We went for the Day of The Dead and it was nothing special, to be honest. No face painting, hats or prizes as promoted. Very disappointing. We were accommodated outside and didn't feel the event at all. The food was disappointing too. Too fried calamari, tacos that look like burritos. The only good thing was the margaritas.

Paying $3 for a small amount of guac was pretty ridiculous and annoying. Everything else was good, would just build in guac cost into meals if I were organising the menu.

The service was outstanding there for my daughters birthday had a variety of starters and mains all delicious 🤤 followed by yummy deserts the desert nacho could have done with a few more strawberry 🍓 but all stood...

It's one of those places that thinks adding guacamole on something makes it Mexican. Pretty good flavours in some dishes and would do for a drunk feed with mates but I'm fussy when it comes to mexican.

Nice location. Food was ok, not life changing. Medium spicy was actually medium which is impressive

The food is delicious and well-served. Customer service isn't the best but it's good enough. They charge extra for the guacamole which I think is weird for a mexican restaurant. Good value for money.

My group didn’t have any food, we just had the ‘frozen margaritas’. The margaritas weren’t frozen though as they said they were busy and that’s why they were just liquid. The margaritas were pretty average overall - flavours weren’t that nice. I could see full drinks left on tables, so obviously other people didn’t like them either. On the plus side, Maria was a great waitress, so friendly and fun!

Loved going upstairs being cosy and warm. Food came out quite quick, we werent in any hurry but guess thats ok. Food tasted very good and portion sizes were satisfactory. Taco shell was abit soggy due to the sauce- only real complaint. Would also love option for hard tacos. Waitress and service was good.

Unfortunately the food had no flavour and was very bland. When our food arrived it was not hot either. Sangria was also very watered down. Overall a disappointing experience. Staff were very friendly and food did come out quickly.

Forgot part of order one meal was cold. Some food ordered never came. Pretty average service. More interested in Uber type orders. Won’t be returning

Amazing food fun atmosphere! The vegetarian tacos were lovely and the pricing was reasonable. My friends said the fish tacos were great too, when you ask for hot they deliver !

Good food and okay service. We ate paella which was delicious. The restautant was full so it took quite a long time to get the check and waiters seemed to be in a hurry all the time. Otherwise a nice experience.

Food is mediocre at best. Had high hopes from the vibe and aesthetic but was sorely disappointed. As we walked down Fitzroy afterwards saw some Mexican places that looked and smelled like they would have been much better.

I hate to do this as a hospo professional myself but the service was absolutely terrible. We waited a long time to be greeted after sitting on what was not a busy night. The music was so loud our server didn't hear part of our order which is understandable but after asking 3 times about our appetizer they finally figured out it was never even put through. There was an obvious hair in my water but I don't fuss too much about those things. My food came out ages before anyone else's so I got to watch it become cold before everyone else received their mains. Our 2 rounds of shots each took more than 10 minutes to ¿prepare? despite being seated directly in front of the bar. We were never checked in on or offered another round so we spent most the night trying to chase down a server. At one point the wrong drinks come out and when I acknowledged it the waitress left them on the table, stood their blank faced and said unaccommodatingly "Well... Do you waaant me to take them back." So to be a good patron we said it's fine and drank something we knew we wouldn't enjoy. When you have customers come in who for their first round order the most expensive things on the menu that means their here to have fun and spend some money. Maybe give them a little bit of your time because chances are they also tip well. I will say this I love the decor and the food is the bomb. The kitchen also works very hard filling all the uber eats orders and considering this most of our food came out very quickly.

This a very relaxed restaurant, the staff are very friendly, the food is really tasty and it is reasonably priced I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely staff, delicious food, good vibes. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the food was wonderful. Jalapeno poppers were a definite highlight. Will definitely be back

Went there with a group of 10 people. Food (as always) was fantastic. Always fresh. Would recommend to anybody who has a bit of a passion for mexican food!
