Great food and excellent service - this will definitely become one of our favorites! Good to know they also offer Teppanyaki too. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous food, fast service. Took my 2 tweens, who are not awfully adventurous eaters, and they had a great night! The food presentation was lovely and made them interested enough to try just about everything! We'll be back!

Teppanyaki was so much fun and yummy food. Will definitely be going back. Staff so friendly and the kids loved it. Our new favourite Japanese!

Great service and friendly staff although we had a little problem with communication. The food was good but came out all at once. it would've been better if we had our entree first then had the main brouoght out.

We had only experienced Japanese food once before with someone else choosing the order. We did not know what to expect but the waiter was very helpful and we enjoyed everything.

Fujiyama’s teppinyaki is a great choice for a special occasion. Both adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose the $70/head menu which certainly doesn’t leave you hungry!!

Tepanyaki chef wasn't very entertaining or proficient. Food was very good yet no real options for kids with fussy appetites. table service was also poor.

Very attentive staff but made us feel rushed as trying to clear our plates while we we’re still eating and brought my sons icecream while still eating main course. Kids loved the bento boxes, food was great though a little too salty. Tepanyaki loooked like fun!

Impressed by the friendly & efficient staff, quick service and lovely food. The plum wine was beautiful and snappy soft drink bottles to impress the kids.

Great food, good choices for all. Chef was excellent and entertaining at the teppanyaki grill. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend the teppanyaki grill for the experience if you haven't done it before.

Had the a la carte, crisp service and excellent Japanese from a broad range of options. Good for kids as food is in small enough portions and comes quickly

The boat was great the meat dish not so much so. Also the table service was a little lax however our waitresses demeanour was great. Would go again

We had the Tepanyaki set menu dinner. Everything was delicious. Meat exceptionally tender. The chef was very amusing and a great cook. We WILL be back.

We have frequented this restaurant for the past ten years and keep coming back. Friendly service, great food. Close by to the palace theatre and parking. Many restaurants in this area to choose from so return visits say it all.

I'd been there many years go , food was good real authentic. This time we were really disappointed! It just didn't appear to be real Japanese. Every dish we ordered we left some behind. Tempura batters not quite light like it should be. Sorry we won't be back again!

Staff waa friendly but they dont know how to put and clean up a plate from the table. Food was average, we came with a high expectation but was disappointed with the quality of the fokd.

We dined at one of the teppanyaki tables; the meal was full of theatre and delicious. It's our son's favourite Japanese experience and was his choice for his birthday.

Great food, chef was very entertaining, but the customer service and atmosphere/decor of the restaurant lets Fujiyama down. Very claustrophobic sitting at the Teppanyaki table - absolutely no elbow room.

The service was excellent and the chef did lots of really fun tricks so we had a ball. The steak was melting in the mouth so very impressed but... the rest of the food was not very well seasoned, the fish tasted "fishy" so not sure how fresh it was... I left it on the plate after one bite...

Was a bit disappointed they didnt have pineapple juice for a few of the cocktails they had on the menu. The Gyuniku Shogayaki sauce was extremely strong, my mother had trouble eating it but all the other food was delicious.

Stunning food. Great and fast service. Tepanyaki grills loads of fun. But also pricate rooms and tables for a more subdued dining experience. Well worth a try.

Food was delicious. We had teppenyaki, our chef was excellent. We had our young boys with us and looks on thier faces was priceless. All the staff were wonderful

Our third New Year's Eve dinner at Fujiyama. Great staff, excellent food, always entertaining. Highly recommend the Tempura prawns and the eye fillet in teriyaki sauce.

Beautiful seating and decor. Extremely quick and courteous service. I lived in Japan for 6 years and the sushi / sashimi at Fujiyama tasted like the best I've ever tasted. Kid and family friendly. A touch higher on price point, but it is in Brighton and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

Good fresh seafood. Big servings of bento box but chicken and pork seems overcooke. Tempura is very nice and delicious. Will come back to try other dishes

Delicious food that is enhanced by the colourful presentation which is augmented by the generous servings and reasonable pricing. We've been here before and found that the service was as good as the previous occasion.
