was ok and the food seemed to just miss the mark . Would I return ? Probably not ?

Fantastic restaurant - brilliant food, service and atmosphere. Great for vegetarians and vegans - our all vegetarian meal was a delight to everyone, including meat eaters. Our new favourite!

Such a shame as the food was yummy, but the service went from lax to weird to aggressive... Ended up walking out before dessert. They really need to sort that out.

Love the food and service as always but the girl that took my order tonight accidentally took the wrong amount of pho noodles and we were 2 short. She realized later and apologized a lot. Nevertheless it's still a fave restaurant of mine.

If you are wanting to eat fantastic food and have great service we highly recommend this restaurant. It's the best asian food i have eaten.

The food was excellent, in particular the vegetarian duck and the fried tofu and onion rings. The waiter service was great but the experience was marred by a particularly big-headed host with a pony-tail who ruined the evening with his pomposity and arrogance.

Always a good experience. Wait staff are friendly. And good healthy Asian food with a contemporary twist. Surry Hills experience without the hefty price tag!

Very interesting Vietnamese food, the stuffed pancake and crispy chicken in particular were delicious. Lovely friendly staff, buzzy vibe with a much warmer atmosphere than the laminated table and over- bright light of many Asian restaurants. Will certainly go again.

The food and its presentation were amazing. The ambiance is nice. We only had a mix up with one of the dishes but that was fixed promptly.

The food was fantastic some of the best asian food I have ever eaten. All the dishes we chose were very tasty. The staff were helpful and very good so excellent service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been a few times and it was great in every way. This time, the food, drinks and reservations system was great but the server caused the score to drop. She brought us menus, got us drinks then we waited for 30 minutes for her to take our food order. We waved her over several times and she would signal one minute to us then forget. We finally had to get the hostess to take our order. I'd still go back.

As good or better than Ive had in Vietnam. Will definately be back. Definatey on of the better And slightly different in he area. Try.

Staff great - help make the time in the restaurant very enjoyable - its not always just about the food - it is like a movie - you dont like every screen in a movie - but you like the total experience so if the staff were lousey it would stuff the night - them dont - they are v v good. Food - really consistent, been 4 times now & every time has been as good Cocktails - very good

Amazing service, spectacular food, great atmosphere! The Pho with the lot is a must, and the pikelets are incredible! Their slushie cocktails are also a bit of fun, being served with test tubes and popping candy! Highly recommend!

Food and service are never a disappointment here! We were lucky enough to get a dinner booking on a Saturday, and fully enjoyed our night, as always.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney! The food and service are always amazing, I have now almost tried everything on the menu, after my 7th visit..... Definitely great value, prices are very reasonable for the quality of the dishes, and you can taste the love! Can't wait for my 8th time dining at Hello Auntie :)

Expectations blown away! The service was terrific and friendly, the food was superb and good prices! Highly recommend. I will certainly go and again and be sure to book as there was no space for walk-ups.

The staff were excellent, very accommodating as there was a mix up with our booking, which I will be speaking to Quandoo about, but the maitre de was so helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered and what had been recommended by the waitress. The menu is different to their website so don't worry too much about reading previous reviews or studying it before you get there. We probably would give the desserts a miss next time. We got one of each (3) between the 8 of us just to try. The doughnuts were the best but probably didn't need the avocado cheesecake. Not as noisy as most restaurants considering the number of people. A very enjoyable night.

Easily one of the best new-school Viet restaurants I've been to. Food is delicious and vibes are on point. If only there was better parking in Marrickville!

Great cocktails, good choice of quality wines. Food was absolutely delicious although the "hello uncle" beef shin was very small in size, especially as it was cast under the large eats! It should be classed as small or medium, this is something they need to rectify. In saying this the taste was incredible. Service good, but needs polishing. Overall a a great restaurant/bar and definitely needed in Marrickville.

Good Vietnamese food, not street food, in a very good environment. The service was friendly but they didn't always know what they were bringing us.

Food was absolutely delicious, the banh xeo and banh khot are amazing. Only issue was it was very loud. If you have any concerns about allergies make sure that you double check with them. Also make sure that you book as it has been very busy every time I have been. Will definitely be going back.

Delicious food; great wait staff; good wine list; reasonable prices; only down side is that it's very noisy. Will definitely be returning, the best and most innovative Viet food in Sydney

Food was exceptional. The duck salad especially. The waitress, although pleasant, was vonfused as to what dushes we had been served and this took some time to clarify. As you only have a two hr sitting this wasn't so good. Tables are small and as it's a share menu makes managing space a problem. Still, will go back

Alwaya a great dining experience. The crispy pancake and pho are always a must. Tasty and nicely presented food that's reasonably cheap. Nice modern ambiance. Service good too. Only downside were: BYO only on Wed, and fried 1kg wings were really crispy (good!) but lacked spices. Overall is still 1 of our fave restaurants 👍🏼
