Great service! Even did a spontaneous birthday celebration which was super special. The mains are huge for 2 people so I can see this being great for families!

Food was ok, had the banquet, entrees were great but mains lacked flavour. service wasn't the best either - had to call them over to order drinks and food and wasn't that busy

The tempura was excellent and the right amount. In a group of five we could have conversations without problems as the tables are well spaced. Service was friendly however the dishes arrived spasmodically.

Very messy no new playes between course and disgusting bbq water came out frim y der bbq all over our shoes. The operator very slopy wont fo back again

Booked a tatami room for six people. Was a fun night. Staff lovely. Fabulous that it's BYO. Next time will have to try the Teppanyaki bar with a group.

We had a lovely meal and lots of fun at the teppanyaki table. The service here is perfect, the food is delicious and the Japanese Slipper cocktails are really good.

Food is pretty good for the price you pay. Everything was tasty and well cooked. I would go back and eat there again. Yum yum

The Fujiyama staff were very friendly, and the food was fantastic. I would recommend doing the tepanyaki, our group had a very enjoyable time, a lot of fun.

Can't speak highly enough about this restaurant. Its food is excellent, but it is the service that makes this restaurant a favourite. The staff are attentive to children and are able to accommodate people with food allergies. We had yet another memorable night and will be going back soon.

We had a fabulous time at Fujiyama Teppanyaki for my mother birthday. The restaurant is clean, the staff are most helpful. The Chef kept us engaged and entertained. The food was delicious. The age range of guests, of our group, from 9 to 72.. and everyone was pleased on all aspects. Reasonably priced.. making it a bonus. Will definitely eat at Fujiyama again.

Spoilt the night when we found insects in the lettuce leaves. Not good as it makes you wonder what else we didn't find, say no more

We booked from Sydney, Turned up early and we're seated quickly no fuss at all. We had a fun family evening, attentive staff great food.

Highly recommend Fujiyama for its very clean, tasty food! An extensive menu catering for all tastes. The service was excellent and prices are very reasonable.

Great family restaurant. The food and service were good and the atmosphere was fun watching the teppanyaki, however the decor was a little tired. Overall a great place to go for dinner and we will certainly eat here again.

Great food presentation of skills and fun games with food and rice bowls! Highly recommended for birthdays and other parties and very handy for local residents.

Tempura was very oily, could not finish it as my stomach started feeling funny. The staff was friendly. If you expect "Japanese food", this place is not the one you should go. As an Asian restaurant, it is good.

Food was average and prawns were undercooked. When asked for revoking we were provided with exactly the same plate including a half eaten prawn that we tasted.

Enjoyed our night immensely. We loved the décor and ambience from the moment we stepped in. The service was friendly and very attentive and the food WOW! We had a banquet which allowed us to try new flavours. Presentation excellent and everything delicious. An unexpected treat complements of the house, was a plate of icecream mocha balls with a candle for my daughters birthday, the waiter even sung Happy Birthday! Needless to say we will be celebrating all our birthdays at Fujiamas from now on. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The restaurant was quite shabby compered to the website. The food was very average and so over priced for what you received. We ordered the teppanyaki which took an to start and we chose the menu with seafood as well. The prawn, yes just one prawn was served and over cooked with a couple pieces of over cooked squid was an additional $24. That's absolutely ridiculous. We were seated next to the kitchen servery and had all the noise and activity of waiters and the kitchen. The skill of our chef and the quality of food presented was very poor. Basically he couldn't cook. I would not recommend this restaurant and after spending $124 we walked out so disappointed. I think even a '1' over rating. I would have enjoyed a noodle take away far more. Japanese cuisine . . . hmmmmm I would have thought Brighton would offer a better class of dinning.

We had the best time for our friends birthday. Food was fantastic, there was so much in the set meals and the tepanyaki experience was great fun. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, staff very friendly and attentive and the teppinyaki games great fun! It was my sons birthday and he had a great time (kids are 9 and 6).

The menu is very extensive with a variety of seafood dishes and beef and chicken. The service was excellent. Very reasonable prices. BYO is a bonus.

Nice restaurant with broad menu. Not the best, but certainly worth a visit. Service was efficient, and online reservation system makes booking easy. Miso soup could have been a little warmer, otherwise a good meal.

We've been there a few times and will certainly go there again. The staff are lovely people and the food is first rate - fresh, good quality and cooked beautifully. A nice relaxing atmosphere.

Good quality sashimi though not exactly delicately cut. Good service. Serving sizes are pretty big. Looks like they have good and fun tepanyaki too. We may bring the kids back to tepanyaki.

Hmm where should i start? From getting our simple menu wrong. We got soy sauce spilt on us not once but twice. Had to ask for a replacement soy sauce because they forgot after they spilt it. My main came before my entree which they got wrong also. Gave us unagi sushi when we ordered unagi main. And we still had to pay for it The restaurant wasn't even busy Will never step foot in there again.

We had a very enjoyable night out with friends. The food was great and the experience was lots of fun. The staff were very pleasant.
