The grilled John Dory was fresh n tasty. And the sweet potato chips was delicious! Friendly service as always.

I booked on the internet, arrived and the waiter said ... oh that doesn't work!!!! He said he had a group of 8 arrive with eldery and he had no table for them. They had booked on the internet too and he sent them away. Oh and the mash was cold!!!

We really enjoyed the food- the fish and oysters were excellent. We know they were bush but service for drinks was slow. Anyhow food made up for it. JD

I took my 6 year old granddaughter who wanted to go back to her favourite fish and chips restaurant. We had been several times before. funnily enough now that she can read, she saw chicken schnitzel on the menu and wanted that! Staff were so friendly and helpful My garlic prawns were delicious

Best place for Fish on the North Shore. Great variety of fish that is cooked to perfection every time. Staff are friendly. If you ever fancy fish for dinner here is the place to go.

Service very responsive from the proprietor, other staff member a little non-communicative..... great seafood, though servings were a little smaller this time compared to our last visit a month ago. Missed the fish pie, that apparently they only do in winter! Overall a great seafood place, will go back!

We booked ahead and were greeted by their friendly staff. The menus offer a wide range and variety of food and drinks (Alcoholic as well). The prizes seemed pretty good too. The food was very well prepared and vary tastefull presented. The flavours were subtle and balanced. All in all a great dining experience.

We have lunched here on many occasions and it never fails to please. This is a casual style restaurant with covered outdoor seating and some tables inside. Fish is prepared simply, service is friendly and efficient. Our only disappointment on this visit was that our request for a particular inside table had been overlooked. We'll be back.

First time there and will definitely return. Our meals were delicious and the service was excellent. We sat outside on a cold night and with the heaters going we did not feel the cold.

The food and value for money is very good. The fish and other seafood is always fresh. Serving staff are a little inexperienced and at times over effusive. There was a long delay in removing finished plates and utensils from our table. All in all this restaurant is recommended and I'm told the take away is also very good.

Fantastic service. This is the 5th time I have visited and I was slightly disappointed to find the food was not as good as previous occasions. The atmosphere is probably the best thing about the restaurant and the close proximity to the Lane Cove Plaza.

Highly recommended. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed delicious fresh fish (John Dory!!) and a juicy flavoursome hamburger. Prices are very reasonable with many $16 main course options, and it's BYO. So... great value for a great meal in a great location!!

Food top notch and the service was great. Free entertainment if a busker is hanging close by. :) will return. Had the lemon sole. Hmmmmmmmm.

The four of us were very happy with the quality and quantity of seafood we ordered. Comfortably warm in the outdoor room as it was a cold windy evening.

There are outside and inside tables available at this establishment. Indoor decor is relatively basic and outside is very open. Food and service were great and excellent value.

Enjoyed the food and the outdoor setting. Service was friendly but long wait to take order and had to ask twice for wine glasses; they appeared to need more staff. Although early in evening one of the specials was already unavailable. Once order in the food came promptly. Overall, an pleasant meal.

The fish was very fresh and cooked just right. The chip could have been crisper, but the salad was excellent. The service was up to standard.

The quality of the food is always excellent. They now have roller shade screens so it's pleasant even in summer to sit outside. Service is OK. Always very friendly. BYO wine always appeals to us.

Superb Oyster Kilpatrick - lusciously juicy not like the usual. Excellent chips salad dressing & salad. Barramundi fillet was a bit on the dry side but very tasty.

Service was good although a bit over zealous at first! Fantastic fish, especially the salt and pepper calamari. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The scallop and prawn entrees were delicious. The service was reasonable. Main courses were lovey and the salad was tasty and all the meals were well presented.

Fourth Fish is a local gem. Good quality meals, a wide variety of interesting menu choices, cheerful helpful service and a delightful environment - especially on a balmy evening in Lane Cove Plaza. Reasonable prices and its BYO status make this a really excellent addition to the Lane Cove dining scene.

Food was kept waiting on the pass because wait staff were too busy stuffing around so it came out cold. Management really needs to review their wait staff and perhaps lose the kid who wears thongs and forgets to wear a belt so dinners have to look at his undies and bum crack. Surely there are laws about this in the food industry ie OH&S, health and hygiene. Makes you wonder what else is lacking behind the scenes. Won't be back.

We had a lovely family meal with friends at Four Fish. Recommend this restaurant in Lane Cove if you are having a casual meal and want to be outdoors.

We enjoy this restaurant. Good price and food enjoyable. Could wipe tables down more. They get very grimy being outside. This visit we had a waiter with a memory problem.

Friendly staff and excellent food. Nice location especially for the kids to wander around the plaza nearby so we could relax and have some time, while keeping an eye on them.

The Fourth Fish has great service and very tasty food. No wonder it is a local favourite. Highly recommended for a casual but very enjoyable meal.

Food was good, but service very haphazard. Main courses not served at same time and vegetables only arrived after we had really finished our main course. Request for side serve of bread arrived about 20 minutes after we had finished our meal.
