Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. The upstairs area felt like it had too many chairs/table crammed in, however we had a late booking so this didn't affect us. Food was excellent, the only let down was the rice ball as we expected more filling. Wait times were around 10 minutes or so as the kitchen was winding down and the place wasn't overly busy. Overall, great experience.

Again a fabulous experience at Furaibo. Love sitting on the balcony. Food was delicious and the service excellent. The boys loved the steaks and I enjoyed the vegetarian tempura roll. Another standout dish was the plum pie with matcha ice cream for dessert. Definitely a favourite eating spot atm.

Food was delicious and good value for money. Service on the other hand was very average. No communication between staff and don’t work very efficiently. We all ordered beers at a table of 4 and they were all delivered individually over the course of 10 minutes. Staff asking if we want to order and then just walking away without taking an order???!! It was. a Saturday night and busy so would go back on a quieter night to give it another try.

Food was better on Valentine’s Day , the chicken wings still rock but the skewers were dry and overcooked the second time around. Hopefully better 3rd time around.

Great food and drinks. Decent pricing for quality of food. Waiters just needed more practice with table numbers and orders. Kept getting wrong food sent to our table

The food was beautiful however the service needs improvement. The waitresses are lovely but they need to coordinate more. Initially we had multiple staff asking for drinks and food while towards the end we could not get the attention of anyone for a long time. Also there appears to be a shortage of menu's.

There was a mis-coordination by the staff/chef, where we had added more orders (skewers) after our first round, at the same time ordered 2 desserts but the 2 desserts were served first prior to our hot food.

my only issue the waitresses are not fully converse with English and so it is hard to explain and ask questions when ordering food. aside from this issue the overall experience was good. will certainly come back.

We had to ask for menus twice and the waitress decided to only give 2 menus for a table of 6. We asked for menus for everyone and she decided to come back with 2 extra menus so 4/6 people had a menu. Had to ask for water twice. Two people ordered 1 lamb chop each. one was a good juicy size and the other one was a size for a mouse. You would think that they’d put similar sized lamb chops out together so that we didn’t feel ripped off. We asked the waitress why one was so tiny and she rolled her eyes at us with a sigh as she walked off. The sticks were super dry and everything we initially wanted was sold out. It also took the longest to come. However the scotch fillet on binchotan was great and cooked well. Will give this place a few more months in hopes of huge improvements before I come back :)

Food was hit and miss. It may be that we were not ordering right. Highlight of the night is the mentaiko pasta and charcoal onigiri. We ordered sushi and yakitori which we felt was average. We still had a good time nevertheless, service was great.

Food amazing and service very very friendly - might be beneficial to educate staff on the menu, how to take payments etc. I know it is very new, but these are very important aspects and do affect the overall experience. I'll definitely be back to try for dinner!

Sashimi although fresh, was cut too thickly for our liking. Wagyu skewer and otoro was very good. Chawamushi unfortunately was tasteless and overcooked so we only had a couple of spoonfuls.

Food was good, but at times, service was a little lacking and took a while to get the attention of the waiters/ waitresses..... other than that highly recommended in terms of the quality of the presented dishes.

After reading rave reviews from Japan and the USA we were excited to experience the food. My husband and I were disappointed as the food was quite average i.e. the chicken wings were dry and not very tasty and my husbands soft shell crab tempura was also average in flavour.

Food is delicious and good value for money. We tried the set menu on Valentine’s day and it was way more than we expected. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented well.

Food and service were excellent except one of our orders came late. The chawanmushi came half an hour later when we were onto desserts.

Food was lackluster and not worth the price. Octopus and soft shell crab were way too oily and complimenting garnishes were bland. Won't be going back.

Great spot in the city for some Japanese goodness! The spicy salmon roll wasn’t spicy this time which was a shame. But it was yum nonetheless.
