A bit pricey but the food was nice and the atmosphere and staff were great. The BBQ was good, I recommend getting the beef. :)

Loved the light, refreshing and unique banquet of Korean food. Been years since I've dined like this, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Fast and friendly service, and having your own chef cook right in front of you provided a more personalized and social experience not commonly found in other cuisines. Thank you Geonbae staff for making my birthday with family feel so memorable. Would definitely go back there :)

Great restaurant along the Frankston Foreshore area. Staff are attentive and the tables well spaced out so your're not rubbing elbows with strangers. Portion sizes are also generous. Overall a good evening out.

If you like Korean then try Geonbae in Frankston. Keep going back for both the food and service. Chicken is just the best but Kimchi, Pork and accompaniments are all first rate and the beer is cold.

I could not fault a single thing at Geonbae. The service was excellent, the food amazing and the servings very generous. We had the $50 set banquet and we could not finish the final dish we were so full! Definitely will go back again!

Loved eating here. It was our first time after being recommended. The service and the staff were great. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Location is ideal too especially on a warm night. Will definitely return.

Fantastic service! The food is amazing, something for everyone. Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Love spice! All are catered for. I've been three times in three months and am looking for another reason to go. Truly a great place, highly recommended.

We ordered wrong dish, our fault. Whole chicken. Unhealthy and far too fatty for our liking. Should've ordered something else. Staff were a little over zealous in wanting us to keep buying drinks. But would give it another go.

Great location overlooking the creek and the bay. Beautifully laid out restaurant with intimate booths and bigger tables for larger groups, plus outdoor seating for warmer days. The food was great. We did not have the BBQ as were short on time, but the spicy chicken for one, prepared in the kitchen rather than at table was excellent. the dumplings are also good. Good wine and Korean beer selection. Can't wait to go again!

went there for my sons 31st birthday and all 3 of us loved it - magnificent food full of flavour and lots of it soooo full afterwards. The staff are very friendly and helpful will definitely be back

Once we were seated the food came out very quickly, perhaps a fraction too quickly, we probably needed a bit more of a break between courses. The staff were charming and attentive. The quality of food was outstanding. Maybe you should give customers a bit more warning about the portion sizes. I was defeated by the volume.

Today I went to the restaurant and it was great food and waitress was very nice with assistance 😁

First time there as we were recommended but maybe the evening wasnt right as we had a full house making it very noisy and hard to hear our fiends-the food was pretty ordinary -nothing to rave about-not cheap and the chicken was dry and over cooked-not really many flavours and the prices for drink was outrageous.

My wife and I totally enjoyed the meal. I am person who doesn't like dumplings, however George dumplings were fantastic flavor and wife thought the same. We also loved their pancakes. We will be going again.

Geonbae Restaurant at Frankston is one of the best places to eat in Victoria. Excellent food, really friendly and attentive staff.Great value for money, what more could you ask for. I am seriously thinking of having my Birthday party there. I hope you have a positive experience like we did. Enjoy .

Had the set one BBQ. The dumplings and vegetable pancake were delicious. Would eat every time. Having the BBQ cooked in front of you was fun.

Food was lovely! Staff very friendly only bad thing is there are no facilities to change a baby so i had to change my 5 month old in the restaurant was very embarrassing!

I was delighted with our experience and the food was delicious. My only downside was I found the booth seating a little uncomfortable, but other than I couldn't recommend it more.
