We always have a fantastic time dining at this atmospheric Mexican restaurant, great food wonderful friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere . Music, colour, a lovely view .. we will always go back again.😊

After a recommendation from a good friend we decide to head here to celebrate my partners birthday. Beautiful spot right across from the water, huge array of choices, booking was easy and staff were friendly and helpful (especially after we had to add a few extras to the booking late) food was EXCEPTIONAL 😍 and very quick. Definitely will be back! Only note would be the tables are EXTREMLY STICKY, we were told this is due to the sanitiser used that has eaten into the table top coating.

Had a fun, delicious lunch! Hecho has a fun, lively atmosphere that made our family lunch even more enjoyable. The service was good, though it would have been nice if all meals came out closer together - we waited over 10 minutes between first and last.

I really enjoyed this place as I have never been here before, the food and staff were amazing

First time visiting Hecho en Mexico. I had heard good reviews and my expectations were met. Will be back.

Great meal and margarita. Prompt service. A bit too pushy on the service without time to read menu. But hey they were prompt.

Nice restaurant. Had requested a corner table and pre booked it a week in advance. We still did not get a table on the corner. The food was alright but there were a bunch of unruly and loud people sitting besides us which ruined the whole experience.

Music up way too loud - hence everyone just had to try and chat to the person next to them. Not sure why this is the “thing to do!” Food was nice!

Food and service is really good! Prawn and fish Tacos my favorites.

Food is always good, the cocktails are great and we went for my sons 18th and they all came out and sang happy birthday. Embarrassed him totally - fantastic!!!

Two burritos of the same kind were ordered at our table, however one was ordered with no beans. When brought to the table waiter put one down in front of the person who had ordered no beans. Then when he came back with the second one he said the first one had beans so it had to be given to the person that had ordered it and the second one replaced it. Once people started eating the meals it became apparent the waiter was incorrect in which burrito had beans inside. Also burritos with no option for adding guacamole were very dry. Meals also generally small in size considering the cost.

My main nachoes had about 12 corn chips in it and minimal topping. For $25 I was disappointed. The staff didn’t ask if we wanted anything further when collecting our plates and would have ordered more because my main was mini. The food itself was yum just not enough of it.

The manager needs to review the chefs ingredients for cooking. I love mexican food and have been eating it all my life. I have never had mexican rice that was soo hot my lips went numb. The same with the fajitas. These were not marked as hot at all. I couldn't eat them. The churro donut cup was missing the cinnamon sugar and because of the shape you had alot of trouble eating eat. Couldn't even cut it with a knife as it was soo hard. Maybe just ordinary churros instead of a design that obviously does not work for simple eating. Also ordered a sangria blanco which was meant to have fruit in it...asked twice for fruit...it had 3 tiny pieces of pineapple. Where's the orange, strawberries?? It was sooo cold like deep freezer could..couldnt drink it.

Staff were extremely friendly and attentive, food was delicious and prepared quickly, cocktails were presented well and very tasty. They also surprised me by singing happy birthday and received a free tequila shot! One of the best outings I’ve experienced:)

After seeing the state of the toilets I wish I never ate there! And the service was poor, no one checking at the table to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else, had to flag someone down. Also very expensive for small serves.

I changed the number of people of my booking like 30 minutes before our booking and the restaurant accommodated us and the food was incredible. Service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff were friendly and very attentive, the food was good. Unfortunately, I did not realise they played Happy Birthday over the speakers when it was someone’s birthday - which happened 3 times that night. Not to be a party pooper but the song is played so loud that the speakers react and it hurts your ears. After the 3rd time, my friend and I left. We will not be returning for this reason.

Staff very nice, food fantastic. Little too loud in there but that’s hard to be helped when stupid parents bring in their loud infants/toddlers who aren’t there for the food.
