Love coming to Godi La Vita - food is always great as is the service!
Beautiful dinner - Cheese wheel pasta, deep dish pizza, salad and dessert shared. Lovely service and nice setting
The service from the moment we walked in was a disappointment. We were made to go to the counter to find our table (which we had a booking for) whilst 2 staff members walked past without even acknowledging us. When we were finally taken to our table and ready to order we had to go to the counter to ask if we could order, in which we were told someone would come to take our order. The girl who took our order was rude and disinterested and lacked manners. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out (the restaurant wasn’t even close to being full) and food took a further 45 minutes. However, the food was great which was at least one good element. Would not recommended.
Food was amazing, dinner and a show would highly recommend
Thank you so much for a wonderful meal and a lovely evening
Very tasty food. Looking forward to have another dinner there!
Amazing food and amazing services. Staff always asked how things were going and made sure the food and drinks were satisfying.
great ambience very busy for a Friday night.....waited over an hour for our food....food not that bad but very pricey for what it is Service was poor we have to ask twice for our order....and to top it off we ordered a take away pizza with our main meal only to be told that they run out when we reminded them we are ready for the take away pizza to be made....that's annoying they should have put it aside...maybe they can't cater for more than 4 people :( this will be on one of my not to be recommended restaurants
Staff were fantastic. Service was quick. We got asked if we wanted to see our pasta being made in the cheese wheel. It was a treat.
Absolutely loved the novelty of pasta been soaked in melted cheese and that 1kg feel dish pizza. Great service though be prepared to wait for your meal - greatness takes time.
Service could be better with drinks, but other than that, best pasta I’ve ever had in my life, highly recommend
Great atmosphere, great food and the owner is so lovely. Definitely one of my favourite places to go for a plate of pasta!
Amazing food and brilliant service! Went for my birthday dinner and the lovely waitress accidentally dropped the cake! Out of their love they paid for my meal and also gave the entire table a glass of moscato! Lovely lovely experience! God bless the wonderful staff :)
Good food and nice staff. Recommend the crispy pumpkin gnocchi!
The most low end, over priced food I’ve consumed in my life. Flavour -10, service -20. Yuck! Horrible is an understatement!!!!!!!
Amazing as usual, we brought friends with us and they loved it just as much as us :)
The experience was great and perfect much enjoyed it! Good work
Having wanted to eat at Godi La Vita since it opened, it was so worth the wait! The food is AMAZING and the staff couldn't do more for us. Thank you all!
The food and service were top class, will certainly be back again soon.
Our server - I believe her name was Maddy - was awesome, watching the cheese bowl pasta was amazing and it tasted insanely good! Loved it here and definitely recommend it to anyone.
Our favourite place we can’t fault it, it’s a must
Food was great but the service could be a little better
We had the cheese wheel tonight and we went over to see it get cooked. So entertaining and the chef is so friendly and warm. Thank you Godi La Vita!!
Our fav place to eat never disapoints. Had to have the gnocchi ragu again as i cant resist. I have been telling everyone about this place :)
As always very enjoyable food and atmosphere. we are now regulars. The Pasta is to die for and i will not eat pasta anywhere else especially the gnocchi.
beautiful food and too many to choose from (can't make up my mind, so i will come back again to try other on the menu with family), good service, will definitely come back for more
Food and atmosphere were all great! For a last minute booking they were very accommodating
Was recommended to go here. The atmosphere and service was wonderful but was not overly impressed with the food. Will order something different next time
Very pricey - won't let a table of three share two pastas - insisted that we had to order a main each. Dessert was $18 for a chocolate cake not much bigger than my fist. Cheese Wheel Pasta is fun and exciting but I will not return.
It is the nicest Italian food I have ever tasted. I had guests at my table that have been all around the world and they were blown away with the quality and taste of all their meals. Outstanding customer service. Friendly. Efficient. Personable. The whole evening was a fabulous experience. I cannot compliment the chef enough. Definitely taking my friends back there again.
The food and beverage prices don’t match the service and ambiance. It sets expectations high which unfortunately can lead to disappointment. Our reservation was confirmed in the morning over the phone , we were promptly told to not overstay our welcome past 1.45hrs and to not be late for our 6.30 boking. Our Glassware had someone else’s lipstick on it. Food was ok though. To be honest we couldn’t taste the cheese which was a bit disappointing it was lost in the sauce. That cheese wheel concept works well with white based sauces or plain pasta. Also surprised about the price of $8.50 for a lemon lime bitters? With these prices, there some really amazing places in Adelaide, with really experienced authentic table service and amazing fit outs. The food here is ok but not enough to compete with Adelaide’s fresh and diverse dining experiences. When we had finished our meals the young waitress asked “are you done?” And just took the plates. It felt very touristy to be told to go and watch your pasta being tossed in the cheesewheel, not really our thing but I can understand why people would want to try this place for that reason. It just didn’t feel authentic, just staged.
Godi la Vita was great from the start of the booking so easy! Got a park easy and was able to enjoy the views of the restaurant straight away! Great great great food and quality views
Amazing Lunch Food and service was A grade. Had the deep dish pizza and the 3 specialty cheese pastas. Couldnt fault any of them. Would come again!
Food was absolutely amazing, a ranking balls for an entree and cheese wheel pasta for mains. They really put on a show with the cheese wheel pastas, and they taste as greal as they look. Service was excellent. Felt so fat when I left!
Amazing food! Their pasta is delicious and the service is exceptional. Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again.
Poor service. Waited for Eva for drinks. We were there for 2.5 hours and only got 2 beers. Asked for steak medium. It was rare still bloody. Didn’t clear table for a hour after we had finish the Mains.
Great food and service. We had the pasta in the cheese wheel and it was amazing! I had a dark chocolate cake for dessert and it was also delicious!
the Food was magnificent, from the savoury to sweet not one issue. The staff were all lovely and the choice of options to have suited everyone who came for dinner
Great atmosphere, the food was to die for and the service was just outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody for a great night out.
Food was great, we will be back again for sure
Lovely food and friendly service with a great menu. We didn't feel rushed so able to enjoy a nice relaxed evening. We will be back!
The head chef and owner is a genius in the kitchen, closest thing to Italy in all of Adelaide hands down, luscious flavour every time without fail, the new deep dish pizza is to die for, haven’t experienced this signature anywhere else.
Excellent service very friendly staff. Great food with a good wine list. Nice Italian experience. Pasta cook in parmisan wheel is simply fantastic and arancini as well Thank you
Amazing food. I had seen the pictures and immediately wanted to try it, but I didn't expect it to taste as good as it looked. But it tasted better!! Will definitely be back.
Excellent service, good variety on the menu and food that was truly amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying some fantastic Italian cuisine.
Service was friendly and the food is fantastic and of good quality. We tried the deep pan pizza and a cheese wheel pasta which left us very happy.
Great food, so many choices. Would definitely come back again
Food was incredible and I am already looking forward to going back again! The staff were helpful and attentive, and although a couple of the wines on the list and one of the specials on their board were unavailable, the food and wine we ended up having were fantastic. I haven't stopped talking about it! Very much looking forward to going back again and working my way through their amazing menu :)
