Great place for Mexican food and drinks! Amazing margaritas! Cheers
Food good, music was terrible. Choice of mainstream music would appeal to a wider audience.
The restaurant wasn't open and they didn't pay us the curtiousy of letting us know they weren't re-opening. So we went to Montezumas instead
Booked in on public holiday, site said open and receive three confirmation emails. Got to restaurant to find it was closed. All social media stated restaurant was open. Really disappointing
Service wasn't great. Had to follow up our food and the food was average
No atmosphere. Poor service. Poor menu. Didn’t eat any food.
Good service, good food and fun decor, although a bit overpriced for what it is.
Quiet and pleasant atmosphere for made a great place to catch up with friends on a week night. Happily catered to my vegan preference.
Went on a cold Adelaide night, no heating, tiled floor so was quite cold. Service was good and friendly, food good but not exceptional. Good to support a local business.
Your staff was very helpful and friendly .The food was delilous and we always have the nachos and cheese dip
Food and presentation of the food was fine. Low rating due to three hairs found in our jugs of margarita. We dismissed the first hair, but when the second jug haf two, so we complained. The hair was short and black, and clearly did not belong to anyone at our able (all blonds and brunette), however the restaurant denied it was theirs, noting at least two of the kitchen staff had sort black hair. We left after sunking around $700 into the business (11 people) disgusted. I do note it is under new management, we wondered if it was a disgruntled employee, as it was a lot of hair to loose.
Overall fabulous meals and service. Potato skins tasted a little burned. Sangria was delightful. Staff were all very polite and accommodating. Will be back for sure.
Great friendly service Service.. Great food AAAAA++++.. We would be happy to return and bring friends. Nothing was to much at for the staff at Gringos
Great service - yummy food- good experience Used to go there years ago gets better every time we visit Definitely will visit again when we are in Glenelg
Best enchilada and sangria in Adelaide. Chicken or pulled beef. Great service, staff are very friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to going back again soon. Thanks Gringos!
Great food as usual & service. Staff very friendly recommended the Beef Burrito.
Servings very small food was okay chicken tasted weird juice was very good taste great nothing wrong with the service very friendly staff decent atmosphere
Or group ordered a variety of Mexican food dishes, all of which were delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our children end the decor with maps and knickknacks scattered throughout the restaurant, which gave a lovely feel to the dining space.
It was a bit akward since we were the only people there on a Sunday at 12:45. There was no music so it was earily quiet. The food was good. Why are the prices for the entrees so close to the main meals?
The food was lovely as always...nachos are divine but maybe a little overpriced...still worth it. Service was a little slow considering it wasn't all that busy. A very relaxed environment with nice atmosphere and the frozen lemon margaritas are THE highlight.
Great family day for Mother’s Day, grandchildren love Mexican, so we were looking for Nachos, Quesadillas and Gringo provided them. Attentive service. Always been a favourite.
The food was very good, one of the better Mexican restaurants that I have been to. The meals arrived at our table quickly. I used the toilets and they were very clean.
The enchiladas are yummy & not too spicy, my girlfriend who doesn’t usually eat spicy food loved them. The pot of fries was good value too. We will go there again.
great food reasonable prices service little bit slow at times
Motorbikes revving up outside the whole time detracted from our enjoyment. Plates were chipped. Nachos were superb. Staff were wonderful. No air con. Evaporative cooling effective though. Music a bit loud and grating. Would go back cos of food and staff.
We never got to eat there, because we were held up by road works and arrived 15 minutes late to be told our table had been given away. This I would have accepted if they didn't then go on to say they tried to call me, and put the blame on me for not answering. I showed my phone to them, no call from them at all.
Great venue - easy to book. First time eating Mexican in a restaurant & was happy with the quality of food served. Good customer service.
Excellent food and drink. We had a great time. I can certainly vouch for the beef taquitos being awesome and sangria is right on the money
Its fine, it does what it promises. The staff don't really engage with you but they do their job without any problem or complaint. The food is all a bit heavy, it would be nice to have a fresher option.
Great friendly staff and good food. Little noisy due to road traffic but a good quick feed in a handy location. Will visit again recommend
The staff was very friendly with fast service, food had great prices and food was very tasty and came out fast. Would definitely come back again
Loved it . Service was quick and easy. The food didn't take long at all to be served. Tasted amazing. Definitely going back can't wait
Good food.nice location and good drinks menu. Friendly staff but service was a bit slow . Overall not a bad experience will go back again
The food at Gringo's is very well priced for what you get. I enjoyed a delicious enchilada for $20 which wich was presented with rice and salad; the serving was generous. Although it was a Saturday night and it is expected that the food will not come out straight away, we did have to wait 55 minutes for our food to be served. The staff were very friendly and were happy to help. Overall, it was a very nice meal out, it would have been improved if we had lesser time to wait for our food.
The Friendly staff were on hand throughout our night the service was excellent and extremely quick. The menu was awesome and our food was an orgasam for the taste buds. Thoroughly recommend.
The nachos I ordered was nice, but not the best I've had at Gringo's. Not quite enough cheese and frijoles. I asked for jalapeños, but there were too many - it doesn't have to be coated in them. As always, the guacamole was a stand out - lovely!
The service wasn't great. Food was delicious. It was a very noisy restaurant as cars were driving past and the music was so loud you couldn't speak.
The service was fast; we ordered and had our meals (party of 5) within 10 mins, and the food was delicious. Servings were generous, and a highchair was available for our youngest. The only downside was that it was very noisy due to the loud engined vehicles going past the open frontage. With no physical barrier, those engines reverberated right through the restaurant but as it was fairly empty at the time, it was probably worse than usual.
Friendly staff, the food was great and good value for money. Restaurant was clean neat and tidy. Will definitely be going back again for a meal.
friendly service, good food, pleasant clean environment with friendly bird., Well located and on sunny days pleasant outdoor area. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food served.
Our booking through here didn't go through but the staff at Gringos were amazing and found us a table in the end. Food was amazing and sangria was even better.
Amazing food, I think the best Mexican at Glenelg. Waitresses could be a little more up beat, stood at the counter for a couple of minutes with one with her head down readin and didn't notice us for a while
