Geonbae - Frankston

All staff from the moment we arrived were very friendly, their service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Geonbae was a bit of fun - something different. Staff very happy to welcome and assist. They could add a little more vegetable into the bbq selections - half a slice of sweet potato and zucchini per serve of the banquet menu is a bit mean. Although appetites were satisfied happily while experiencing a variation of tastes.

Really nice interior and prompt service. Yummy side dishes and dumplings. Didn't know the place existed-tucked at the back of Nepean Hwy overlooking the Kananook creek.

Very enjoyable venue, great food and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend this Korean Restaurant . We enjoyed the banquet for two and it was very filling.

Great setting and tasty food. Korean beer on tap and tasting paddles if you can't decide. Recommend a banquet..make sure that you come with a good appetite.

We felt that they cooked the food so quickly, we didnt even have time to digest, also that they wanted us out the door quickly, we were in and out in 1 hour thats not good with us.

Amazing food, especially the beef and the dumplings. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was great, with the staff cooking our food at our table.

From the time we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The staff explained how to mix dishes and made surevwe would be able to eat the spicey foods. We tried the large banquet and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Top marks to all staff on the night

Couldnt have been better, staff were extremely helpful and enjoyed a chat. Would 100% come back, and cannot wait to try again. Also bonus is you can takeaway what you havent finished.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. It was not too noisy, good atmosphere & ambiance and excellent service, which was also timed nicely. Pricing was very reasonable for quality food and wine. Second time we have been there and we will definitely go again.

It was a bit average to be honest. Bibimbap was ok, but our starters were under cooked and had to be sent back. It was then so sweet that I couldn't really enjoy it. If you are a big meat eater, which I'm not, then this is probably the place for you.

We had a wonderful night at Geonbae, the food was excellent and the hospitality could not be faulted. The $45 set menu was amazing, my favourite was the Korean fried chicken. It was fantastic also to have the BBQ cooked at our table, I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Had the Set menu no 1 for 2 people: Bland mains with pretty much a little bit of meat and a few tiny pieces of vegetables. Could have made it at home for $5 Pleasent setting and not a bad location. Staff were proactive however too much so, taking away sides and sauces before we had even finished eating them. Then cooking the mains before we had finished our entre's. felt very rushed and still leaving hungry. Very dissapointing.

A bit to loud it was really busy and really loud I'm not sure what u can do but its so noisy but really nice

They seemed a little short staffed at the time, as they where running all over the place. But the food was great and the experience is a very enjoyable one

Super food and excellent service looking forward to going back often. Green tea cocktail was great, bulgogi tasty and well cooked at the table, fun to see the cooking happening, kids were very welcome but no kids menu, they loved the chicken

Delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere. Bbq at the table is a must. We especially loved the Kim chi pancake and the ice cream dessert!

Great! Whole fried chicken was great- a big portion. Sticky Pork was good, bit salty. Kimbap and dumplings were amazing. Staff was very nice and quick. We went with a pram and they were very accomodating! Thumbs up!

Our first time at Geonbae, and we found good Korean food and drink, good atmosphere, great staff, A little noisy once the restaurant is full.

Food was delicious! The cooking of the Korean BBQ at your table was great and unobtrusive - you could ask questions or continue with your table convo. The decor and atmosphere was nice too. Overall, a lovely afternoon spent with friends!
