Very interesting Italian restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food. Lot of young female diners. We went as a family to celebrate end of exam period. The cheese wheels are really novel and great to watch dishes being made.

I had the gnocchi tonight because I couldn’t resist. Others at my table had other meals and we’re equally happy with the quality and flavour. Thanks so much godi la vida!!! You’re the best!

Food was delicious, wine very nice selection. The staff friendly. They did forget cutlery for dessert, but that’s a minor thing. Overall comfortable and enjoyable. Would go again.

Service wasn’t that great. Casual dining for a pricey menu. The waiter couldn’t explain the menu and had to get someone else to do so. Average and probably wouldn’t go back.

This is the second time I have had the Nicoise Salad and it has be perfection both times! So delicious and the staff are very attentive. Highly recommend.

The food was incredible. Not your stock standard dishes.. best Italian food in Australia. In fact, I’ve had pasta in Italy and it wasn’t this good.

Very obliging staff, my friend had dietary requirements which were accommodated with no fuss, the chef came out at the end of the meal to see if everything was OK. Very enjoyable experience, good food. Will be back

This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. Little pricey for the food but fun and kind staff. Nice table by the open door and great glass of wine from Italy!

Food was very good without being excellent. Cheese wheels are a nice novelty. Staff were generally nice, however after being seated for a few minutes we were approached by a waitress who told us that they had double booked the table so we would have to get out by 7:20....... wasn’t a great start and could have been put a little better

We both had pasta dishes for dinner. The cheese wheel mushroom pasta is always a winner. Friendly service and warm atmosphere. Definitely will be dining again.

It was really cool to see all the flames from the cheese wheels. Definitely a unique restaurant. Everyone was lovely and was seated right away.

Great food and great atmosphere. Would come back. The signature cheese wheel pasta is worth the hype. Only downside is you get so full from all the carbs!

Staff were really friendly, good ambiance, plus awesome food. We ordered the parmesan cheese wheel pasta & bistecca tagliata - both dishes were lovely. Serving sizes are decent too.

The food was quite nice, however the portion sizes were very poor, and well over priced. We ordered mojito’s and were served two non-alcoholic versions without being advised that this was the only option on the menu. We were in and out in half an hour. The experience was all too fast. We would not return

Fantastic food and lovely service. Booked and seated with no issue, nice decor and ambience in the restaurant. Invited to see the cheese and pasta melt, again the food was absolutely divine. Definitely will return! Thanks team Godi x

there was good food and a good atmosphere while the waitress immediately brought water to the table and asked if we wanted to watch the food being cooked in the cheese wheel.

Loved the whole experience! The staff made sure they let us know when our pasta are cooking on the cheese wheel so we can enjoy the whole experience :-)

The Food is good but we got pretty full quickly as there was too much cheese given in a plate of pasta and spaghetti. Love the atmosphere. Staff are friendly.

The waiter said they’d call us over when they were making our pastas in the cheese wheel so we could marvel at the spectacle. Moments later without a mention, our pasta was served straight to our table. So we feel we got cheated on the cheese wheel experience. Albeit the food was delicious and service was good but couldn’t justify the price of the pasta without seeing it in the cheese wheel!

Food was absolutely delicious. A tad expensive but good if you’re celebrating something. But even after telling staff that we were celebrating we did not recieve our complimentary desert platter.

Tables were a bit close together so it felt a bit squashed, but otherwise, it was a great experience. The cheese wheel pastas were delicious.

We had nice brunch - I had the great value eggs of choice, italian sausage, mushrooms, tomato and coffee only $20. Hollandaise sauce & poached eggs with asparagus yummy too.

I love Godi La Vita - for dinner - but unfortunately, breakfast/brunch needs a bit of work...I hadn't been for a while, so had forgotten that this has happened every other time: 4 of us struggled to cut the toast under our eggs and the toast is never buttered, I always have to ask for it (why is toast not buttered??? or at least, butter provided?!). The bread is yummy, yes, but it is impossible to cut, basically need a steak knife, or as my other half did, you might just give up. Portion size wise, it's borderline on the small side - lots of extras offered as options at a cost, but the basic serving size depending on your dish, is a little underwhelming. That all said, the coffee is good, the taste of the food is always good, the roasted tomatoes are delicious and always well cooked which I find is often not the case at other places. The staff are friendly and helpful, and were accommodating when my Dad requested a different table which was much appreciated given they were no doubt going to be busy, although on that note, being busy by the time we had ordered, we were then left alone with empty plates until we got up to pay, so feel like perhaps being Father's Day, an extra hand on staff might have been needed...! Overall, I'll be back for dinner before I'm back for breakfast, but I will be back, just hope some minor tweaks are made for the earlier shifts...

Great food and service! Today is my wife’s birthday, we choose this restaurant to celebration. The waiter suggest us to order a special cake. That cake is amazing, very beautiful and taste wonderful! An awesome experience!

Godi la Vita is definitely a restaurant I will be visiting again. The food was delicious and the staff were fabulous. Prices are reasonable. You definitely get what you pay for.

Awesome environment, good food! Tried the truffle cheese wheel pasta and I’ll definitely be coming back to try other pasta dishes. Just wished they offered more variety to non alcoholic and non carbohydrated drinks.

Disappointed with the food. Perhaps it's the traditional Italian way, however the pasta was undercooked and chewy. Bread was delicious. Staff were friendly but one was obviously new and didn't understand when we asked for butter, or for the bill. Overall, not what I expected.

Hello we went to Godi la vita for lunch for my daughter’s birthday. As soon has we entered the staff were so welcoming friendly happy and very pleasant. We sat at are reserved table and began looking at their menu, we have eaten here before so no matter what you choose it will be delicious. We all chose a different meal and yes they were beautifully cooked and presented and of course delicious. While your waiting for your meal you can go up to the counter and watch chiefs preparing a pasta meal at the cheese wheel .Their dessert menu is equally fabulous again we all chose a different dessert they are all delicious so hard to pick one. Again they were beautifully prepared and presented. We’ll certainly return to Godi la vita again and again. A very happy and enjoyable meal. Thank you.

Delicious food as always! The staff are very friendly and the place has a lovely warm atmosphere. We've been a few times already and I'm sure we'll be back.

This is one of Adelaide’s unique Restaurants. The dishes are exquisite and a true reflection of the Chefs experience and love for food. Have been there on numerous occasions, everything from the beautiful gnocchi, the cheese wheel pastas and seafood dishes are all unbelievable. Always 10/10 this place is highly recommend.

Amazing food! The Parmesan Cheese Wheel pasta is so good, cannot wait to go back and eat again to try more of the delicious menu including their vast vegan menu options.

The food was exceptionally good. I haven't had a pasta where I'd polished off the whole bowl in ages. Highly recommend. My only negative is that our table was next to the till and my chair kept getting bumped by staff and people paying.

Friendly staff and great food! Even my 2 years old son enjoyed the food :) I highly recommend the pasta with cheese (cannot remember the name but it is one of their signature dishes).

A great casual vibe, excellent service and great Italian food. Drinks were a little expensive. Food came out quickly and service was spot on. Plenty of choices on the menu to tempt every palate.

Great place, good ambience and fantastic pasta, especially the cheese wheel options are quite a novelty. However the seafood we ordered was average, way too salty.

They had delicious food but I find the servings way too small especially for the price you pay. Coffee also seemed a lot more expensive. The restaurant itself is quite nice too.
