Geonbae - Hastings

We went to celebrate a 13 year old birthday on a cold and rainy Monday night. The staff were wonderful - patient, friendly and helpful with a bunch of excited children/teenagers. It was an amazing experience for the children to be able to cook their own food. A great range of food options available including vegetarian. Its a great atmosphere inside too, with the brass vents adding a cool steampunk vibe the boys loved.

We all enjoyed the experience..as we have never done this style of restaurant in Australia before. All food was great. I just wish the staff had of taken an extra couple of minutes to explain how the 'korean style cooking ' works and they didn't bother to ask about drinks . We didn't even know if we had to go to bar ,or they come to us . We weren't even given a drinks menu. Once we got it all sorted. The experience and food was great.

This was our first time trying Korean BBQ, what a great way to eat. There was a huge choice of good quality meats and accompaniments. The food was delicious (cooked to perfection 😂) And as our table of 8 discovered a very social way to eat. We wish we had a similar place closer to where we live, Sorrento would be amazing. But we will definitely be back.

It was awesome the new Buffett set up. Such a great range of food options to select from and then you cook it yourself at your table exactly when you want it and how you want it cooked. The staff were also so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend you give it a try as you want be disappointed

We were greeted as soon as we entered. Staff were very helpful and gave us a few tips on what sauces go with what. The food and experience was amazing. Definitely would recommend. Family friendly. We had all 3 of our children with us and many other families were there too.The seating arrangement accommodates to all, big and small groups.

Food here is brilliant, staff are very welcoming and were always available. Plenty of plate changes and loads of food options.

Great selection of meats and seafood! We love that there was even a bingsu machine (which is highly uncommon!). We loved the mussels and samgyupsal pork belly the most! Prices are okay for a KBBQ Buffet (there is cheaper), but given its location is a bit further out, and it's one of very few options down the peninsula way, I'm not surprised it's at a bit of a premium. Will definitely be back though!

Meat and vegetables were fresh, selection of meat was good, bingsu is a welcome difference to other Korean BBQ restaurants I’ve been to. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends!

Lovely experience, My Bf loved it there, and he stated he wants to come back for our anniversary soon, which we very much will be doing, He's already thinking of who we can invite to join us next time. The staff was lovely, and the range of food was really good, the only downside is you need a tray if you want to get more than one dish without it going cold, as bay Marie dishes seemed to be a little bit on the cooler side of life, but that didn't stop us from going back for seconds. Both are very excited to go back. Garlic chicken is amazing!!
